Tonya, perhaps you should be checked sm [2008-11-15]
Tell the doc or get a diabetes test from the drug store. My MIL did this and had a sugar problem which was solved with diet. I hope not, but save yourself some worry; caught early, most problems can be solved with diet alone.

Even without more symptoms I would urge him to get in to his regular doctor to get looked at. I have heard of people being nauseated, sweaty, short of breath with the pain of a heart attack but I also think it can be an individual thing and different with everyone.

have you checked how damp your houseplants are? Before you laugh..see msg. LOL [2008-06-09]
Where I work we had a problem with gnats. Somebody thought to Google gnats. Evidently if your houseplants are too wet, they live in the dirt. Or something like that...anyway..they went out and bought 100 pounds of sand and everybody with plants got some and put it over the top of the dirt in the plants. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps.

Thanks to all who replied. I stumbled on above website and it said no coverage for ex-spouses. I really think this is some type of delaying tactic on his part--have to wait for open season, etc,or get her to agree to take less child support even. He changed jobs and had to submit the withholding order. After 2 months, my daughter called and found out they did not have the paperwork for withholding. She immediately sentthe order. He declared he had taken care of that. He knew the child support was not coming out and he Just don't trust him at all-- Good point about being independent. Just so hard to do it all on her own. Also had not thought about his having access to her health info. Thanks again.

That stinks. [2008-11-10]
I'd be mad too. I know my friend's who text and those who don't. I also know some of my friends use their cell for everything and others only for emergency. I would call them according to their preference. If we were all in the same hotel, I wouldn't think of a cell phone but would think of the room phones and/or knocking on the door if you were in the same hallway. Personally, I think its rude to be tied to a cell phone when you are with other people. Everyone knows that if I am busy (that means even just eating dinner at home with my family) I do not answer a cell phone. If its important they will leave a message or call back. If I get 2 calls back to back, I will answer. I think it's disrespectful. Unless of course you have kids but even so my kids would know not to call me to ask where the peanut butter is while I'm out with a friend or at work. It better be a real emergency. With all that said, I think this is becoming a problem in society in general, not just your group of friends. I went to dinner with several friends recently and they all had their cell phones out. One was taking calls and/or calling those who were missing to see where they were. I was the only one who apparently turned their ringer completely off and left it in my pocket. When I excused myself to the bathroom I checked to see if I had any messages, otherwise things can certainly wait 30 minutes to an hour.

Another thought. [2008-11-10]
If you were all traveling, they should have wondered and checked on you for safety Didn That would hurt my feelings. If you make plans with a friend and they don't show up, you should at least check to make sure they're okay.

Ideas . . . thoughts on this? [2008-10-31]
Good afternoon, I am hopeful someone here can answer my question. Does anyone here type for a pediatrician? I was wondering . . . if a child bent all four fingers in a backwards position, would this action cause a lump to form on the back of the hand? Why do I ask? Well my daughter (in first grade) came home from school with a lump on the back of her tiny hand. At first she did not tell me what happened, but it has since come out that the bully in the class bent her fingers backwards. I I had planned to take her to our doctor to have it checked out, but today the lump is gone. I wrote a note to the school teacher asking that this child (the bully) be kept away from my daughter—now there seems to be this big coverup. This little boy was always in trouble in kindergarten and he was known to throw chairs etc.. .. you name it. As a matter of fact the kindergarten teacher couldn My daughter told me that when this finger bending/spitting occurred that her music teacher sent the boy to the office for punishment . . . now the school claims he was never sent to the office, like this never occurred. And no, I wasn Also, I should mention other parents found out there were coverups over bad behavior when this boy was in kindergarten. What should I do? Would a lump result from this type of bending of the hand? I guess I have to wire my daughter to find out what is going on in the classroom. Any suggestions or answers?

Is there a way to obtain your credit report for free? I have never checked it. I have always been afraid to, but now I would like to check it now matter how bad and figure on a way to make it better. I have looked on line and found several sites offering free credit checks, but then pay a monthly fee for something. I don I have too many straws in my bank account. I was wondering if my bank would do it or maybe an 800. If I ask, wouldI get laughed out of the building imaging something for free?TIA.

No birth control sales, no candy sales, [2008-10-24]
CHANTILLY, Va. — A new drug store at a Virginia strip mall is putting its faith in an unconventional business plan: No candy. No sodas. And no birth control. Divine Mercy Care Pharmacy is among at least seven pharmacies across the nation that are refusing as a matter of faith to sell contraceptives of any kind, even if a person has a prescription. States across the country have been wrestling with the issue of pharmacists who refuse on religious grounds to dispense birth control or morning-after pills, and some have enacted laws requiring drug stores to fill the prescriptions. In Virginia, though, pharmacists can turn away any prescription for any reason. I am grateful to be able to practice, pharmacy manager Robert Semler said, where my conscience will never be violated and my faith does not have to be checked at the door each morning. Semler ran a similar pharmacy before opening the new store, which is not far from Dulles International Airport. The store only sells items that are health-related, including vitamins, skin care products and over-the-counter medications. On Tuesday, the pharmacy celebrated a blessing from Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde. While Divine Mercy Care is not affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, it is guided by church teachings on sexuality, which forbid any form of artificial contraception, including morning-after pills, condoms and birth control pills, a common prescription used by millions of women in the U.S. This pharmacy is a vibrant example of our Holy Father said Loverde, who sprinkled holy water on the shelves stocked with painkillers and acne treatments. It will allow families to shop in an environment where their faith is not compromised. The drug store is the seventh in the country to be certified as not prescribing birth control by Pharmacists for Life International. The anti-abortion group estimates that perhaps hundreds of other pharmacies have similar policies, though they have not been certified. Earlier this year in Wisconsin, a state appeals court upheld sanctions against a pharmacist who refused to dispense birth control pills to a woman and wouldn't transfer her prescription elsewhere. Elsewhere, at least seven states require pharmacies or pharmacists to fill contraceptive prescriptions, according to the National Women's Law Center. Four states explicitly give pharmacists the right to turn away any prescriptions, the group said. The Virginia store's policy has drawn scorn from some abortion rights groups, who have already called for a boycott and collected more than 1,000 signatures protesting the pharmacy. If this emboldens other pharmacies in other parts of the state, it could really affect low-income and rural women in terms of access, said Tarina Keene, executive director of the Virginia chapter of the National Abortion Rights Action League. Robert Laird, executive director of Divine Mercy Care, believes many of the estimated 50,000 Catholics within a few miles of the store will support its mission and make up for the roughly 10 percent of business that contraceptives represent in a typical pharmacy. Whether Catholics will be drawn to the pharmacy is uncertain. According to a Gallup poll published last year for an extensive study of U.S. Catholicism called American Catholics Today, 75 percent of U.S. Catholics said you can still be a good Catholic even if you don't obey church teachings on birth control. Catherine Muskett said she plans to shop at the drug store even though she lives more than 20 miles away. Obviously it said Muskett, one of about 75 people who crowded into the tiny shop for Tuesday's ceremony.___On the Net:http://www.dmcpharm.comhttp://www.naralva.org/instate/pharmacy.shtml

our newspaper, also with the must order within 48 hours. When I saw that, it rang a bell for another heater I did buy and was I ever sorry. I would have checked out the company claims a little more before jumping on something like that. Another point: You will not get the amount of heat you do with wood. Can you possibly convert your wood heater to coal and wood or even pellets? Weused wood for 20 years (Fisher stove)and I, too, was tired of getting up in the middle of the night 2-3 times. Ibegged forcentral heat in our new place and boy, was I sorry. I was always cold (for 10 years). So, last year we bought a used coal/wood burner. What a difference! I'll never go back to central heat again. That stove heats our 1500 sq. foot home and I'm never running around with sweaters on anymore. I don't have to get up in the night to fix it, either. My son bought a pellet stove last year for his 3 story home. They love it and doncentral heat either. It does cost a few bucks more for the pellets.I think he bought $1000 worth, while we only spent $500 on coal and the wood is free.

Need help from people who know about Dogs [2008-10-16]
I am in a bit of a predicament. There is a couple from our church who are very low income and cannot really take care of themselves. Well they have adopted (more like picked up off the street) this dog. She looks like she is part pit part lab part something. Anyways, they have had her for awhile, and she is in bad shape. She looks like she has had puppies, and I doubt she is fixed. It also looks like she has mange. I checked her ears and she definitely has a lot of gunk in there, and probably ear mites. She is scratching so bad she is making herself bleed. It is a horrible situation. I don't have the money to pay for treatment for her. I thought about offering to take her and at least take care of her for awhile (the wife is in the hospital) but I can't risk my dogs getting sick or getting mange. Where we live there isn't really any kind of help for low income people who have pets. What should I do? We are going over there next week to build a wheelchair ramp and I thought about taking some stuff to treat her with, but I don't know what. I'm going to research online, but I just wondered if anyone on here dealt with dogs and knew? I worked at a vet clinic for awhile but of course everything we used was prescription and I doubt a vet will give me anything without seeing the dog. I'm not 100% sure it's mange, it could be fleas too. I had a chow that was allergic when I was little and it was awful. Sorry for the long post! I understand these people love this dog and literally cannot afford it, but it breaks my heart to see that dog so miserable.

Both of my sons are in college now. [2008-10-06]
It's very easy to become overwhelmed quickly during the search. My husband and I approached the process a little differently. We didn't do anything like the other parents and high school juniors/seniors were doing. We did pretty much... well nothing. We let our kids lead in the process. We didn't even look at the applications unless our sons asked us to. We felt that our job was to guide them and to keep them from getting caught up in the college search mania that seems to grip everyone during those last two years in high school. My husband and I went to the same, very large university (Temple U). Back all those years ago, it just seemed that there wasncollege experience for us was living at home and going to school. College was more of a practical work-and-study experience for us. And we received very good educations. Fast forward to our own children. We told both of our sons that they should think of their college experience as the preliminary work for their careers. They didnexperience. Our oldest son was not quite sure what he wanted to do, so he wisely chose to spend a year at the local community college. We were thrilled! It cost us less than his high school tuition! He checked out different options and settled on a meteorology major. With that decided, he discovered that there was only one school that we could afford and that had a great program. He applied, was accepted, and his community college credits transferred. He is now a junior. Our younger son wants to be an engineer, though heoptions and fits. Why such a long post that seems a bit off-topic? Well, because I see so many people stress over this decision. It really isn't the end of the world. It's four short years of a person's life. They're important years, to be sure. But they don't have to be make or break years. Most college students will change majors at some point, many will transfer to other schools. These decisions can be re-made later on. You are in the market for a product, just as if you were shopping for a car or other big ticket item. Try to keep calm about it so that your student doesn't pick up on the stress. It is stressful, but if you keep it all in perspective, the stress doesn't have to feel so overwhelming. And for the short answer: We liked visiting the schools at open house to get a general feel for the place. At that point you can usually tell if the school is a viable option or not. If not, no reason to revisit. If yes, then visit again and make an appointment for a personal tour and/or interview. Don't worry! You'll survive!

I thought you HAD to be mistaken [2008-10-02]
But I checked on the web site and you're right about the price. Ludicrous. I wonder how long it burns. We should figure out how many dollars per minute!

I had started thinking [2008-09-10]
after telling my husband about it, he said that he would have smarted off at her. And obviously after reading what everyone has said, something should be done. I don't know that she is necessarily picking on my daughter, but they had homework the other day to draw a gingerbread man to put up at the school as posters. Well, my daughter worked diligently on hers and it turned out adorable, and the day it was to be turned in, I checked her folder, and there it was. Her homework. I took her to school today and there were other posters up everywhere that other children had done. It is THEIR JOB to double-check her folder IMO. Being only 5, she could have forgotten that it was there! I am definitely going to send a warning letter to the teacher in the morning, before it gets any more ridiculous than it has.

Kitty ringworm? [2008-09-04]
I need some advice from all the cat experts out there. A week ago a very nice black male kitty adopted us and since he was so mellow and got along with our dog, we decided to keep him. I took him to the vet for the first time last night to get checked out and get shots. The doctor noticed an area between his shoulder blades that was a little flaky and a little fur was starting to come off. She thought it might possibly be ringworm but couldn't tell yet. Honestly, I didn't even notice this (and I've been petting kitty a lot) until she pointed it out, and it really didn't start flaking until we got to the vet. Today in the same area he has a very small patch of hair loss and still has some flaking but I don't see a lesion like ringworm. Could it be that the lesion just hasn't shown up yet? If it is ringworm, what can I use on it without having to go back to the vet? I already spent a lot of money there yesterday and I do want to take care of kitty, but we do have limited funds. Oh yes, and to my surprise, this kitty who has been outdoors for who knows how long is very clean and actually does not have fleas! And yes, we did try to find his owner, but no one has called. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I forget the man ironically enough you can charge it on your card to purchase! So, kind of funny there! I checked out the book at the library instead, figured out what to do, and still have not gotten around to it. I need to get it all down on paper, and I However, he does put his own gas in the car and treats us for different odds and ends, fast food, movie night, day at the beach, you get the picture... The only problem I see with this is the way I get paid. I am an IC. I only have one online company that truly pays me on time. My other accounts I bill every other week but they don Also, the work fluctuates. So, I may make $1.400.00 a month with one account but if the docs go on vacation, that can bring it down to say $600.00 a month. So while your plan, I agree, is wonderful and yes it does work, and yes Ibudget wise income wise for me personally being an IC and having fluctuating work. I might add the online company I range anywhere from 14,000 to 20,000 lines a month given the work is there, I work from a pool; no line quotas, and no set schedule. So, I need to be on my toes to grab the work. I do have a lot of accounts to choose from, but when I go out twice a week to pick-up work, I am away from the computer, hence losing some of those jobs I could have grabbed. I check all day long until 11 p.m. to make sure I take all that I can. Sorry this is so long, but I think thatfloundering on this budget thing where I am never sure if Imy end of the budget every month. I don been doing it 20 years, and love it and love being at home with the kids (school age), but still...

Low-carb diet problems - sm [2008-08-18]
Have been on a very low-carb but high protein diet for 3 months now. Havebeen experiencing a bit of shortness of breath and a catch in my throat as well as being more thirsty than usual. I have checked out ketosis and wonder if that is where I am. Has anyone been on a low-carb diet with similar symptoms? p.s. Have lost aproximately 25 pounds Thank you.

Another thank you - sm [2008-08-18]
Yes, I intend to stay on a low-carb diet forever. My metabolism is sluggish and this is the only way I can lose and keep the weight off. The tradeoff for better health is so very much worth it. I had a total knee replacement on June 10th and the weight I have lost has helped my recovery so much. Glad to hear that the ketosis will pass. I did some googling and decided that I can handle this by eating an occasional higher fat meal and some carbs. I will check with my doctor, but my health status (as checked prior to my surgery) is very good. Thank you again.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday [2008-08-13]
Actually, it Every year, starting the day before Thanksgiving, I begin the preparations: House cleaned, clothes packed, manicure, pedicure, extra lines worked. Then Thanksgiving day, the family comes to my house (my parents, 3 siblings and their families plus me and hubs and 3 kids). We have an early Thanksgiving dinner - 2 p.m. By 5 p.m., the guys are all watching football, the kids are playing video games, and we women begin staking out our big day. We have the sales papers all over the table, the Sharpie Usually around 6 or 7 p.m., my company packs it in and calls it a day. My hubs then heads to Wal-Mart (yes on Thanksgiving day) to buy his stock of groceries/snacks for the weekend. While he Then I call my girlfriend, with whom I I print out our agenda on the computer and then try to get myself to bed early, usually by 10 p.m. At 3:00 a.m. Black Friday, the alarm goes off. I By 4:00 a.m., I We throw her suitcases in the back and head off to our local Wal-Mart for the first finds of the day. We usually have our stuff checked out and back in the car by 6:15 a.m. Then we head off to our yearly shopping extravaganza. We spend the weekend in Lancaster, PA where there Our hotel has a hot tub and an indoor pool. We catch all the great buys at the dept stores in Lancaster and then spend the rest of Friday crafting. We have a nice dinner and then head back to the hot tub. Saturday We usually meet up with the rest of our crew -- about 10 of us, all ladies, no kids. We have dinner and go over all the best buys we got. Come Sunday, we sleep in a little late and then check out of the hotel. Not much opens early on Sunday, not even the mall, in Lancaster (home of the Amish). We finish up our day at the mall and then head over to the Olive Garden for a farewell dinner. We usually end up making it home by 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. Sunday night. Okay - now you I can hardly wait. As for my hubs and 3 kids, they usually buddy up and have sleepovers. Saturday is a definite movie day. They almost always have a must-see Christmas movie out Thanksgiving weekend. Sunday, they pretty much lay around and wait for me. My hubs usually gets the indoor Christmas decorations out for me to get started on. We usually put the outdoor ones up the weekend before Thanksgiving. I SOOOOOO CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!! It is absolutely my favorite holiday of the year, my second fav being Christmas Eve (I love the anticipation of what Thanksgiving is only 107 days away!!!!

I had a vaginal ultrasound every month and if things looked good I got an HCG injection. I was on my last month of being able to do this and got pregnant and my child is now 13. The Clomid alone did not work for me. Also, DH had to be tested for counts and on the test he was found to have white cells. He was put on antibiotics. My doc said that it could possibly prevent conception. If you aren This was my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I had no issues, but I had also been on the pill for 10 years so things were kept regulated. I didn't go back on the pill after the first pregnancy. Good luck to you.

Numbness/tingling/slight swelling in face [2008-08-08]
I had a 1-hour massage 2 days ago. I have problems most with my neck and upper back being tight and sore, limited ROM...wonder why?? lol This morning I had a fullness in the right supraclavicular area, kind of fluidy, and a sense of it being full but no pain. Later on I noted numbness, tingling and very slight swelling in the right side of my face. As far as I know, I didn This happened last year two or three times, but much more swelling and numbness (looked almost like Bell These other times I never felt the fluidy fullness in my neck like today...this time because it started in my neck, I was worried it was due to some lymphatics draining in my neck. The fluidness feeling is gone but I have a more definite area of supraclavicular swellingand it is painful to palpate. I am thinking of going to our ER/walk-in clinic to get it checked out...or should I just wait it out and see what happens? BTW, I am waiting for my Rheumatology referral, due to chronically elevated sed rate (76 last time), low positive CRP and slightly positive RF. Joint and muscle pains abound... Thanks in advance.

I feel for ya, really do! [2008-08-07]
have you hadtesting done to be sure that you need the Clomidto ovulate? Have you had hormone tests, check your fallopian tubes, check uterus for fibroids, endometrial biopsy, etc., sperm count/analysis for husband? I know some who Clomid has worked for. The reason I ask, although keep in mind this was back in the dark ages in the Had an old-fashioned doc that I just loved to pieces but would have been in my best interests to get to a larger city with more sophisticated methods as it turned out. Went through lab tests, laparoscopies, laparotomies, hysteroscopies, etc., husband had multiple tests, had my tubes examined to see if open and always were, years of taking the Clomid and back then basal body temperatures, which probably still isn Turned out, when finally suggested, to have a diagnostic DC, had multiple fibroids and retained products of conception from a previous missed abortion, which we knew about, which I guess my old doc back then didnC afterwards at 10 weeks. I got pregnant immediately after removal of all that...thus, my question as to what else you have had tested to be sure you just need the Clomid. Also, gave myself Pergonal injections for awhile instead of the Clomid before I had the surgery, more powerful stuff and more chance of multiples. Six months forward after delivery, decided wanted to try again (always wanted a lot of kids since I come from a really small family) since wasn Old doc retires, go to a new doc. He does a laparoscopy, says my ovaries are so stuck together and to abdominal wall that I would be very, very lucky to ever get pregnant again, just keep taking the Clomid to kick out the eggs and maybe a lucky egg would find it Yikes! Continued for awhile, 3 years, and decided to go to Denver. Doc there, still back in the I won't go into all the complications I encountered along the way with both these pregnancies, was just very lucky and in decent health and shape for my age back then, and had some docs on the ball. Sorry, not trying to make this about me, but it brings back those memories of the desperation of so much wanting a baby and the frustration, and really hope it works out for you and wanted to throw out any suggestions I could think of. I never had anyone to talk to back then, everyone always said, aren Have you had any abdominal surgeries in the past? just in case you haveadhesions or something in there that could be blocking things. Are you sure you You might want to check into doing those tests twice a day as you might miss the ovulation from doing the test from onedayto the next. Are you timing them according to the length of your cycles? Not saying Clomid wonpossibly be preventing pregancy. I wasted a lot of years before finallyfinding out what the problem really was and didn't need the Clomid after all. Good luck to you and your husband! sending good vibes your way... Ask lots of questions and do research on your own, too. I know what a strain it can be on the two of you, just Hope I haven't offended you by all of this, just throwing out suggestions from my experience.

Age [2008-08-04]
Age would be a big factor in how I would proceed with this. I have something similar and it really scared me. I waited to go to my PCP who just happened to hear it in her office on the 3rd try, as it doesn't happen all the time. She did an EKG, Holter monitor, cardiac ultrasound, etc. and determined it was PVCs and since I was in my 20s it really was nothing to worry about. She told me if it ever lasted more than a few minutes or I had any additional symptoms with it to get checked out again and as I get older we could consider meds. Now with that said my husband is close to 40 and if he came to me with something like this (he doesn't take meds either and NEVER goes to the doctor) I would take him to get it checked out. If you feel comfortable with your local urgent care, certainly take him there. It's things like this that we have insurance to help us with. My husband woke me up from pain earlier this year (it turned out to be a kidney stone) same circumstance with his age and actually him feeling concerned, I took him straight to ER. Go wherever you feel comfortable if it happens again. To me the UC is in place of a PCP but an ER visit is different. If you'd be happy seeing your PCP (if it was an option) at that moment then go to the UC. Sometimes I think you just have to go with your instincts.

I know there are a lot of animal lovers here, so I thought I would share... [2008-08-01]
Back in March I posted on this board about my lab puppy that died from parvo. After that happened, we bleached our house from ceiling to floor and poured buckets and buckets of dilute bleach on our yard. About a month later, I was approached by a neighbor who's boxer had had puppies and since the neither of the parent boxers were registered, she was selling them of $100 a piece. I've always wanted a boxer, but refused to pay $400 for a dog. So I jumped at the chance to get a boxer, but I was a little leery because of the parvo incident. So my hubbie and I again bleached our house from top to bottom and bleached our yard, pretty much killing the grass. We made sure the puppy had her first set of shots including a parvo vaccination and even made a point three months ahead for her second parvo booster. We brought her home and she did great. We thought we were successful at decontaminating our house. She was healthy and happy until about three weeks ago. She had gotten into the trash and got a hold of some raw chicken bones and then the next was lethargic and heaving like she wanted to throw up but couldn't. As luck would have it, it was time for her appointment for her shots and booster. So I get to the vet and tell her what was going on with her and even the vet agreed it was probably the chicken. So they checked her out and she had a temperature. So the vet said she couldn't give her shots, but they could do the flea treatment. Then vet asked me about doing a parvo test. At first I was like no way could she have parvo. She's been living in our house for four months now and is just now getting sick? But then I said just to rule out, let's do it. Well, she had parvo! I was just sick and crying. I didn't want my kids to watch another dog die, but I didn't want to euthanize her either. She wasn't as sick as the other dog had been. She hadn't had diarrhea, just a little vomiting. I just didn't know what to do. I couldn't afford the $600 my vet was telling me would be the cost to hospitalize her and give her IV fluids and antibiotics. So I took her home and gave the sad news to my husband. Then I got mad and said there has got to be something else we can try. So the MT in me took over and I got online and started researching. I found a couple of articles where vets had tried Tamiflu in dogs with parvo and that the Tamiflu had actually helped. It had shortened the length of the illness, hindered the spread of the virus throughout the dog's intestinal tract, and made the symptoms less severe. Basically, given a dog a better chance for survival. Luckily (LOL) my entire family had had the flu back in February and I happened to have some Tamiflu on hand that my husband hadn't taken. I found that the vets had given the parvo dogs 1 mg per pound to the sick dogs twice a day for five days which in my dog averaged to about 30 mg twice a day. My Tamiflu was 75 mg capsules. So I figured I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. So I did it. She wouldn't eat at first, so putting the pill in a hotdog wasn't an option. So my husband held her mouth open and I dropped a pill in and used a baby medicine dropper to squirt water into her mouth. Then we held her mouth closed and made her swallow. Day two, she seemed a little perky and actually got up to drink water on her own. By day three, she was eating tiny pieces of poached chicken and taking her pill on her own. Long story short, we are now two weeks out from Sugar I also wanted to share how my career as an MT probably saved my dog! Had I not had honed all those researching and investigative skills we need as MTs, I would have never found the information that ultimately saved my dog.

Best of luck to your brother...sm [2008-08-01]
I am glad he is getting this checked out and that they moved the stress test up. The sooner they figure out what Let us know how things go.

Tax free shopping [2008-07-29]
Thanks for the information. I haven't checked yet to see if NY is included, but I know we do have them every year. We usually go, we have what I think is a higher tax than most states. I know the poster below equated it to shopping the day after Thanksgiving, but I love it. I find it challenging and for me it's the start of Christmas shopping for the family.
