I hate it when (feel free to add your own) [2008-10-10]
When you get the kitchen completely cleaned up and forget the crockpot (dirty) on the other counter. arrrrgh
I hate ... [2008-10-10]
When I take out the recyclables, walk back in, and realize that I have to open another can, to feed the cat
When I leave the house, wearing my around the house glasses, even though my going out glasses are right next to my keys.
I hate it when .... [2008-10-10]
I have to beg my son and DIL to have time w/ my grandson.
I hate it when [2008-10-10]
I get a craving for chocolate and there isn't one morsel to be found in my cupboards! :(
I hate it when [2008-10-10]
people chew their gum like a cow chewing cud or suck on their teeth after they eat. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I hate it when....... [2008-10-10]
People write checks period. But even more so when they are in the express lane and write a check.
Second, I hate it when people stop in the middle of the aisle to have a lengthy conversation and block the whole aisle!
Hate to break your heart [2008-06-23]
When I read the first part I thought that was an odd thing to say, especially since he keeps saying it. I would say to him why wouldn. I don't know much about the relationship (long distance-local). If (and I'm just assuming this is an if) he is long distance he might have a wife or girlfriend. You can't trust what he says if you can't see the situation with your own eyes. If he hasn't called there is definitely something wrong (hence I would start to believe he has another girlfirend or wife). Have you ever been to this persons home, seen where he lives, or any of that?
The second part of the message is what bothered me. When someone borrows money no matter how much you care about them no matter how much they borrow they should pay it back. I know you care a lot about this person, but to lend someone money is a very dangerous thing. I know from experience.
We loaned my BIL some money about 4 years ago. We helped him get out of some payday loans and I went through his budget very very carefully and spent almost 3 weeks constructing a budget for him to live on to including a separate bill for paying us back (a certain amount each month), but this budget also included some fun money for him - not a lot but would give him the means to go to a movie or grab a pizza once a week. Anyway...here it is 4 years later and he has only paid us back less than half of what he ows us. He keeps giving us the line I I love you guys a lot You know you can trust me I won. I keep getting these lines from him (and he's my BIL). My point I am saying is this is my BIL and he keeps giving me the same type of lines it sound like this person is giving you.
Please be very very cautious with this relationship and just remember, there are hundreds of other fish in the sea who you will meet and will fall in love with you and wonI hope you believe that.
So, I hate to break your heart but I think he is taking advantage of your kindness and has no intentions of anything further. If I was in your shoes I'd send this person an email ditching him, and remove the email from my contact list and have no further contact with him.

it was too cold and angular and plain, but now it looks much better and I like it.
Is that what you're aksing?
I truly hate that. sm [2008-05-20]
I was just discussing with my husband the other day how the Kennedy family is just cursed. They have had so many tragedies...I honestly think there has to be a curse there. So much has happened.
I wonder if he had been experiencing any other symptoms or if this just came out of nowhere. My aunt died from lung cancer that had spread to her brain, and she had many, many symptoms. Cancer by its very nature, though, is sneaky. A hard disease to fight.

I'm so glad - what I hate more is.... [2008-03-16]
I saw that commercial and started crying when the people's legs walked by her and she sat there watching them pass with that cute face and floppy ears. That commercial makes me cry, but now I'm happy that she's adopted. However, what makes me cry worse and makes me want to comit murder is hearing about the people who are cruel to animals. I can't watch the commercial anymore with the singer who is singing a very sad song and all these pictures of abused and tortured animals are up. These animals have been traumatized and are so afraid and you can see it in their faces. I sure wish there was some way to educate humans that animals do have feelings and they feel pain, sadness, happyness, hunger, and neglect. I still can't figure out why humans do what they do to animals without a second thought. Throws me into a depression and I just sit and cry. I know it happens in life but I just can't take hearing about it.
I have a new Hoover and hate it [2008-02-24]
Iwant my old one back. This one is hard to get the plate off to clean out the dog hair, it is hard plastic and takes several minuetes to get it back on correctly so it will seal and suck out the water. My old one that I had for 12 years was great and worked much better. But since I bought it I will use it.I have 2 cats and 1 dog and it works good just don But it has paid for itself. Like I said my other one lasted 12 years and so the $159 I paid for that one really did pay for itself. I used to use it about every 2-3 months as we live on the water and the carpets can get quite dirty. I am hoping to get hard wood floors here in the next month or so and so won But to me I love the convenience and it really kept my carpet in good shape.
I don't hate winter, but [2008-02-13]
enough is enough! Yeah, I know it's only February. We've been spoiled here in the Northeast. The last few winters have been so warm I'd started believing in global warming. Now I'm starting to think new ice age instead!
Hate to say it but he sounds like a clone - sm [2008-02-02]
of my husband. He wants me out too, but he wants me to give up the kids, etc. and just go. Don't think so. I stay for the kids mainly to protect them from him, as he gets a bit nuts sometimes. Kids love him to death though, and he is always buying them stuff (trying to buy their affection). He is unhappy that I have gained a bit of weight, but he is unrealistic and wants Twiggy. I was about 10 pounds over weight when we met and married, now about 80 unfortunately. I am trying to lose weight though for me, not for him. I am also trying to get a job locally out of the house and have a good opp right now that is $12K a year, and that with my MT work will give me about $30K a year, which in the long run could make me independent of him (my goal). He is totally against this new job, I think out of fear of me going (which he wants so that makes no sense) and it will inconvenience him some. So he is putting up all sorts of road blocks, but I will win even if I have to do backflips to attain my goal. I am not a great housecleaner (his biggest complaint), but the house is not a slum, just cluttered mainly with his junk. I bend over backwards to do things with the kids, school trips, activities, etc. He won't make the effort at all and it hurts the kids I know. I dread a divorce but expect it will happen eventually, sooner probably rather than later. I have a lot of issues holding me back, mainly financial, but really need to see a divorce lawyer to see where I stand as my name is on practically nothing we own (not even the house), so I need to find out my rights, you need to do the same. I understand things correctly I will come out quite well in a divorce (about $200K), though getting that out of my husband would be the difficulty (though all I would want is the house, he can take everything else). So when you find you cannot take it anymore, see a lawyer. I plan to in the next month or so just to covery myself and make sure I would not end up with the short end of the stick in a divorce if and when it comes to that.
I hate to even post this but here in my own town is a black woman with the name [2008-01-29]
Shithead. I am not kidding you. It is pronounced (Sha-theed). I am not making this up and I am embarrassed to even write that. It sounds like a pretty name, but spelled horribly.
I hate this place. I really do. No snow. It's over. It was coming straight toward us and then [2008-01-19]
BAM! It went straight north! Atlanta was snowing like crazy. I'm only 2 hours from Atlanta!!!!! I am sick over here. Really. I had everything lined up at the door waiting to take my boys outside to play! Of course, we heard from friends in Tuscaloosa, AL, who had inches of snow and it was falling and sticking and THEIR kids were playing in it! I'm frustrated. My husband could care less about our kids seeing snow (he's lived in this area his whole life and has seen it maybe twice).
I on the other hand lived in NY and VT, so I am well aware of snow. I just want my kids to see it so bad, you guys.
Okay. I am having a major pity party. PLEASE, please, someone remind me (who is blessed living in a place where it DOES snow), remind me of how lucky I am to never see snow - EVER. Keep those lists coming because I need to be reminded of how lucky I am. Right now I feel punishment from God!

Then I guess she just inherited this disposition unfortunately. God knows why they bred this dog if it was this bad that they had to put it down 6 months after having pups. I hate you had that experience. I wish you could have had a good experience with your pit. But I understand.
Chevy [2008-10-04]
Thanks Tristen! Ya know I am embarrassed to say, but before my first pitbull Choppa I was one of those skeptical that bought into the media displaying them as bad dogs cuz u hear so much, but I fell in love with Choppa the minute I saw him & he REALLY opened my eyes up to the breed. I am thankful for him coming into my life. And I know if it hadn't been for me falling in love with the breed then I hate to say, but I wouldn't have stopped and tried to get Chevy. These dogs have opened my eyes to so many things. I mean, it is amazing to me that they can love again with all their heart after what all they go through. This is a remarkable breed & I thank God for having them in my life every single day!
Anyone here caring for aging parents? [2008-10-02]
Whoof. This is so very hard. My mother is/was a brilliant educator, highly respected in her field.
We are walking a very thin line these days. I just hate it, and I do not use that word often.
We have found an assisted living facility that she likes, and I do as well. But, she is not liking the fact that she must decide. Oh, it is so very hard.
She was quite ill back in the summer, went to a nursing home for therapy (to recover from pneumonia), and then home. She is failing, and not going gentle into that good night. She wants so very much to live on her own, but it is such a struggle. I am afraid for her, and I am so very tired.
Is anyone else living with this? If so, what do you do? I have read a thousand articles, talked with so many specialists, and still am lost.

I thought it would be a great way to limit my - [2008-09-16]
intake of sweets, but NOOOO! Now I crave them more than ever. You can still 'taste' with the taste buds on your tongue: salt, sweet, sour, acidic/bitter. So now I tend to over-salt things, and put too much sugar on everything!
Oddly, I find a lot that has to do with tasting 'flavor' is in my mind. If I eat a strawberry, for example, without really thinking about it very much, when my mouth gets the sweet sensation, I tend to actually believe I can taste it (unless I scrutinize it too much). So I think ice cream and chocolate chip cookies are almost every bit as good! (Probably the fat content.)
Equally oddly is the fact that I will still stand in the cereal aisle or the frozen dinner aisle, and contemplate what I 'feel like' having for breakfast or dinner. Why? It doesn't matter anymore! But I still do it. Ridiculous! Old habits sure do die hard.
But there IS another advantage to lack of taste: Now you can buy the less-expensive 'store-brand' or generic brands of pretty much anything, from colas to Cheerios, and you'll never notice the difference! In that respect, it's saved me tons of money when I go shopping.
Did you get cravings when you lost your taste? I used to hate pineapple, after I lost my taste I started craving it.
It depends on the day. [2008-09-05]
School mornings are crazy so its usually a granola bar, pop tart, piece of fruit or something of the like and then maybe a mid morning bowl of cereal, oatmeal, or cream of wheat.
On weekends my hubs is usually the one up early so he usually makes a traditional-type breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, etc. or pancakes, french toast, or waffles.
During the summer I went through a homemade egg mcmuffin sandwich phase. Those were quick and easy but not quick enough for school mornings.
Funny, we had breakfast for dinner last night. Scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns, toast, bacon, and OJ. It's been a long time since I have done that and I told my hubs this should be a once a week dinner. Its so simple, easy, and healthier than a lot of other stuff. Besides kids love it! :)
Just this morning I was thinking I need some new ideas for quick mornings but i hate buying prepackaged stuff like poptarts.
Wow -these are excellent suggestions [2008-09-05]
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am 49 years old (feel 69 right now). I'm 189 pounds and lead very very sedentery life. No kids, no activity. I know I need to do some activity but I just can't get motivated. However, I do have an exercise video called Callanetics...very low impact aerobics (slow movements with very relaxing music), so tonight I pulled it out and starting tomorrow going to do that at the end of the work day.
I too have to have my caffeine and one day without it I sure can tell. Isemi-organic (at least that's what I call it). I refuse to take any medication (not even aspirin when I have a headache). I'm trying to go vegetarian (or more vegetarin) but I do like meat. Just got to lose weight and a bit more exercise.
Imy friend and I canbaby producing machine, yet I'm cursed with these blasted periods. Okay - sorry, that's more of my own emotional problem I have to deal with. I just want the periods to end. Your suggestions of herbal supplements are most interesting and I will be looking into them. Thank you again for your post.
A "Lunch Ladies" opinion [2008-09-03]
I work in an elementary school in Ohio. With a lot of hard work we have pretty much removed junk food from our menus. Just today we served Chef Salads for one of our choices. The kids love them. As one first grader said My mouth is watering just looking at my salad!. We have a lot of freash fruit and vegetables too. Please let your school system know your concerns. There really is no reason to serve sodas and they should be removed. I do serve ice cream, but once or twice a week. We laugh sometimes when they call us their Lunch Teachers. When I ask why, they usually say because I teach them how to eat right. As far as the grandmother who brought home food from the kitchen, I hate to tell you but that is stealing!

very unusual for someone to be arrested that way for bad checks, that scened was sooo dramatic. The cops must hate her too
Why do men throw out our stuff and keep theirs? [2008-08-30]
Hubby did it again! I had to work a couple hours this morning and in the meantime, he decided to clean out the linen closet.
Things he kept: All his stuff, plus old towels that are good for rags.
Things he threw out: My shampoos, my curling irons, make-up, my electric shaver, etc. When I asked where they were, he burned them! My curling irons were brand new!
Is he trying to tell me something?
This is not the first time hewhim like this, but I never thought hemy good stuff.
I like clean but don't like to clean (sm) [2008-08-30]
My house is cluttered and it's hard to clean or dust. When I worked at home I would wash my hands every 5 minutes or so because I was always touching dust and the sink was so convenient. Now I work outside in the dirt and I go hours without being able to wash up. I hate touching trash cans without being able to wash, but I remind myself it's just potting mix and and plant material we put in there, so I try to convince myself it's okay, LOL. I do keep handiwipes on my golf cart to use after touching really stinky, rotten dead plants. There is usually a trace of dirt under my nails now - so weird. I have to shower twice a day when it's hot.
Commercial blooper and they don't know it [2008-08-30]
I just saw a commercial that mis-stated itself. It was for Barbisol shaving cream. The announcer said And with 7 different flavors you can pick the right one. Flavors? Think they meant scents. All I thought of was....ewwww people eat shaving cream??? HA HA. Wonder if anyone has brought it to their attention.
But at least its not as annoying as 75% of most commercials. What commercial do you hate the worst.
1. Free credit report.com
2. Commercial about animal abuse. - That affects me way too emotionally and I have to change channels cos I start crying.
3. Any commercial where they have objects acting like people (like the swifter commercial).
4. Any commercial where someone is over-acting. Saw one for a dog/cat brush where the girl went to take the hair off of the (old and bad) brush and she acted as though her fingers had been slashed with 100 razor blades.
The lists goes on and on and on. And if I do see a commercial that is annoying I will refuse to buy it and buy the other brand in protest.
San Diego got way too expensive [2008-08-29]
Rent was about a grand a month eight years ago when I was 36 and had my precious baby I left there when he was eight months old. I stayed with my two of my best friends (gay couple) in Atlanta for over ayear in their mansion-like home. I then came back here to MI, where it surely is cheap to live and he and I could be near my family. I bought a house last year for$13,000 (thatnot a typo) and the cost of living is very reasonable here.
No, 27 is certainly not old and youcrisis -- justwild oats. I used to call itworld ofhate when I would be ready to leave a city: Sick of traffic, sick of the people at the grocery store, sick of my neighbors. Then, I would plot out a journey and move on. Now, though, with my sweet childof school age, we can only wander off and travel in the summer months. So,do it while you can, girl!!
I think too many people would not be able to wait until the day is over. LOL [2008-08-25]
That would be nice. Maybe on a board like this it would work, but in real life I don Too many people thrive on anger, confrontation, and oh how they do like to judge. I don Myfriends motherfor instance lives in the victim state. Everything is everyone elses fault. She never did anything but all her problems and situation is someone elses fault. The problems she hasare usually herkids fault. If she didn Itfault she had so many kids (she has 6), and its someone elsesfault she never finished college (which by the way her whole college tuition, books, room board, meals, clothes and I mean absolutely everything) was paid for in full and she would have not had to pay back anything (wish I had that opportunity). But after a year she decided to drop out and move away from her home town.Anyway...back to my thought...people just thrive on blame, hate and judgment (among other negative emotions).
Reading the post the first thing that came to my mind was a movie I watched called Demolition Man starring Sandra Bullock and Sylvester Stallone, where he is put in cryostasis and comes out of it in the future and they all talk and end sentances with Happy Happy Joy Joy and everyone is overly polite to everyone. It's an amusing movie and I love it and that's what this reminded me of.

I am heading there at some point because I It must be nice to have small ones and buy $5.00 bras.... LOL
