She worked for Spear-Us, as she called them. Her husband had cancer, was on her benefits. Trying to take care of him, take him for chemo, she lost her benefits because she didn Thenshe put her car up for one of those title loans and lost her car. Then her husband passed away. Then Katrina hit her state. Then she had a CABG. Then she broke her wrist. Now she is having a nephrectomy this week for a tumor that was found incidentally on an abdominal CT scan because she has diverticulitis. Please keep her in your prayers. Lonna is a beautiful young stewardess and mother of a lovely 12-year-old daughter. She has a very aggressive and virulent lung cancer that has spread throughout her body. After a noble fight, she is currently in hospice care to keep her comfortable during her final days. Please pray that Lonna will be kept pain free, comfortable, and at peace until the lord takes her from this earth. She is a wonderful, loving, mother, sister, daughter, and friend who does not deserve to suffer during the final days of her life. Our Family in ང [2008-07-23]
Dear readers, I am coming to this board in desperate need of thoughtful prayer. 2008 has been a tough year for my family and I. First, our horse rescue ( a non-profit org) went under (there is LOW interest in helping abandoned horses since the economy tumbled.) And somehow during all that mess, someone had the awful timing to also physically assault both my (wonder perfect, non-volent, well-loved, and respected)parents, resulting in a long ER visit. Then my stepfather's father had a rather seious stroke, which was then followed by my uncle's mother also having a very serious stroke.. having done my best to maintain a less-than-glum outlook on life, I am now on the verge of crisis. My paternal grandmother, one of my closest friends and loved ones, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spead to the spine. The survival rate is less than a 2% chance of living past 8 months. Having just started online MT school, I am, at least, very thankful for the wonderful joy that this studying has brought me. But I don't want school to become such a crutch for me that I neglect being there for/with my family. Everyone is hanging in there and staying positive, but a little prayer would boost spirits very high right now.. and my family needs that oh so bad. I went through the same thing. [2008-06-02]
My father died 13 years ago (colon cancer), and my mother died 2 years ago (multiple health problems/ultimate liver failure). My husband I just got a call last night that my uncle is dying of liver failure; he has maybe days to live (my mother My son is performing today at school for a little school idol competition, and I feel like I have no one to call and come see. You are not alone. My husband works a lot too. My kids are 13 and 8 and I stand strong for them. I will pray for you that you too can get over this tough time. I still try to laugh and still need to cry, but I am moving forward and you will too! That baby needs you more than ever and cry when the baby cries, it helps! No matter how silly that sounds. A good cry does wonders. I have faith, but do not attend church. I Sometimes I just listen to religious music (Alan Jackson is my favorite) and it helps soothe me to know that God is with us. He gives us troubles to keep us strong. I will certainly pray that you can move up and on and congrats on the new baby (even if he is six months old). What a joy to have a little one who is healthy and can bring things into perspective for you! Take care, God Bless, and you are definitely not alone in wondering why everyone has been taken from me. My 8-year-old daughter is still struggling with my Mom I also know the feeling of unconditional love from parents, and there (Hugs.)

Need prayer [2008-06-01]
I need prayer. I am having a difficult time right now. You see, I lost my brother in 2001 in a car accident. Right after that, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. He took chemo and did fairly well, but in April 2006 my mother was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and she passed away on 05/16/06. She was my best friend. My fatheron 07/15/06. I think he pretty much died of a broken heart. The week after his funeral, I found out I was pregnant but I miscarried in August. In the beginning everyone is there for you and around you and now I feel like I have no one. I do now have a 6 month old baby boy and I am married and I am thankful for my baby and husband. I am a religious person and have just recently started going back to church, but I still have a hard time understanding why my whole family has been taken away from me. I am just having a hard time. My hubby works a lot and it is just me and the baby. My baby cries a lot and demands a lot of attention and I feel like if I just had my parents, things would be so much easier. I feel so alone. If it was not for my little boy, I do not know where I would be right now. I just keep saying to myself that I have to get it together to raise my child, but it is still so hard. When you lose your parents, you lose the two important people that will love you no matter what and that would do just about anything for you (at least my parents were like this). Just remember mein your prayers please.

Prayers needed ASAP! [2008-05-13]
Please say a prayer for my dear friend Sharif. He was just diagnosed with an 8.5 x 9.7-cm mass on his left kidney with 5 or 6 enlarged lymph nodes or soft tissue nodules adjacent to the mass. I took him to the chief surgeon of the urology oncology division at UCLA today, and we found out that he also has a congenital anomaly called a horseshoe kidney. Both his left and right kidneys are fused together forming a horseshoe shape across the center of his body. This will make the surgery much more complicated, as they will have to carefully separate the kidneys before they can begin removal of the left kidney and large tumor. Before they can do the surgery, he will need medical clearance and a chest CT to make sure that the cancer has not metastasized into his lungs. He is a wonderful young man and every prayer will help! I just can't imagine losing him and am praying for a miracle! Thank you in advance for any prayers you are able to send his way!

prayer for 3-year-old [2008-05-02]
Any of you who believes in prayer, please pray for a 3-year-old little girl who was just diagnosed with cancer (I believe rhabdomyosarcoma) Stage IV. The last I heard was that there were tumors all over her and all she ever complained of was leg pain. She is in ST. Judes in Memphis. Thanks a lot all of you. I have seen miraculous healings in the past. But, I am sure I will get a lot of flack about this. Thanks anyway!

I wish I could give you more details, but Donna is a school teacher who has cancer in the lungs and colon but still teaches. She goes to Boston for therapy.I went to school with her mom many years ago and told her I would pray for her. I hope God gives Ann (her mom) and Donna (the patient) strength and recovery.

prayer for mom [2007-12-14]
Hello Please pray for my mom who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has been operated on and is set to start chemo next week for about the next five months. She has already lost so much weight and is already so frail so I pray that she will make it through the horrible chemo. I lost my dad two years ago to Alzheimer This has been so devastating to all of us and I am praying for strength for me and my family as well as we deal with this and to help us pull mom through all of this. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but hopefully with prayer we will get through this one day at a time and have a very good outcome. I appreciate any and all prayers. Thanks so much.

My daughter (married) is experiencing bleeding and light clotting in between her normal menstral cycles. The doctor said it She is also diabetic.Remember Pastor Dennis, tests revealed spots on his lungs, further tests have been done. Pray it Thank you.

Please pray for my gramma Lois [2007-10-17]
Her lungs are full of cancer and she has less than 2 weeks to live. She fell and broke her hip and they cannot do surgery because she won't make it through with her lungs so full of cancer. She is a Christian and knows the Lord so please pray that Jesus would take her quickly. Thanks in advance.. In Christ.. Jan

I was in that same situation....ONLY.... [2007-09-06]
I developed breast cancer and I believe it was from Clomid (although no one will tell me that). I was 35 at the time...now 46 and everything is fine. I know God didn't give me cancer, but I think it was a wakeup call from him telling me that I had a wonderful life and that if children are part of His plan for me, it will happen. I was obscessed with getting pregnant back then, but after the BC, I decided to focus on the life I had and I am very happy to be alive! If you are meant to have children, you will have them - either biologically or through adoption. May God Bless You!! If it is in his will, I believe you will conceive. My prayer for you is that God blesses you and gives you peace while you wait. :)

The second vet office was MUCH more [2007-08-25]
helpful. They were able to do an ultrasound. When looking at the chest x-rays, they could clearly see the pneumothorax on the very first film. Because they had a series of studies, they were able to see changes that meant the shadows were NOT cancer. CJ did have a pneumothorax, and they treated it by putting in a chest tube. They also gave pain medication. We won't be going back to that first vet office. They don't seem to handle this kind of emergency well at all. In fact I'm going to try to get my money back for the first visit where they only took a chest x-ray at my insistance, and then they missed the correct diagnosis of pneumothorax. Which is so dumb when I went in there saying he was in respiratory distress and that first vet said I was wrong, that he had gastric distress and I needed to stick strictly to dog food. CJ still has the chest tube in, so we are attempting to drain out more air as instructed thru the stopcock, but not having much success. But CJ is smiling and eating and drinking again, so we are quite happy and relieved.

My dog CJ is sick. He's not breathing right. As I mentioned elsewhere, chest x-ray showed pneumothorax, but the vet didn't put a tube in - he wants a specialist to see him. There were some shadows over his lungs they saw 5 days ago, but now the x-rays show pneumothorax and the vet is guessing lung cancer. CJ is only 6. Siberians are supposed to be healthy and I already lost Misha at Christmas, so I called the breeders. They want me to take him to another vet one of them has used. I have school and can't miss that, but DH can take him in the morning. Please pray the first vet is wrong and it's just a spontaneous pneumothorax or something curable. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves his mama.

Prayer request [2007-05-14]
Good evening, all. I I have been having some health issues for the last few years that have snowballed over the last couple of months. In the last 3 weeks I During the procedure the urologist did a more thorough exam under anesthesia and felt a definite mass in my colon! This may be what has been causing issues with my stomach the last few months. I have to see a GI doctor tomorrow to schedule a colonoscopy. My grandmother had colon cancer, so there is a family history, and I am really scared. I would appreciate your prayers.

We just found out yesterday that a child at my son He will need to undergo 25 cycles of radiation plus chemo. He Please pray for this family and please ask everyone you know to put them in their prayer chains...PLEASE! They are also having some financial struggles due to his mom Our school is collecting money to help out, so please remember this in your prayers that everyone will find it in their hearts to give as much as possible to help this sweet little boy.
