and went today. It sounds exciting and different and I said I was interested and would talk to my hubby. The pay isn't bad, but isn't great, but it's hourly and the people who work there seem wonderful, I'd be up and moving around, doing inventory of a horticultural nature, and have great benefits. Two days off at Thanksgiving & Christmas, among others. Free plants that aren't good enough to ship, and that's my luxury expense currently, so that would be a biggie in itself. I think I want to take it. Please pray for guidance in this matter. I'm so burned out on working at home, isolated, that this sounds good to me.

She worked for Spear-Us, as she called them. Her husband had cancer, was on her benefits. Trying to take care of him, take him for chemo, she lost her benefits because she didn Thenshe put her car up for one of those title loans and lost her car. Then her husband passed away. Then Katrina hit her state. Then she had a CABG. Then she broke her wrist. Now she is having a nephrectomy this week for a tumor that was found incidentally on an abdominal CT scan because she has diverticulitis. Please keep her in your prayers. Prayers needed ASAP! [2008-05-13]
Please say a prayer for my dear friend Sharif. He was just diagnosed with an 8.5 x 9.7-cm mass on his left kidney with 5 or 6 enlarged lymph nodes or soft tissue nodules adjacent to the mass. I took him to the chief surgeon of the urology oncology division at UCLA today, and we found out that he also has a congenital anomaly called a horseshoe kidney. Both his left and right kidneys are fused together forming a horseshoe shape across the center of his body. This will make the surgery much more complicated, as they will have to carefully separate the kidneys before they can begin removal of the left kidney and large tumor. Before they can do the surgery, he will need medical clearance and a chest CT to make sure that the cancer has not metastasized into his lungs. He is a wonderful young man and every prayer will help! I just can't imagine losing him and am praying for a miracle! Thank you in advance for any prayers you are able to send his way!

She went to visit the family of her baby, Alex, who is 5 months old on Christmas day and the father wouldn When she tried to get the baby from him, he pushed her, lost his balance and the baby hit his head. They blamed it all on her and called the police who arrested her and sent her to jail on Christmas day. We got her out the next day, but didn Had to get an emergency court order to get the baby back as he is breast fed. Our bills for the lawyer alone were over $2000, bond $500, and now she has to hire lawyer again for another $1200 to fight the battery charge they placed on her. We are broke and she is afraid she may lose the baby if we don We need prayers desparately. Cpr

My other mother just called to tell me that one of my father It sounds like it is going to be a total loss. We assume no one has been hurt, but that has not been confirmed yet. I know it is just a building, but all of these employees will now be out of a job for some time. It is going to be really hard for them. Please keep all these people in your prayers.

and especially the link to the All Kids Program. I am checking into that. I did hear that it was a good program and that we probably would qualify in this situation. As far as the outsourcing situation - we were offered positions with tne outsourcing company called WebMedX. I live payday to payday as it is, so I hope that I can at least make what I'm used to making, but I used to get overtime work at the hospital - now, even though I'm grateful to have been offered a position, I'm scared that my pay will decrease. ugh

PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!! [2007-09-04]
I have worked for many years at home for one of our local hospitals. We have full benefits, etc, etc. Tomorrow morning, we have been called in for a meeting where we are sure to be laid-off, fired, or whatever you want to call it. Our hospital hired a company to find ways to save them money. When I looked this company up on the internet I discovered that they totally specialize in outsourcing transcription to places like India. I have been doing medical transcription for close to 25 years, so I am not a young person. On looking around, I see that I cannot make the money that I am used to making, and medical insurance will be a thing of the past for me. The sad thing is - I have a child with a chronic illness that requires regular care for the rest of his life! Oh, did I mention that I am single, so there is no other income!!! Please pray for us. I have no idea in the world what will happen to us.

Please pray for CJ [2007-08-22]
My dog CJ is sick. He's not breathing right. As I mentioned elsewhere, chest x-ray showed pneumothorax, but the vet didn't put a tube in - he wants a specialist to see him. There were some shadows over his lungs they saw 5 days ago, but now the x-rays show pneumothorax and the vet is guessing lung cancer. CJ is only 6. Siberians are supposed to be healthy and I already lost Misha at Christmas, so I called the breeders. They want me to take him to another vet one of them has used. I have school and can't miss that, but DH can take him in the morning. Please pray the first vet is wrong and it's just a spontaneous pneumothorax or something curable. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves his mama.

Prayer request for my mom [2007-06-11]
She and my stepdad have had marital problems for years, they have been married for 12 and 1/2 almost 13 years. Today she called me and said she had had enough and asked for my help. So she is at my house with 3 of my nieces and nephews and headed to my brother Prayers for this situation would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Update [2007-05-27]
Had my colonoscopy and biopsy on Wednesday last week. The doctor went out and told my mom and brother that he was almost positive the polyp (about the size of a 50 cent piece) was malignant. He told them he had never seen one that large that wasn He askedmom if I had a surgeon I would prefer because I was going to have to have an exploratory lap, partial colectomy, and probably a colostomy because of the location of the polyp.He called my family doctor and gave him the report of the procedure. Well, DRUMROLL!!! The doctor called me Thursday afternoon. The biopsy was benign!!!!!!! Whoohoo!! Praise the Lord God!!!!!!!!!! He told me he was very suprised, but pleased. Then he said, that just goes to show that someone else is in charge besides me! I will have to be watched very closely, but I can deal with that. Now onward and upward! Thank you so much for praying for me!

Prayer for my grandfather [2007-04-23]
My dad just called me and said my grandfather had a stroke and is in the ER. He is in his 80s and has had many health problems, many open heart surgeries as well as prior strokes. This stroke has effected the side uneffected by other strokes. I am just at a lost as to what to pray other than God Thanks so much for any prayers!!!! God bless you all.
