Pray for people everywhere to vote for the future of this great country, to vote for our future, for the future of our children and our grandchildren. There can be only one choice, and that is the choice of one who has experienced so much in his life. God blesses his people. Not a man, not a group of people telling us what we should do. Please pray for the safe return of a very good friend of mine, nephew who with three other sailors has been missing since September 28, 2008 when a typhoon hit their ship in Taiwan while delivering a vessel to Japan. I am sure many of you know the cost of in vitro is prohibitive as insurance does not pay. This couple will make wonderful, loving parents,and this baby will be raised in a stable, loving environment. To lose this pregnancy after all they have gone through to achieve it would be devastating to them and to my friend, who so desperately wants to see her daughter's dream of motherhood become reality. Please include a prayer that she can carry this pregnancy to term and have the opportunity to be a mom. Thank you all so much.

Need prayer [2008-06-01]
I need prayer. I am having a difficult time right now. You see, I lost my brother in 2001 in a car accident. Right after that, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. He took chemo and did fairly well, but in April 2006 my mother was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and she passed away on 05/16/06. She was my best friend. My fatheron 07/15/06. I think he pretty much died of a broken heart. The week after his funeral, I found out I was pregnant but I miscarried in August. In the beginning everyone is there for you and around you and now I feel like I have no one. I do now have a 6 month old baby boy and I am married and I am thankful for my baby and husband. I am a religious person and have just recently started going back to church, but I still have a hard time understanding why my whole family has been taken away from me. I am just having a hard time. My hubby works a lot and it is just me and the baby. My baby cries a lot and demands a lot of attention and I feel like if I just had my parents, things would be so much easier. I feel so alone. If it was not for my little boy, I do not know where I would be right now. I just keep saying to myself that I have to get it together to raise my child, but it is still so hard. When you lose your parents, you lose the two important people that will love you no matter what and that would do just about anything for you (at least my parents were like this). Just remember mein your prayers please.

I normally do not do this, but I really need some help with my faith. I scheduled basically a faith check/payment for my mortage payment for Wednesday, May 28, but I do not have enough money in the bank to cover it, but I had to schedule the payment or else. I have prayed about this and am standing on God I am just asking for a prayer for strength and a financial breakthrough. I would contact the mortgage company and tell them the situation, that you don If you I think you may have been dealing with an overly aggressive person who only cared about getting the payment and nothing else. Be honest with them. About 10 years ago, I lost a house due to foreclosure so I totally understand what you Back then, there weren I contacted different agencies to find out how to save my house, but they weren We weren't in the mortgage crisis that we're in right now, so I guess they really didn't care. If they Do you have friends or family who could help you? Do whatever you can to save your house! Are there things around the house you can sell? Craigslist is an awesome place to sell stuff. Their website is craigslist.com. It I have purchased from Craigslist, including living room furniture and a lawnmower. If you decide to go this route, make sure you also put a picture of the item on the website. When I go to Craigslist, I only look at the ads that have pictures. It is important to understand that the mortgage company does not want your house. They will work with you. Sometimes mortgage companies will let you put a past due payment onto the back of the mortgage which could make you current. Feel free to email me if you'd like!

They blamed it all on her and called the police who arrested her and sent her to jail on Christmas day. We got her out the next day, but didn Had to get an emergency court order to get the baby back as he is breast fed. Our bills for the lawyer alone were over $2000, bond $500, and now she has to hire lawyer again for another $1200 to fight the battery charge they placed on her. She has already lost so much weight and is already so frail so I pray that she will make it through the horrible chemo. I lost my dad two years ago to Alzheimer This has been so devastating to all of us and I am praying for strength for me and my family as well as we deal with this and to help us pull mom through all of this. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but hopefully with prayer we will get through this one day at a time and have a very good outcome. I appreciate any and all prayers. Thanks so much.

I just started a new chapter in my life. I am transitioning from medical transcription to medical coding. I start school TOMORROW. I'm really nervous and anxious to get started, but very excited as well. Any support would be appreciated as this is very stressful for me and I could use a good support network! I will say a prayer for your kitty. Does he have dental disease by chance? My vet told me that can cause all of those problems. My siamese was making weird noises with his teeth, brought him to the vet and he needs dental work, poor thing, sore gums and he is eating a good diet too, but dental disease can cause many problems. I have one cat with diabetes, on insulin and just lost my 14 year old due to a cancerous tumor in his little heart, he was my buddy. They become such an integral part of the family and I still look for my cat, who followed me everywhere. Good luck with Calvin, hope his illness can be fixed.

Dear readers, I am coming to this board in desperate need of thoughtful prayer. 2008 has been a tough year for my family and I. First, our horse rescue ( a non-profit org) went under (there is LOW interest in helping abandoned horses since the economy tumbled.) And somehow during all that mess, someone had the awful timing to also physically assault both my (wonder perfect, non-volent, well-loved, and respected)parents, resulting in a long ER visit. Then my stepfather's father had a rather seious stroke, which was then followed by my uncle's mother also having a very serious stroke.. having done my best to maintain a less-than-glum outlook on life, I am now on the verge of crisis. My paternal grandmother, one of my closest friends and loved ones, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spead to the spine. The survival rate is less than a 2% chance of living past 8 months. Having just started online MT school, I am, at least, very thankful for the wonderful joy that this studying has brought me. But I don't want school to become such a crutch for me that I neglect being there for/with my family. Everyone is hanging in there and staying positive, but a little prayer would boost spirits very high right now.. and my family needs that oh so bad. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your prayers and positive thoughts.

I actually live in Lincoln County, Missouri but am more to the central part of the county. I have a lot of family and friends that live along the Mississippi River that have lost their belongings or are facing damage leftover by these floods. Please prayer for them as well as the farmers whose crops have been destroyed. Please also be praying for the thousands of men and woman of the Army Reserve and Army National Guard who are desperately working to save these small river towns. They are not much but to some they areall they have. Thank you.....

Prayers needed ASAP! [2008-05-13]
Please say a prayer for my dear friend Sharif. He was just diagnosed with an 8.5 x 9.7-cm mass on his left kidney with 5 or 6 enlarged lymph nodes or soft tissue nodules adjacent to the mass. I took him to the chief surgeon of the urology oncology division at UCLA today, and we found out that he also has a congenital anomaly called a horseshoe kidney. Both his left and right kidneys are fused together forming a horseshoe shape across the center of his body. This will make the surgery much more complicated, as they will have to carefully separate the kidneys before they can begin removal of the left kidney and large tumor. Before they can do the surgery, he will need medical clearance and a chest CT to make sure that the cancer has not metastasized into his lungs. He is a wonderful young man and every prayer will help! I just can't imagine losing him and am praying for a miracle! Thank you in advance for any prayers you are able to send his way!

My niece had her baby girl today, 10 weeks early. Her name is Lillianna and she weighs 2 lbs., 8 oz. The Dr, said she was strong, and she's breathing on her own right now, but the next 3 days will tell more. Could you please say a prayer for little Lillianna if you have a moment? Thank you, guys.

Tornados in Wisconsin [2008-01-10]
Please say a prayer for those people who lost their homes and belongings this past Monday due to the tornados here in Wisconsin. There are about 12 houses that were completely destroyed just down the road from me. I saw them right after it happened - it is absolutely devastating. We suffered damages to our home, but it is still standing - we are so very lucky. Our neighborhood will takeweeks to rebuild, but for those poorpeople who lost everything, it will take months upon months before theywill be back to any type of normalcy. Thank you for your prayers.

prayer, please include this request. Yesterday afternoon about 5:15 I left my wallet laying on the regist at Wal-Mart. The cashier mistakenly gave my wallet to the lady behind me in the checkout line. She saw the wallet laying there after that lady had checked and just automatically assumed that it was hers and took it to her in the parking lot. The poor girl didn Management went back and looked at the video and are pretty sure it was my wallet. The other lady did pay out of a wallet that looked similar to it, but they could see another wallet laying on a different part of the checkout the entire time, so they I have taken the necessary precaution of reporting the 1 credit card I had in there and will call my bank this morning to report my debit card as lost and put a stop payment on 3 checks that were in there. I didn And, of course, my wallet and my social security card are in there, too. Please help me pray and trust that this lady will be honest and return that wallet if, indeed, it is mine. Thanks. My sisterHodgkin He had so much radiation damage to chest his heart failed at age 43. He was on an artificial heart machine for 3 months and was blessed with a really strong heart donor Because of the anti-rejection meds his kidneys failed in the Spring. He is now in Critical Care Unit for 2 months and having every weird thing happen to him. He is 103 pounds. His new son-in-law is a willing donor and match for kidney transplant if he can pull through this (which is a miracle itself). We feel that prayer has brought him this far along. My sister has taken leave of her job and takes care of him in the hospital every day driving to downtown Los Angeles. Thanks!

Rev. Amy Johnson was horribly harassed (mentally and physically) by the principal of a new School District in which she recently resigned. He told her (privately) that he was trying to make her quit. She is not the only one he's done this to. She is an excellent teacher with many years of experience. She was readily rehired by her old School District. She has made a formal complaint, but the principal is fighting back and is trying to have her teaching credentials taken away. He does not admit his guilt. Please lift her up in prayer.
