Doesn't offshoring make HIPAA a joke? [2008-12-02]
Americans spend time carefully deleting old files, etc., IN THEIR OWN HOMES while current records and sensitive information are allowed to regularly be sent to insecure terror hot spots like Mumbai? It's all about PROFITS--not security or privacy.

So it doesn't matter if you got a 30 minute file and only 3 minutes of it is actually dictation, [2008-11-20]

Positive the hyphen doesn't go in sm for Vicryl [2008-10-16]
The zero (0) and one (1) can stand alone. You put a # if the dictate it, not if they don't. 1 Vicryl, or 0 Vicryl is correct, as is 2-0 Vicryl and 3-0 Vicryl and 5-0 Vicryl Rapide (not RePEED) as I had an MT transcribe and who SHOULD have looked this up! Numbers really can stand alone, as above or in 2 days' time. I had an MT type in 1-day and that is wrong, it is just 1 day or even one day. We are so used to sticking stuff together with hyphens and what not, it seems odd at times, but it is true. I'd rather see a number stuck alone that really needs to be a compound modifier, than see them always as compound modifiers when they are not. This is the most common error I am seeing in QA right now.

it doesn't for me [2008-10-16]
It should but doesn't. I have toggled the CS Expander to off and have made various adjustments in the preferences for ShortHand to no avail. I still get double expansions or missed letters/word fragments. On another thread, someone mentioned that either ShortCut or Instant Text should work, thus my question about ShortCut (I can't afford Instant Text).

but I have noticed when he goes to the bathroom (we only have one and for some reason they always have to come in and take a pee when you're in there!) that his urine smells very concentrated. I noticed this awhile back and urged him to start drinking more water. He has cut out almost all caffeine (he used to drink Pepsi like an addict) and has upped his intake of water and gatorade. He doesn't take a multivitamin (although I've tried to get him too!) We do have a clinic here in town that only charges $65 to see the doctor, but unfortunately we are going paycheck to paycheck right now. Hopefully next week we will have some extra and can take him in. I just didn't know if there was anything we could try. I try taking the comforter off of him when he starts sweating but he pulls it back on, and I even put the fan on his side. It doesn't happen every night, but more often than not it does. I thought maybe it was because he dreams a lot and he was getting his heart rate up, kind of like dogs do when they dream. Not implying that my DH is a dog of course! LOL

school [2008-10-11]
I am definitely aware of what is going on with the economy. It just happens that now is the perfect time financially for me to go to school. Also, I do not plan on going to school for economics, finance, or marketing, which are the main areas grad students are having a hard time finding jobs for (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2008149224_gradjobs31.html). For some of us, there is no time like the present.

I personally don't know about this, but [2008-10-03]
there has been talk about doing other transcription, such as legal. You might want to check that out. Just Google and see what comes up. I am a recent grad, and finding it is not that easy. There is work out there, but the question is: What type of company will you end up at? It all depends on getting good dictators, little or no ESLs, how many hours do you spend looking things up, etc? Companies don't pay for this. It's not like you are getting paid hourly, unless you're lucky enough to work in a hospital. 7 or 8 cpl isn't much for all the researching, change this, change that, what did he say?, etc. things that we do. I wish I had gone into something else, but I am here now, and trying to make the best of it. It is nice, I have to say, being able to work from home. I can take a break when I want, I can take and pick my kids up from school, etc. I am very fortunate to have a good husband, with a good job, that lets me pretty much do what I have to, to be there for our kids and still make some money. I don't know your situation, but if you are okay with just making extra money, or chancing who you may work for, then go for it. Just from my research and looking around, it seems the quality companies to work for are less and less. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Some Good, Some Bad [2008-08-19]
When I first got in this field, I was an intern just about to graduate. Money is slow at first, but if you keep working at it, it gets better. Sometimes you might have to jump around a bit to get with a company that makes both of you happy. I attended MT school at Brown College of Medical Transcription in Atlanta, GA. I must say that I received an awesome education from them. Upon entering the field, my skills were way above the average new grad. I work from home and love what I do. If you want to converse with me further on this, please reply to my e-mail address.

Scam companies/schools that recommend them [2008-07-11]
In regards to scam companies mainly Toth—I also wanted to add this note . . . there is a school (a small one) that provides passing students with a list of places that hire new grads. I cannot say the name of that school, as I have seen them advertise here and I don’t want to point fingers. Anyway, I do not know if she still has Toth on her list for newbies searching for potential jobs, but she did at one time. She claims she checks out the companies before she lists them, which is false. I personally informed the school about Toth because I along with four other MTs who had taken her course were cheated out of pay. She told me she didn't put Toth on the list – that she checks them out etc. Not too long after that a new grad approached me because she found that Toth was on the list and wondered if it was the same company that had cheated so many newbies. I told her that it was and she didn't take the job. At least I saved one MT. J Anyway, please do your own research when applying for jobs. Some schools don't care. They just like to say that they have a high percentage of working grads (they fail to mention the grads are not getting paid)! Please use caution. The best way to learn about the good places is by word of mouth. Okay-Thank you and have a good night. I am getting off my soapbox now.

Online Schools [2008-07-07]
How can you knock what you don't know? How do you know that Andrews and M-Tec aren't graduating qualified MTs? No one said that a graduate knows everything straight out of the gate. I'll bet the grads from the vo-tech school didn't either. But, Andrew and M-TEC teach how to research (major plus!), fine tune grammar that should have already been learned, and teach how to take constructive criticism with a positive attitude-all in order to teach how not to make the same mistake over and over. As an Andrews grad (and current Editor for a mid-sized MTSO), I have seen grads from the other schools, and they require a huge amount of schooling on the job as compared to the top 2 schools. JMO. Christine

Ability to get job is what matters most [2008-07-07]
Yes,Andrews and M-Tec are more expensive than a CC, but if you want to work from home, the companies that are looking to hire you don't know if your CC program is adequate. Some are, some aren't, and there are lots of them around the country. The companies know that if you successfully completed Andrews or M-TEC, you are likely to succeed. There are so many posts on these boards from newbies who can't find jobs, yet M-TEC and Andrews grads get hired. I was hired fresh out of school by a large national, worked there 3 years, and was just hired by a smaller MTSO. Getting both jobs was a breeze. I have never had to test for a job. Both companies told me they hired me because I am an M-TEC grad, and they did not feel testing was necessary.

Coding [2008-06-26]
I was in the same situation but for different reasons. When my wrists were just getting too painful, I thought coding would be a good transition. I work at a large level 1 trauma center which is a teaching facility. I went to school for a year and spent A LOT of time studying. I finished my program in one year. It entailed 33 credits total. I also was in the middle aged' bracket and was a little tentative about returning to school. I was hired as a new grad at a level 1 trauma center facility shortly after I graduated and had one year to earn my credential. There are 2 different credentials you can earn. CC-A which is a certified coding associate and is designed for new coders with little experience. CC-S certified coding specialist is for people with several years of experience, and taking that test is probably the worst experience of my life! Very, very difficult. The work is challenging but never boring, but I think part of that challenge is because of the facility I work in. I am always learning something new. there is a significant requirement to earn CEs in order to maintain that credential so we do a lot of inservicing, but I learn new things every day in this work. It is also quite stressful as we are always under the gun to meet TAT goals and also have $$ goals (we need to have our accts receivable at a particular level every day and must be coding within XX number of days from service/ discharge). I would not suggest learning by any method other than on campus as you will have many questions and will need face-to-face contact. We have 27 coders in our dept and 99% will tell you they love it. The pay is good (for me it is better than transcription, but that is subjective of course) and the benefits are good. The demand is great, but it is not easy to break in to the field and get a job without experience. Most facilities are going to remote coding so you can work from home. I have a laptop computer (company provided) and can work from any location so I spend time in midwest in summer and southwest in winter, a really nice perk!

learning steno, et al. [2008-04-20]
Hi mt, I looked into closed captioning many years ago here in San Diego, but it was not as good as it sounded with many problems both internally and externly, hard to explain in this forum, but I didn't want to get involved in that mess. I started court reporting school way back in 1988 when we still had saber tooth tigers running around. I started the program at San Diego's City College. The first semester was learning theory which taught the steno language and the keyboard. We used the old manual machines, which are still available for students. The second semester and thereafter was all about the dreaded speed-building classes. We finished the first semester at 60 words a minute. Speed-building is a very personal matter. It can take years and years or less time, depending on the person. It took me 2 more years to reach 225 words per minute which qualified me to take the California state board test for licensure. I passed the academic portion the first time but not the machine portion. So I took it another 6 times, never passed that damned thing! Nerves got the best of me each and every time, so I could not go into the court reporting field (something I don't regret in hindsight). Instead I opted to enter our wonderful field of MTing. I'm using my machine to write this message. I really like using the machine a lot. Each stroke produces either one word several words or phrases or parts of words that have many syllables. It all depends on how you have your dictionary defined. Today's steno machines are electronic and computerized allowing us to interface with any word processing program. I hope more people learn this skill and start using it for medical reports so we can get rid of this rotten ASR chap which has reduced my income way more than I can live with. I need a firm that will appreciate my skill and recognize its value in this field. BTW, it would only take about 10 months to a year to become proficient enough on the machine to start using it for MTing, maybe even less time depending on the person. I didn't work during 3 years of my early training as I had financial help at the time (which I had to pay back, of course, $30,000 - it's paid back now). Dave

Wages [2008-04-17]
I don't know about anyone else but I make the same amount of money if not more doing VR than I used to doing transcription, at least when there's work. Lately the middle to end of the week I have nothing to do! I personally am only doing this while I finished my bachelor's that I needed to apply to grad school which I start this fall when I'll quit. I don't think that VR will ever replace MTs entirely because it just is too important to have perfect medical records and VR just isn't perfect especially since doctors do dumb things like talk to other people, correct themselves, mumble, etc.

new grad of a big 3 school [2008-04-02]
Hello, I am a new grad of the Everett Community College program which partners with Career Step. I posted my resume and got a response from a company that expected me to drop everything at dinner time to do their timedtest (I emailed them back at 6 pm Pacific time saying I would be happy to do their timed test, that I would check my email the next morning at 9 am and have the test back to them by 10 am). I got a reply saying first come first served and nothing since then. Maybe I don't want to work for a company like this anyway! : ( When someone says jump, I am not going to say how high. I graduated from an excellent program, andI am not a desparate mom with 3 kids at home who will jump through hoops to work from home (I have no kids yet - learned MT to be well-prepared before we choose to do that). The pay was 7 cpl and they refused to give me details such as IC vs stat employee vs employee pay, and benefits.

CS is absolutely a legitimate program. [2008-02-19]
I'm a proud CS grad, and have enjoyed working as an MT for the last 18 months. I had no problems getting hired (multiple job offers) and no issues with ramping up to line counts or QA expectations. There are folks for whom CS isn't the right match, just as there are folks for whom Andrews and M-Tec aren't the right match. You should definitely research the programs to find the one that fits your learning style best. Good luck!!

Best wishes to you on that plan, but [2008-01-16]
I have to admit that I was (and still am) an RN first. With all of its difficulties, I have to admit that I would prefer to be an MT than return to that extremely stressful situation of RN bedside nurse. The one good thing that I can say with regards to nursing is that the pay seems to be really good, though, and it does notseem difficult for a new grad to find a good nichein which to begin working. One piece of advice that I give is to work towards a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and possibly move on towards a Masters degree or even a PHD, before you are 50. Find a job that you can continue to do until older age, when your body may no longer be up to the physical stress required for direct patient care (especially when it includes lifting, turning the patient, etc.) Get into a specialty where you can use your brain more than your muscles. If you are not already doing so, get into an exercise program and take good care of your musculoskeletal system. If I were not almost geriatric, I would take my own advice. My big mistake was starting out with anAssociate Degree and not continuing my nursing education. Believe it or not, I cannot even get a job in a doctor's office, as they prefer LPNs. I even called my state board of nursing and asked if I could get an LPN license by just being an RN and taking the LPN exam. They told me that I would have to complete an LPN training program first, which I am not inclined to do.I know it was a strange question to ask them, but I had to ask...Best to you..

I agree that is what probably happened [2008-01-09]
they have minimum requirements for jobs and they probably sent other people with Ph.Ds also. Cuts down on money for advertising for jobs if they can fill them with applications already received. That HR person was probably some ditzy high school grad making minimum wage - just putting pegs into holes.

English [2008-01-06]
True. There are so many dialects here in the U.S. I am from the south, and I went up north and they talk entirely different. Just different accents, different ways of saying things. They looked at me like where in the heck did you come from. But with the ESLs I just get plain fustrated because I feel like they aren't making a effort to speak where I can understand them sometimes. And some of them do make the effort. They do and you can tell. They are trying. But those others really chap my *ss.

ESL's sm [2008-01-06]
I too have my share of complaints about ESL's or chuckle at some of the stuff that comes out of those mouths sometimes, but truth be told, if I had not suffered the blood, sweat and tears with trying to figure them out by fast forwarding through the rest of the report when necessary, I would not have gained the knowledge under my belt that I have now. It's HARD work, not for the lazy or faint hearted. There is crying, headache and chest pain with some of these guys. I am not going to judge whether they could do better and learn the language or not. All I am going to say is that it makes you a valuable asset to the profession to be able to transcribe almost anything that comes your way. It's an honor sometimes to know nothing can stump you. It slows you down, yes, indeed, but you know how to do something not everyone off the street knows how to do. Now, that's a valuable commodity that no one can take away from you - you earned it. I too am 4 different nationalities and proud of it. I can tell you, one of the hardest times I had was with the guys from across the pond in England. This young chap was engaged in a fisticuff a fortnight ago. I had a hard time figuring out this guy was inan altercation (or plain fight two weeks ago.) It takes all kinds and it would be very boring of we all spoke the same. I b**ch and moan like everyone else, but I love the challenge! IMHO

Trying [2008-01-01]

Makes twice what I make. I need to find something that doesnso bad at the end of the day anda paycheck that doesnme a stomach ache. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Stick to it, don't quit sm [2007-12-25]
You have to stick to your guns and keep your chin up. I think your husband does not appreciate what you are going through. No one completely understands this profession unless they have walked the walk. It's very difficult work but it is also rewarding (to me anyway). I fully understand because my family did not completely understand what I did or what I went through either, but you get better and faster with time and you hopefully will earn a decent wage with more time. I have known many who work at home, or in a hospital or officeand no one understands or appreciates them, they think they can run errands, answer phones, take kids to appointments, etc. They do not understand turnaround time, client demands, ESL's, job stress, etc., they don't think it's a real job. Hang in if you really like this profession, you will not get accolades from many or perhaps never fromanyone at all,but you will have the upper hand once you gain more experience. I used to want to have a day where all the docs were locked in a room and made to do some ESL's dictation all day. They would rip their hair out. Docs are not always the ideal spouses. My son went to grad school with a doc's wife and he kept calling her using the F wordand telling her to quit and my son encouraged her to stay and get her master's degree in a health-related profession, I think she probably makes more than he does now. Don't let it get you down, please. If you plan to have a family, it will work out. I put my kids through college with my MT money. It was worth it. Just don't work for nothing, charge appropriately and don't work free for your hubby or his buddies!

Chap [2007-12-16]
Well that does sound a little far fetched. I did not read the whole thing of course to see how he came to this conclusion. I think maybe he is just trying to make the school sound good. Not that some new grad MTs aren't good, but I don't think a company would actually choose a new grad over 15 years exp unless they wanted to pay cheap wages.Actually I only have about 11 months exp. so I am not far from being a new grad myself, but I know they didn't want me over someone with alot of exp. The lady that hired me I guess just wanted to give me a chance and she had some really easy dictation too. I am grateful because now I have moved on to acute care.

My applause and admiration to all the speedy accurate MTs out there! I really like doing this kind of work, but Ithink it may be more of a hobby thanproviding ahelpful income to my family. I am on the waiting list for Spheris....waiting for a dialup account. I could have already been hired by Spheris or several other companies that I tested with, but I only have access to dialup and most companies require DSL or high speed. I am thankful that there are some companies who give a new grad the opportunity to begin this profession. Thanks for all the very good advice!

Transcripts from Glenn Beck [2007-06-27]
There is so much more than just the video of How not to Hire Americans - the first half of the show blew me away Aired June 26, 2007 - 19:00:00 ET THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. (BEGIN VIDEOTAPE) GLENN BECK, HOST (voice-over): Tonight the immigration bill revived. TONY SNOW, WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY: We`re certainly happy that the motion of proceeding is passed. BECK: I`ll tell you what`s next for the bill that just will not die. Plus, a traffic stop turns deadly. Reigniting the debate over gun control. And Paris liberated yet again. She`s finally out of the slammer, but does this look like rehabilitation? All this and more tonight. (END VIDEOTAPE) BECK: Hello, America. Today Congress voted on whether or not to continue on that immigration reform bill, and here`s how it played out. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) REP. PETER HOEKSTRA (R), MICHIGAN: The conference voted this morning to proceed with debate on the Hoekstra resolution and not table it. If we would have tabled it, we would not have had any additional debate, and we would not have had the vote on the content of the resolution. The conference clearly wants to have a discussion and a fair debate within the conference. They did want to have the vote. (END VIDEO CLIP) BECK: These guys are amazing. In the words of today`s disaffected youth, whatever. This bill is like the terminator, man. It just won`t die. Here`s the point tonight. It doesn`t matter which way this vote went down today, because Congress will find a way to get its provisions through by any means necessary, usually by inserting them into other bills that don`t have anything to do with immigration. Sadly, that approach has become politics as usual. Remember the funding for the spinach growers that they -- they tried to shoehorn into the Iraq emergency funding bill? Let me give you another example. How about one that has a little flavor of south of the border? The Bush administration proceeded with a pilot program that would give Mexican trucking companies full access to all U.S. roads. Now, as it stands now, Mexican trucks can enter only at certain points along the U.S. border and can only hold goods about 70 miles into the United States. Certain members of Congress and the Department of Transportation have a little problem with the all access plan of the White House. So what did the White House do? Did they seek a compromise or amend their plan? Of course not. Instead they just got enough of their program included into the Iraq war supplemental spending bill that was signed into law just last month while all of us were paying attention to spinach. Don`t let anybody tell you that this is just a past due piece of NAFTA. Nothing to worry about. Do you know who the first people were to buy trucking companies along the southern border once NAFTA went through to take advantage of this loophole? Drug cartels. Look it up. Nice work, George. So tonight here`s what you need to know. Politics is a sneaky little business played by sneaky little men who all -- all of the angles are all played and they`re all covered by these guys. Congress is a lot like The Sopranos, except with worse dialogue. Like the saying goes, if you like sausage and the law, you probably don`t want to watch either one of them being made. Representative Ted Poe is a Republican from Texas. Congressman, I just can`t believe -- I can`t believe that the weasels in Congress suddenly find a spine on something everybody in the country is against. REP. TED POE (R), TEXAS: It`s amazing. You are correct. You know, the will of the American people is against this amnesty bill, but, yet, it keeps resurrecting its ugly head. It`s called everything else but amnesty. Most Americans are against it. Congress needs to get the point. DOBBS: Yes. Well, they`re not... POE: Leave it alone. DOBBS: Congressman, you know it and I know it. They`re not going to get the point. It`s exactly like this trucking thing. This trucking thing is back for safety. It`s bad for our environment. Are you kidding me? You`re going to have Mexican truckers, who may not even -- may not even be able to read road signs. God knows what they`ve put in the back of these trucks. Drug cartels own these trucking companies, and we`re just shoehorning this in, in the middle of the night? POE: No question about it. The administration wants to move forward with it. The House has passed legislation. It hadn`t gone to the Senate yet. Stopping this until the Transportation Department answers some questions. That`s being ignored by the Transportation Department. We`re concerned about safety. We`re concerned about the environment. And as you said, we`re concerned about drivers coming from Mexico that can`t even read a sign. And of course, this deal is not reciprocal. In other words, American trucks won`t be allowed to go into Mexico. It`s a one-way deal for Mexico. DOBBS: We`re getting -- I`m telling you, Congressman. We`re getting the shaft. I talked to -- on the radio program today, I talked to a woman who lives down in Texas. She said, My land is about to be taken for this NAFTA super highway. I think there`s a two-year reprieve on this. She said, I could lose my land on this NAFTA super highway, and I can`t get anybody to even go on record about that. What are they calling it now? They`re not calling it the NAFTA super highway. They`re calling it the corridor, the Texas Corridor Highway? POE: The Texas corridor. That`s what it`s being called now. DOBBS: Yes. POE: But that`s what it is. It`s a big land grab by the federal government to have a highway all the way through the United States from Mexico to Canada, and then when you talk to the Transportation Department, they deny this thing ever exists. DOBBS: You can find the plans on the internet. I mean, it`s amazing. How stupi* do they think we are? It doesn`t -- this doesn`t make sense to anyone in the country. Everybody is starting to ask questions. Wait a minute. We can`t get these guys to pass common sense legislation. They don`t have a spine. They`re weasels and everything. And yet, all of a sudden they will not relent on this legislation when both Republicans, conservatives, liberals, and Democrats are all saying we don`t want this legislation. We know something is up. POE: No question about it. This is bipartisan opposed to this super NAFTA highway. It`s going to be run by foreign governments. It`s going to be a toll road. Everything about it is bad for the American public. Congress is really opposed to it, but, once again, it`s going to happen. BECK: Congressman, thank you very much. Buckle up, America. Here it comes. If you think Congress is slippery at making the law, let`s shift gears here. Let`s look at the lawyers and the consultants who are even worse when it comes to skirting the laws that are already in place that nobody is enforcing. Recently, a video appeared on YouTube -- oh, how did we survive without YouTube -- that shows a seminar being led by Cohen and Grigsby. This is a Pittsburgh law firm that offers counseling to businesses on how to avoid the messy practice of hiring American workers and rigging the system so they can hire cheaper immigrant labor. Watch this. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Our goal here, of course, is to meet the requirements, No. 1, but, also, do so as inexpensively as possible, keeping in mind our goal. And our goal is clearly not to find a qualified and interested U.S. worker. Our objective is to get this person a green card and to get through the labor certification process. So certainly we are not going try to find the place where the applicants are going to be most numerous. We`re going to try to find a place where, again, we`re complying with the law and hoping, and likely, not to find qualified and interested worker applicants. (END VIDEO CLIP) BECK: Where is the outrage, America? This is unbelievable. This is not a conspiracy. They`re out in the open. Joining me now is Jack Shea, president of Allegheny County Labor Council. Jack, first of all, these guys are not breaking the law. They`re absolutely within their right of everything that they said, right? JACK SHEA, ALLEGHENY COUNTY LABOR COUNCIL, AFL-CIO: Well, they`re breaking the moral law. Let`s face it. BECK: The spirit of the law. SHEA: They`re disqualifying. That`s what they`re doing. Skilled workers to be able to find employment. Now, let`s face it, the middle class has eroded. You know it, and I know it, and we have to -- all are struggling to try to maintain the middle class. Now all of a sudden this thing shows up on YouTube, and guess what? This is their seventh annual immigration seminar. And I just happen to wonder how many people, not only in Pittsburgh and other parts of this country, who were qualified to get good paying, skilled jobs were disqualified on account of all these maneuvers and all these -- and this is something the Department of Labor ought to look into. Before any immigration bill or anything is passed, we got to find out. DOBBS: I -- Jack, where are the -- where are the congressmen that used to stand up, I`m fighting so we`re not outsourcing? Let me tell you something, outsourcing jobs is a dream come true at this point. At least the people in India are not also taking our services, Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid and our hospitals. SHEA: Well, it seems to me that it`s got a little too expensive, maybe, for some of these corporations to ship our jobs overseas, so now what they want to do bring is cheap labor to America and get the work done as cheaply as possible. Let`s not kid each other, OK? It`s this simple. If we all stand up and be against this stuff and don`t get the stuff investigated, it`s going to continue, and we`re not going to know about it. I am just glad that whoever invented that small camera that nobody knows where it`s at can be anywhere, and they better watch themselves. BECK: I`ve got to tell you, it`s my understanding that this company put this up themselves on the web site. This is not a hidden camera scenario. They filmed this thing. They`re not ashamed of this. This company, as far as I understand... SHEA: Well, they took it off. Glenn -- Glenn, they took it off. They took it off, I understand. BECK: Of course, they did. SHEA: Because of the outrage. It`s not right. It`s not fair to the worker. And let`s face it, when we start losing three million manufacturing jobs in this country, now what we want to do is -- we want our folks -- we want our folks to just start over again. And we get them to get skilled work, and look what happens. BECK: Well, I`ll tell you. One job many Americans seem like they don`t have a problem doing at all, and that`s screwing America over. Jack, thanks a lot. SHEA: OK, Glenn.
