my little dog! Sounds crazy to some, but he is like my little boy. He is adaschund and is paralyzed in his back legs. If anyone has a daschund and has gone through this, please email me with some hope. He has been at the vet I am a mess. I am cleaning beddingall the time. He cannot get up to urinate or have a BM, but is still doing so. He is eating and drinking, but just drags his back legs. I know surgery could be an option, but I just cannot afford $2-3000. This is hearbreaking for me and my 11yo and 17yo daughters. He is 7 yrs old. So, please pray for my little boy and please pray for God to give me the strength to help him. My sisterHodgkin He had so much radiation damage to chest his heart failed at age 43. He was on an artificial heart machine for 3 months and was blessed with a really strong heart donor Because of the anti-rejection meds his kidneys failed in the Spring. He is now in Critical Care Unit for 2 months and having every weird thing happen to him. He is 103 pounds. His new son-in-law is a willing donor and match for kidney transplant if he can pull through this (which is a miracle itself). We feel that prayer has brought him this far along. My sister has taken leave of her job and takes care of him in the hospital every day driving to downtown Los Angeles. Thanks!

She is in the ICU. She is recently widowed after her husband had a difficult time with COPD, so this has been a terrible year for her. She is a wonderful Christian woman, but suffered horrible abuse as a child from her father and uncle and other male family members. She coped with the horrors with alcohol since the age of 12, and finally quit drinking a couple of years ago. I was already worried about her since her husband died, and now there has been all the coverage on TV about the little girl who was abused. She started drinking again, must have stopped again, and suffered DTs and seizures. My husband is there with her in the ICU, and she is very out of it. Please pray for her. Life is so hard I can't make sense of it.

I continue to have chronic pain in my skull, feels like large snakes are pushing out 24/7. No doctor can understand it. Don't know if it is fibro, occipital neuralgia or what. My neuro will not repeat a brain MRI as the one last year was negative. The insurance company has denied another MRI of my neck of which I have had c3-6 laminectomy in 2002 and occipital nerve cut in 2004. Please pray for an answer for me. My neurosurgeon doesn't know what is wrong either and doesn't care. Please pray for my healing as I can hardly go on, also having extreme blurred vision. I cannot even drive anymore. I have worked for many years at home for one of our local hospitals. We have full benefits, etc, etc. Tomorrow morning, we have been called in for a meeting where we are sure to be laid-off, fired, or whatever you want to call it. Our hospital hired a company to find ways to save them money. When I looked this company up on the internet I discovered that they totally specialize in outsourcing transcription to places like India. I have been doing medical transcription for close to 25 years, so I am not a young person. On looking around, I see that I cannot make the money that I am used to making, and medical insurance will be a thing of the past for me. The sad thing is - I have a child with a chronic illness that requires regular care for the rest of his life! Oh, did I mention that I am single, so there is no other income!!! Please pray for us. I have no idea in the world what will happen to us.

My dog CJ is sick. He's not breathing right. As I mentioned elsewhere, chest x-ray showed pneumothorax, but the vet didn't put a tube in - he wants a specialist to see him. There were some shadows over his lungs they saw 5 days ago, but now the x-rays show pneumothorax and the vet is guessing lung cancer. CJ is only 6. Siberians are supposed to be healthy and I already lost Misha at Christmas, so I called the breeders. They want me to take him to another vet one of them has used. I have school and can't miss that, but DH can take him in the morning. Please pray the first vet is wrong and it's just a spontaneous pneumothorax or something curable. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves his mama.

My father died 13 years ago (colon cancer), and my mother died 2 years ago (multiple health problems/ultimate liver failure). My husband I just got a call last night that my uncle is dying of liver failure; he has maybe days to live (my mother My son is performing today at school for a little school idol competition, and I feel like I have no one to call and come see. You are not alone. My husband works a lot too. My kids are 13 and 8 and I stand strong for them. I will pray for you that you too can get over this tough time. I still try to laugh and still need to cry, but I am moving forward and you will too! That baby needs you more than ever and cry when the baby cries, it helps! No matter how silly that sounds. A good cry does wonders. I have faith, but do not attend church. I Sometimes I just listen to religious music (Alan Jackson is my favorite) and it helps soothe me to know that God is with us. He gives us troubles to keep us strong. I will certainly pray that you can move up and on and congrats on the new baby (even if he is six months old). What a joy to have a little one who is healthy and can bring things into perspective for you! Take care, God Bless, and you are definitely not alone in wondering why everyone has been taken from me. Prayers needed ASAP! [2008-05-13]
Please say a prayer for my dear friend Sharif. He was just diagnosed with an 8.5 x 9.7-cm mass on his left kidney with 5 or 6 enlarged lymph nodes or soft tissue nodules adjacent to the mass. I took him to the chief surgeon of the urology oncology division at UCLA today, and we found out that he also has a congenital anomaly called a horseshoe kidney. Both his left and right kidneys are fused together forming a horseshoe shape across the center of his body. This will make the surgery much more complicated, as they will have to carefully separate the kidneys before they can begin removal of the left kidney and large tumor. Before they can do the surgery, he will need medical clearance and a chest CT to make sure that the cancer has not metastasized into his lungs. He is a wonderful young man and every prayer will help! I just can't imagine losing him and am praying for a miracle! Thank you in advance for any prayers you are able to send his way!

The doc expected to keep him in the hosp. for a month or so, and instead he was released at 3-4 days, just like a fullterm baby. The doc says he is a miracle, and we agree. Yes, I would be glad to pray for your little love. How very tiny!!! Hope she grows big and strong. They save little tiny babies all the time now, so she will probably be fine. Keep us posted as to her condition. My daughter was born at 30 or 32 weeks and she weighed 3 lb. 10 oz. That was almost 30 years ago, as her B-day is on July 26 and she will be 30-years-old then. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. She was so very tiny and fragile, but they saved her. Of course technology is much more advanced now, so you are lucky for that. prayer, please include this request. Yesterday afternoon about 5:15 I left my wallet laying on the regist at Wal-Mart. The cashier mistakenly gave my wallet to the lady behind me in the checkout line. She saw the wallet laying there after that lady had checked and just automatically assumed that it was hers and took it to her in the parking lot. The poor girl didn Management went back and looked at the video and are pretty sure it was my wallet. The other lady did pay out of a wallet that looked similar to it, but they could see another wallet laying on a different part of the checkout the entire time, so they I have taken the necessary precaution of reporting the 1 credit card I had in there and will call my bank this morning to report my debit card as lost and put a stop payment on 3 checks that were in there. I didn And, of course, my wallet and my social security card are in there, too. Please help me pray and trust that this lady will be honest and return that wallet if, indeed, it is mine. Thanks.
