methicillin. sm [2008-07-02]
Was methicillin at the beginning of a sentence? Why would this need to be capitalized? Did I miss something somewhere?

Methicillin... [2008-07-02]
Youdid not miss anything.Methicillin was in the middle of the sentence. It was near a spot where I left a blank because the dictator's cell phone was blasting in my ear andI could not hear his voice, so the particular QA person made this, shall we say, correction? Fortunately, it was a minor error for me; therefore, I am going to point it out to myQA Team Leader (whatever the title is now) vs appealing it, as it does not have any impact on my QA score. Am Icorrect? Thank you again for your input. I've been having quite a time with these issues of late. to you, too!

Areyou QA, by any chance? - sm [2008-07-01]
Thanks for not calling me on my typo, by the way (ha). You're undoubtedly right, though I wondered if it was being done overseas, as well. Sigh. Did you get this info from higher up the ladder, or from experience, if I might ask? I'm about at the end of my rope with this ASR worsening by the day and impacting my line count as it has, and then I got called today for not capitalizing methicillin when I expanded MRSA (which of course ASR does not). Go figure. Thankyoufor responding.

hoping not to sound stupid - but what does MRSA stand for - sm [2007-05-26]
I saw it on one report as Methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus and on another report as Methicillin-resistant .... so which is it?? Is it sensitive or resistant? I was ALWAYS told that it is resistant.

There is also an ORSA too... [2007-05-26]
Oxacillin resistant Staph aureus (ORSA) / Methicillin resistant Staph aureus (MRSA).
