Lost my little dog. [2008-04-01]
Need prayers right now. My little Chihuahua was killed by a pit bull. I witnessed this cruel mutilation of Chuy, my little pooch who suffered terriby. We took him to vet, but nothing could be done for him. Vet said there was way too much damage done to his little body. He would never be normal again even if vet could fix some of the wounds. Anyway, I have just been devastated ever since -- about 5 days ago. It is mostly the awful images of him laying there dying that I cannot seem to get out of my head. I hope no one else has to go through this agony as it is almost unbearable. Thank you to all who give their prayers for my dog. I know he is in Heaven now and watched over by Jesus, so no one can harm him anymore -- from that I have some comfort. Thank you for your prayers. SO

She worked for Spear-Us, as she called them. Her husband had cancer, was on her benefits. Trying to take care of him, take him for chemo, she lost her benefits because she didn Thenshe put her car up for one of those title loans and lost her car. Then her husband passed away. Then Katrina hit her state. Then she had a CABG. Then she broke her wrist. Now she is having a nephrectomy this week for a tumor that was found incidentally on an abdominal CT scan because she has diverticulitis. Please keep her in your prayers. I will say a prayer for your kitty. Does he have dental disease by chance? My vet told me that can cause all of those problems. My siamese was making weird noises with his teeth, brought him to the vet and he needs dental work, poor thing, sore gums and he is eating a good diet too, but dental disease can cause many problems. I have one cat with diabetes, on insulin and just lost my 14 year old due to a cancerous tumor in his little heart, he was my buddy. They become such an integral part of the family and I still look for my cat, who followed me everywhere. Good luck with Calvin, hope his illness can be fixed.

Prayers for those affected by the midwest floods [2008-06-20]
I actually live in Lincoln County, Missouri but am more to the central part of the county. I have a lot of family and friends that live along the Mississippi River that have lost their belongings or are facing damage leftover by these floods. Please prayer for them as well as the farmers whose crops have been destroyed. Please also be praying for the thousands of men and woman of the Army Reserve and Army National Guard who are desperately working to save these small river towns. They are not much but to some they areall they have. Thank you.....

I lost both of my parents within the same year as well when I was fairly young - just havingyoung children like yourselfand I really needed them. I stand, walk, and live in faith. In hard timesI pick up the Bible, pray, read, I grab ahold of the Cross I wear around my neck, which I guess it is my way of reminding me how much I am blessed and this helps.I still miss my parents and I know I always will. Need prayer [2008-06-01]
I need prayer. I am having a difficult time right now. You see, I lost my brother in 2001 in a car accident. Right after that, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. He took chemo and did fairly well, but in April 2006 my mother was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and she passed away on 05/16/06. She was my best friend. My fatheron 07/15/06. I think he pretty much died of a broken heart. The week after his funeral, I found out I was pregnant but I miscarried in August. In the beginning everyone is there for you and around you and now I feel like I have no one. I do now have a 6 month old baby boy and I am married and I am thankful for my baby and husband. I am a religious person and have just recently started going back to church, but I still have a hard time understanding why my whole family has been taken away from me. I am just having a hard time. My hubby works a lot and it is just me and the baby. My baby cries a lot and demands a lot of attention and I feel like if I just had my parents, things would be so much easier. I feel so alone. If it was not for my little boy, I do not know where I would be right now. I just keep saying to myself that I have to get it together to raise my child, but it is still so hard. When you lose your parents, you lose the two important people that will love you no matter what and that would do just about anything for you (at least my parents were like this). Just remember mein your prayers please.

About 10 years ago, I lost a house due to foreclosure so I totally understand what you Back then, there weren I contacted different agencies to find out how to save my house, but they weren We weren't in the mortgage crisis that we're in right now, so I guess they really didn't care. If they Do you have friends or family who could help you? Do whatever you can to save your house! Are there things around the house you can sell? Craigslist is an awesome place to sell stuff. Their website is craigslist.com. It I have purchased from Craigslist, including living room furniture and a lawnmower. If you decide to go this route, make sure you also put a picture of the item on the website. When I go to Craigslist, I only look at the ads that have pictures. It is important to understand that the mortgage company does not want your house. They will work with you. Tornados in Wisconsin [2008-01-10]
Please say a prayer for those people who lost their homes and belongings this past Monday due to the tornados here in Wisconsin. There are about 12 houses that were completely destroyed just down the road from me. I saw them right after it happened - it is absolutely devastating. We suffered damages to our home, but it is still standing - we are so very lucky. Our neighborhood will takeweeks to rebuild, but for those poorpeople who lost everything, it will take months upon months before theywill be back to any type of normalcy. Thank you for your prayers.

She went to visit the family of her baby, Alex, who is 5 months old on Christmas day and the father wouldn When she tried to get the baby from him, he pushed her, lost his balance and the baby hit his head. They blamed it all on her and called the police who arrested her and sent her to jail on Christmas day. We got her out the next day, but didn Had to get an emergency court order to get the baby back as he is breast fed. Our bills for the lawyer alone were over $2000, bond $500, and now she has to hire lawyer again for another $1200 to fight the battery charge they placed on her. prayer, please include this request. Yesterday afternoon about 5:15 I left my wallet laying on the regist at Wal-Mart. The cashier mistakenly gave my wallet to the lady behind me in the checkout line. She saw the wallet laying there after that lady had checked and just automatically assumed that it was hers and took it to her in the parking lot. The poor girl didn Management went back and looked at the video and are pretty sure it was my wallet. The other lady did pay out of a wallet that looked similar to it, but they could see another wallet laying on a different part of the checkout the entire time, so they I have taken the necessary precaution of reporting the 1 credit card I had in there and will call my bank this morning to report my debit card as lost and put a stop payment on 3 checks that were in there. I didn And, of course, my wallet and my social security card are in there, too. Please help me pray and trust that this lady will be honest and return that wallet if, indeed, it is mine. Thanks. Hello Please pray for my mom who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has been operated on and is set to start chemo next week for about the next five months. She has already lost so much weight and is already so frail so I pray that she will make it through the horrible chemo. I lost my dad two years ago to Alzheimer This has been so devastating to all of us and I am praying for strength for me and my family as well as we deal with this and to help us pull mom through all of this. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but hopefully with prayer we will get through this one day at a time and have a very good outcome. I appreciate any and all prayers. Thanks so much.

Unbelievable family tragedy...please say a prayer. [2007-11-06]
I have to make a long story short here. We just need all of the prayers that we can find. God is the only one that can see us through this tragedy. My sister-in-law is married for the second time with 7 children. Six of them are from her first marriage and the last child was born out of wedlock. They range in ages from 23 to 6. She was married to a man who she claimed was extremely abusive and ended up leaving him approximately 7 years ago. She remarried an alcoholic. A really bad alcoholic. He did end up adopting the youngest son, the one that has a different father - one in which left my sister-in-law when he found out she was pregnant. He has been very threatening to her and her family for the past 3-4 years, since they have been married. These are really horrible threats to kill or harm. He has even landed in jail because of them. I know she felt lost and alone. He has got a really horrible disease and needs help but doesn Her husband was brutally attacked the other night and left for dead. Somehow, he did not die but managed to call 911 and get help. It turns out that my sister-in-law had planned this attack and asked a friend to execute it. They have both been arrested and are sitting in jail. They are both charged with attempted homicide. These 5 kids are at my mother-in-laware of age and live on their own, but they are in town, and understandably devastated.) I feel so horrible and helpless - those poor babies. PLEASE pray for them and for my husband The only thing I can think regarding my sister-in-law is she felt if she left him, he would come for her and her children and kill them all. He has threatened that before. I greatly appreciate your prayers.

Please pray for my son. He has just lost a second job this yeardue to slowing in his industry and has no benefits left (family). I know there are worse things going on in the world to pray for, but I am getting no sleep and worrying how they are going to pay their bills, etc., as the job market is very slow in this area. He is willing to take anything, but he needs to keep his home and family,. You all know what that is like, I'm sure. He has so much stress that he is depressed and so am I. MOM of 2 boys. Mary, you are such a good mother, I can tell how much you love your children, for it is first and foremost in your post....please know that many of us here have been in similar situations; a while back, I was extremely ill with a problem pregnancy, my 6th (but I had lost 30, my company went under suddently and I lost my job, my husband lost HIS long-time job and our medical benefits, we were behind on mortgage, utilities, etc, and already had 2 other little tots to care for....we both prayed so hard, as did some of our friends and family, and slowly, everything got better, in God's time. My husband got recalled from his job, I gave birth to a huge, beautiful, perfect baby boy, I got a job with the best company I had ever been with, and all was finally being taken care of.....I pray in the holy, sacred name of Jesus, Lord and saviour of all, to uphold you and keep you in the indescribable warmth and safety of his embrace, and that He pour upon you the gifts of the Holy Spirit of strength, wisdom, faith, love, and discernment, and that He bless you more than you can even realize.....only our Lord can, and WILL do that, just keep up the faith, and please feel free to e-mail me ANYTIME!! Please pray for CJ [2007-08-22]
My dog CJ is sick. He's not breathing right. As I mentioned elsewhere, chest x-ray showed pneumothorax, but the vet didn't put a tube in - he wants a specialist to see him. There were some shadows over his lungs they saw 5 days ago, but now the x-rays show pneumothorax and the vet is guessing lung cancer. CJ is only 6. Siberians are supposed to be healthy and I already lost Misha at Christmas, so I called the breeders. They want me to take him to another vet one of them has used. I have school and can't miss that, but DH can take him in the morning. Please pray the first vet is wrong and it's just a spontaneous pneumothorax or something curable. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves his mama.

Update: Funeral arrangements and viewing took place [2007-08-14]
on Sunday. Jim is out of the hospital and doing as good as can be expected. His lungs were badly burned. They lost everything and the fire company and other volunteer groups have set up benefits to help them get a new start and the bankset up afund to help, but I donLisa and her son.

Prayer for my grandfather [2007-04-23]
My dad just called me and said my grandfather had a stroke and is in the ER. He is in his 80s and has had many health problems, many open heart surgeries as well as prior strokes. This stroke has effected the side uneffected by other strokes. I am just at a lost as to what to pray other than God Thanks so much for any prayers!!!! God bless you all.
