And you are always so modest, too [2005-12-20]

You aren't alone in your assessment... [2008-03-23]
and there is nothing wrong with you. I've been with this company and/or its predecessor for 16 years, and I've never made such a modest pay. I'm at the poverty level right now. I feel as you do. I've had a few supervisor changes, and I feel like everyone but me knows what's going on a day-to-day basis. I think they're just overhiring.
*work to in-service all team members* [2007-10-09]
I believe that excuse is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Even if only half of the MTs were on the NQP, can you imagine how many appeals their little team has received if 3000 MTs each sent on average 2 appeals? I think those estimates are on the more modest side. I haven't heard anything on an appeal I filed a week ago.
Interesting question! [2007-07-30]
I don't know of any MTs there, but ageologist friend could not drive or go anywhere unaccompanied by her husband, if she were deemed to not be wearing modest enough clothing in public she could be beaten by the religious police, and as a non-muslim and a female, her value was something along the lines of talking livestock. She had very colorful descriptive language of her experience.
Some male friends in the oil business much prefer Kuwait or the UAE or even Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, butI don't know if those countrieshave any hospitals requiring English-speaking transcriptionists. Disclaimer: Male oil field workers' preference for other Arabic countries over Saudi Arabia may have more to do with the more ready availability of alcohol than any other factor.
Well, I for one appreciate the humor [2007-07-17]
and I love the MQ diet plan! No calorie counting, no portion control.
Now that Iam slowly becoming a lady of - eh hem - more modest means, I can use a laugh more than ever.
I'll keep tuning in. Will you be playing here all week?
Beat Barb - bragging for a friend [2007-05-25]
She is too modest to brag...so I will for her.... She scored 105 with no errors!!! How great is that!! I knew that she would be in the running..you should see her fingers fly when she types... Congrats Karen and good luck with the grand prize!!!!
You are full of beans, [2007-04-03]
I have read every shred of information given me, and nowhere, I repeat, nowhere, does it state you must keep EVERY e-mail that is sent. Must keep rules, regulations, account specifics, etc; but not every backlog report. Since it is not required to have an MQ computer (use my own) or use IMAIL (again, my own e-mail account), there is also no requirement to store 1000s of mb on my hard drive or in my e-mail account. Anyone who tried to make up some malarkey like this should be the one who has to check on and receive forwarded copies of millions of e-mails (modest calculation of 8,000 employees x2 e-mails daily x365 days in a year is over 4.5 million)
For a know-it-all, you don't know much!
new computer [2006-03-30]
you can buy a nice computer without bells and whistles good enough to work on for a modest amount of money. Think of all the money you've spent on rentals of junky computers and consider how much you could have put toward your own. You can buy a decent computer for a few hundred dollars now. Just don't go for the CD burner and other things you'll probably never use. Get something basic and it's yours forever. Try a Dell package that allows you to pay per month, just like the rent you're paying MQ now. Would you lease a car for the same amount each month that you would pay for owning it?
somebody must be jelous [2005-10-07]
You people crack me up. If you are not typing over 275 per hour, you got into the wrong field to make money. I type 350 per hour with no problem. There should be no complaints from those who don't produce high line counts about the new MQ plan. If you weren't making bonus before, you won't miss it. For me.......it will be a little less but close. What other company pays a bonus as well as the one you are all complaining about?
I've been transcribing for 15 years and I type a good 90+ per minute. I was told from the get go....if you don't type fast, don't get in this field. If all you are trying to do is make a modest living, than no problem have at it. Don't critize people because they have the ability to type 350 per hour. I can do that on an average day and better on better days. Don't cry the song about how I must type terribly because I too have a 99% accuracy ratio.
You people sit on this web site and type complaints half the day. Log off, type on your accounts, and you just might make the money you claim you have lost with the new program.
