My husband and I broke ground yesterday for our new house. The folks in our neighborhood (90%) are not happy. It is much too long of a story to go into here, but I would just like to ask for thoughts and prayers that this project goes smoothly and that the neighbors leave us in peace. Thank you. HC

Lord I just lift up Happycat and her family to You. I thank You and praise You that You are providing them with a new home. I ask that You would allow the construction to go quickly and effortlessly and that You would help her to keep the peace with her neighbors. I ask that You would help all the neighbors to love them and help them out Lord. Please change their hearts and help Happycat to love them in spite of their attitudes. She cannot change them but she can change herself and her attitude toward them. So Lord give her wisdom to know how to deal with the neighbors. Thank You Lord...in Jesus' Name...amen

She worked for Spear-Us, as she called them. Her husband had cancer, was on her benefits. Trying to take care of him, take him for chemo, she lost her benefits because she didn Thenshe put her car up for one of those title loans and lost her car. Then her husband passed away. Then Katrina hit her state. Then she had a CABG. Then she broke her wrist. Now she is having a nephrectomy this week for a tumor that was found incidentally on an abdominal CT scan because she has diverticulitis. Please keep her in your prayers. I will try to make this brief. I have marital problems, husband is gone all the time. I came to work at home again because I have no help with our children. I need to be here if they are sick and be here when they get home from school. But I have become once again socially isolated (I did this type of work for years and had a job outside of the home and enjoyed it, except for the fact that my children did not get enough attention, so I quit). I do have friends but I don I used to walk several miles a day but never do that anymore, have gained weight, eat junk food, stay on the computer too long. I am constantly busy. I still do volunteer work with my children - Scouts, church, etc., but I am so overwhelmed. My husband is almost never here. It almost feels more like he comes to visit us sometimes than actually lives here, but I need his help financially and my son is very afraid for me to get a divorce (long story, but he is afraid he would have to live part-time with his dad, and they are not close). I have debt that my husband doesn But he won When I tell him I need more money he tells me things like, turn off the cable TV or don The thing is he spends lots and lots of money on entertaining himself. He makes 3 x as much as I do (or maybe 4 by now). I have not been allowed to open his mail for years and we pretty much never talk. I have started to allow things to pile up, mail around my desk, weight around my middle, clutter here and there. I just feel like a big slug. I am tired much of the time. In reading this I sound depressed but I am already taking an antidepressant which I started a few years ago because of my marriage.I love my children so dearly but I am afraid of leaving and disrupting their lives. If I left I would at least get my part of the equity in ourhome, etc., and maybe have a chance at having a life again. Anyway, I know this is long and rambling and jumbled, but I just woke up, from another night of poor sleep. Please suggest what you would do. Thanks

Tramadol is the generic form of Ultram and you can get it for a copay of $4 I think at some pharmacy outlets like WalMart. I could not take it due to an allergy and it did not help that much. A microwave activated heating pad helped me a lot as well as some other generics for $4 copay. Pain is awful in this field, and very prevalent, will hope for the best for you. If you have insurance, ask for a TENS unit, doesn't hurt, may help. Stay strong.

I've been pretty [2008-09-09]
nervous about the whole thing. I put if off for a while. I just hope I can get it accomplished in the amount of time I have given myself. My husband graduates in June and I hope to be done by then so we can start our new careers at the same time! It should be fun though, and rewarding. I'm not a big fan of schooling, so this is going to be a bit of a chalange for me, quite an accomplishment in my mind.

I am asking for prayers. I suffer from fibromyalgia plus other underlying conditions. I have been in so much pain today, the week actually, but ran out of pain meds due to not having the finances to pay for my Ultram until my paycheck comes in. My doctor doesn't carry samples of these. I have been praying and praying and praying and I just am to the point now where I don Please, pray for me, send good thoughts to me, anything. I am so down, in pain daily, still trying to work (no other choice) until I hear from disability which can take years if I even get approved. I try to stay positive and a believer, but right now, it is very hard and I need help. Thank you

I can't say I know how you feel with the fibromyalgia, but I DO suffer from bad headaches from a prior neck injury! I usually have to pop a pill, right when I feel it coming on, because it is too late if I wait. There are times when I just have to lay down. I have had luck with the chiropractor though. Have you researched (I'm sure you have) fibro. and other alternatives? I have heard acupuncture works for a number of things. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I will remember you in my prayers and hope that your pain goes away! Are you the one that just got the job at Keystrokes?

I will say a prayer for your kitty. Does he have dental disease by chance? My vet told me that can cause all of those problems. My siamese was making weird noises with his teeth, brought him to the vet and he needs dental work, poor thing, sore gums and he is eating a good diet too, but dental disease can cause many problems. I have one cat with diabetes, on insulin and just lost my 14 year old due to a cancerous tumor in his little heart, he was my buddy. They become such an integral part of the family and I still look for my cat, who followed me everywhere. Good luck with Calvin, hope his illness can be fixed.

I scheduled basically a faith check/payment for my mortage payment for Wednesday, May 28, but I do not have enough money in the bank to cover it, but I had to schedule the payment or else. I would contact the mortgage company and tell them the situation, that you don If you I think you may have been dealing with an overly aggressive person who only cared about getting the payment and nothing else. Be honest with them. About 10 years ago, I lost a house due to foreclosure so I totally understand what you Back then, there weren I contacted different agencies to find out how to save my house, but they weren We weren't in the mortgage crisis that we're in right now, so I guess they really didn't care. If they Do you have friends or family who could help you? Do whatever you can to save your house! Are there things around the house you can sell? Craigslist is an awesome place to sell stuff. Their website is craigslist.com. It I have purchased from Craigslist, including living room furniture and a lawnmower. If you decide to go this route, make sure you also put a picture of the item on the website. When I go to Craigslist, I only look at the ads that have pictures. It is important to understand that the mortgage company does not want your house. They will work with you. I am not 30 days late yet, but as of the first of June I will be. I would not be that worried about it, but I am finally in this house 3 years and now I can finally refinance after being in one of those nasty subprime mortgages and with any late payments I cannot refinance for any better interest rate than I have right now. I think the situation has been taken care of though, as my son I just had a major financial crash in April and then my hubbie was in the hospital for a week earlier this month and I was unable to work, so that is why I am in the situation I am in right now. I have already though worked out my budget for June and God willing things are actually starting to look up. Thank you again for your kindness and encouraging words. Your message caught my eye, as my little nephew was 8 weeks early and weighed only about 3 pounds at birth. The doc expected to keep him in the hosp. for a month or so, and instead he was released at 3-4 days, just like a fullterm baby. The doc says he is a miracle, and we agree. We know that our prayers have been answered.God is so good!!!! Hope for the same for you! Keep us posted!

Yes, I would be glad to pray for your little love. How very tiny!!! Hope she grows big and strong. They save little tiny babies all the time now, so she will probably be fine. Keep us posted as to her condition. My daughter was born at 30 or 32 weeks and she weighed 3 lb. 10 oz. That was almost 30 years ago, as her B-day is on July 26 and she will be 30-years-old then. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. She was so very tiny and fragile, but they saved her. Of course technology is much more advanced now, so you are lucky for that. Lost my little dog. [2008-04-01]
Need prayers right now. My little Chihuahua was killed by a pit bull. I witnessed this cruel mutilation of Chuy, my little pooch who suffered terriby. We took him to vet, but nothing could be done for him. Vet said there was way too much damage done to his little body. He would never be normal again even if vet could fix some of the wounds. Anyway, I have just been devastated ever since -- about 5 days ago. It is mostly the awful images of him laying there dying that I cannot seem to get out of my head. I hope no one else has to go through this agony as it is almost unbearable. Thank you to all who give their prayers for my dog. I know he is in Heaven now and watched over by Jesus, so no one can harm him anymore -- from that I have some comfort. Thank you for your prayers. SO

Praying for my family. They are all searching and not in agreement with the religion I baptized them in. This is okay with me, I just hope they find their answers. What hurts is that they are not getting it as far as it not being a contest and refusing to step foot into the door of the religion they were baptized in. It won't kill them once in awhile to attend special occasions. I do in their case. I cannot even prepay my own funeral as they are against stepping foot in my church - well, it's not them, it's the ones they married. So sad.

I am praying this morning for B. Spears. The media are all over her again, filming her inside the rescue. She is wrong, dead wrong but I am praying for her and her kids and hope she fully recovers and finds the light. Not jumping on that bandwagon, I have the medical knowledge God gave me and the experience to know she's totally out of control, mostly from her own poor choices but stomped on by society. How can she ever get up if we keep kicking her and stomping on her every move? my little dog! Sounds crazy to some, but he is like my little boy. He is adaschund and is paralyzed in his back legs. If anyone has a daschund and has gone through this, please email me with some hope. He has been at the vet I am a mess. I am cleaning beddingall the time. He cannot get up to urinate or have a BM, but is still doing so. He is eating and drinking, but just drags his back legs. I know surgery could be an option, but I just cannot afford $2-3000. This is hearbreaking for me and my 11yo and 17yo daughters. He is 7 yrs old. So, please pray for my little boy and please pray for God to give me the strength to help him.
