A few weeks ago I included in my post [2008-11-01]
that I will include the ASPCA in my will. Yesterday I got a letter from them thanking me for deciding to do this and telling me all the ways they help animals. They said that anyone who includes the ASPCA in their estate gets mentioned in their printed reports, with or without your name published. Am I being too proud to want my name printed? It is my wish that my family and friends remember me most for my love and dedication to animals. It would be wonderful for me to see my name printed, declaring that I support this wonderful organization. Sometimes people say you should just give anonomously.

For the last two weeks I have been listening [2008-10-31]

Wait a minute... [2008-10-01]
Excuse me, but my son just turned 8 and this girl is almost 8. I have since found out that she did this to another boy last year (not as hard) and my son also said she will walk up to him and hyperextend his finger back and twist them, as well as flicking him with her pencil when she gets mad. I know of yet another student that had problems with her last year (an older boy) who felt bullied by her. To me it just seems there is a pattern here that is only getting worse. It could have been his eye. Would you say it was no big deal then?? Where is she getting this behavior from? And yes, I think she needs special help in the classroom if she has behavioral issues. This is way different than kids fighting over a ball on the playground. This is a private Catholic school and they don In addition, their code of conduct that they recite everyday after prayer and the pledge of allegiance is that they will uphold the sanctuary for themselves and others.

TY for replies/advice - see "wait a minute" below for [2008-10-01]
update. I plan on talking to principal and teacher today and go from there.

Wait it out.. [2008-10-01]
Not only that, but to cash it out you have a penalty...so say you cash out $5,000...after penalties and all that, you will get a bit over $3,000 I believe. Just know if you cash it out, you will have to claim it as income on your taxes and pay a really high tax amount on it.....

Wait it out - the market did this on 9/11 also [2008-10-01]
Or the Monday after when the markets opened anyway and the market came back. Leave it in there now and the company that manages it can buy the stocks cheap and you will get a larger return for your money in the long run. Watch the financial shows on TV, they all say leave it in there, and I agree.

Bring him in. My BIL had this a few weeks back... [2008-09-05]
went in, had cath done and had two 70-75% stenosed arteries, CHF, 10% function and may need a transplant. They stabilized him with meds and he is at home with a cardiac vest. He has not felt well for the past year, but kept putting the doctor visit off. Of course, they told him that had he come in sooner it wouldn't be this bad. Good luck.

how long would it be approprite to wait [2008-09-01]
heater? I live in a rented townhome community. I called last night and was told they would be in today because the answering service had no notification of them not being there today. I said, that I called at 8 and the answering service said the office personell did not come in today so they paged the maintenance person. It is now 10:00. I'm not trying to be impatient, I know that this is his day off but what is a reasonable length of time to wait before I call back?

Why wait for dad? When you do that, you imply you are the weaker parent, for lack of [2008-08-26]
You told him to sit for 4 hours (which I agree was harsh for an 8-yo) and gave in after 30 mins. Say what you mean and mean what you say, or the kids will think you're a pushover. Don't leave dad to be the enforcer, you enforce the rules, otherwise they'll fear dad but not you. Know what I mean?

I think too many people would not be able to wait until the day is over. LOL [2008-08-25]
That would be nice. Maybe on a board like this it would work, but in real life I don Too many people thrive on anger, confrontation, and oh how they do like to judge. I don Myfriends motherfor instance lives in the victim state. Everything is everyone elses fault. She never did anything but all her problems and situation is someone elses fault. The problems she hasare usually herkids fault. If she didn Itfault she had so many kids (she has 6), and its someone elsesfault she never finished college (which by the way her whole college tuition, books, room board, meals, clothes and I mean absolutely everything) was paid for in full and she would have not had to pay back anything (wish I had that opportunity). But after a year she decided to drop out and move away from her home town.Anyway...back to my thought...people just thrive on blame, hate and judgment (among other negative emotions). Reading the post the first thing that came to my mind was a movie I watched called Demolition Man starring Sandra Bullock and Sylvester Stallone, where he is put in cryostasis and comes out of it in the future and they all talk and end sentances with Happy Happy Joy Joy and everyone is overly polite to everyone. It's an amusing movie and I love it and that's what this reminded me of. So IMs. National Be Nice and Friendly Day I

Can't have wait time if you have a child in shunt failure [2008-07-31]
My daughter has shunted hydrocephalus. She's gone from a normal-acting child with no symptoms whatsoever, to having seizures, lethargy, and respirations of 9 with no warning whatsoever. She needed a medflight (because we were out of town on the way to the zoo), immediate CT scan and immediate surgery. I am terrified of universal healthcare and the wait times it would bring.

meant a delayed diagnosis of a potentially treatable disease had you been given the CT scan, say, 6 months earlier? You might just say those are the breaks but I would want diagnosis and treatment in a prompt and timely fashion rather than waiting around for 6 months for a diagnostic test, only to be told that I could have been cured 6 months earlier before the disease progressed to the point of no return.

My lab mix was pee trained in one day at about 6 weeks old, only a few poo accidents- sm [2008-06-20]
As soon as I got Walter home, the very second we got out of the car I put him down in the yard where I wanted his potty place to be and he peed immediately. Then I put him on a schedule where I religously put him in the potty place as soon as he woke up from a nap, about 15-20 minutes after eating, and before we went to bed. I also kept an eagle eye on him almost consistently for the first week or so (not hard because he was so cute)... he stayed on a dog bed in my office when I was working and the instant he started sniffing at anything I picked him up and took him to the potty place... a couple times I was running with him and he started to dribble before I got there. Sniffing means he is looking for a place to go! Make no bones about it, he is not doing anything else! As far as pooing, puppies go pretty consistently about a half hour after eating. They have really tiny bladders so you can count on this. No matter what I was doing we went outside at that time. Whever I heard a tiny whine I take him to potty place. I figured he had a belly ache just like a baby might and usually he would go number two. The few times he did poo in the house was my fault. I ignored the whining or was not paying attention. I swear to you... Walter has never ever ever peed in my house. But to be honest, when he was a puppy whenever I brought him to visit another house he almost instantly peed out of nerves. So embarrassing. When I realized he did that I had him meet my friends outside of their homes! He would wiggle in delight but pee. But for the first few weeks, I never left this dog alone at all and my big priority was to get him housebroken asap. You may not have that option if you have to leave for work or something. Walter went with me on errands and whenever I let him out of the car he would pee. So he also loves riding in the truck because he did it so much. When I got Walter he was a little under 6 weeks old... pretty young. So I think I became his mom pretty quick and he was pretty moldable. I have made plenty of mistake, though, like letting him sleep on my bed and now he is 120 pounds and still does that. I don Good luck!

Wait a minute. She's only 7-8 weeks old...sm [2008-06-19]
You've only had her a week, and you expect her to be housetrained already? And you're already thinking about giving her up because she isn't? WOW! Boy are you in for a surprise - if you keep her, that is, which at this point I'm not sure is the best thing for her, unless you're willing to adjust your expectations and do a bit of a 'crash course' in puppies/dogs. And please be honest with yourself, because if you don't keep her, it's much easier to find her a home while she's still young. First of all, it's totally unrealistic to expect no 'accidents' from such a young puppy. She is *very* young. In fact, it sounds like she's doing remarkably well for being so young! It isn't *physiologically* possible for a puppy to be 100% pottytrained until about... 4 months of age, if I remember correctly. They don't have the muscle control to hold it more than... 4 hours, I think it is? (I'm going by memory, so I'll have to look that up.) So, my next question is, how long does she have to stay in the crate w/o a potty break? Because it is extremely unusual for dogs to soil their living area - unless they either have no choice and can't physically hold it anymore, (or if they came from a puppy mill/pet store where they had no other choice but to go in their cage and so get in that habit), OR if her crate is so large that she can go in one section and then go off to another section and be away from it. (If that's the case, you can use a crate divider.) But as young as she is, she probably just can't hold it for more than a couple hours at a time. I had a great site for potty training stuff. Let me find it and post again later. It does s/l you're doing everything else right as far as keeping her on a regular schedule. For now, I'd suggest that she commes out of the crate for a potty break at least every 2 hours, or immediately if you see her start to sniff around in her crate or otherwise act like she's going to go in her crate. BTW, she should have stayed with her mother and littermates until *at least* 8 weeks of age, which tells me you didnleave them hanging so to speak, because it's the puppy that suffers. Okay, enough of my ranting.

but wait! [2008-06-05]

Am I the Wicked Step-Mother? [2008-12-02]
I know I don't post here much but I do read and feel you are all friends. I offer prayers for those that request them and feel for those with troubles. I would like to know what you think about my latest dilemma. I came home from town today to find a phone call from my step-daughter, age 43. She has my cell phone number but for some reason she wonno this time and now I feel terrible. She started out by saying she had a medical bill to pay and then turned it around to a DUI fine that has to be paid by Jan. 1. She got picked up in August for a tail light out and had been drinking with co-workers. Her story. I was advised by the court not to help her so that was part of the reason I said no. She works two part-time waitressing jobs. She's divorced and no kids. She said she would pay me back $100 a month. If that is true why couldn't she have saved $100 a month and had the money to pay the fine? She called me a few weeks ago and I know she wanted money then but she didn't come right out and ask until today. Thanks for listening, I appreciate it.

For the sake of the cats, you should tell her NOW to make different [2008-12-01]
arrangements in the future, and that you won't be feeding them anymore. Please don't wait until she's about to leave the cats. As for your sisters, I'm not Ann Landers or Dear Abby, but I've read them for years and I think they both would tell you to dump the family that you don't get along with, and start making some friends with people that will make you feel good. They are only making your life miserable and it's obvious they will continue to do so as long as YOU allow them to. Nobody can use you for a doormat unless you lie down for it. Good luck.

Left untreated?? [2008-12-01]
It's a virus so there really is no treatment other than supportive, symptomatic care. It's not extremely contagious, as it's spread through saliva and mucus. A doctor or clinic can diagnose it with a Monospot test, and it should run its course in about 4 weeks.

This happened to a friend of mine from high school........sm [2008-12-01]
He had mono after we graduated from high school and was off work for about 5 weeks. He went back to work too early and, while driving home from work one day, his spleen just burst and he crashed into an oncoming log truck, killing him instantly. It was really a double tragedy because the first people on the scene to find him were his mom and dad, who had a bad heart anyway. His dad suffered a major MI on the spot and had to be taken to the ER. His poor mom lost her son that day and almost lost her husband.

These 10 things definitely ain't right: [2008-12-01]
1) MTSOs who want people with top-notch skills and experience, but don't want to pay them what that skill is worth. 2) HMO's: So-called *health-maintenance-organizations* --yet they spend every minute and every dime of their far-too-large profits on denying healthcare, meds and procedures to their patients. These organizations have ruined American healthcare, and many American lives. HMO's have been a con-game since their inception. 3) The Bailouts: Giving money to companies who can too bad for the rest of you.* Then the Big Three show up in DC to beg for a handout, and fly there in private Lear jets. My answer to them would be, *I too bad for the rest of you.* 4) Apartment managers that won't allow even a single quiet, well-behaved pet, but will rent to people with continually screaming small children, and out-of-control older children and teens. Give me the pets for neighbors, ANY day. 5) Businesses that give an age-discount to absolutely everything that walks, runs or flies, but not to the middle-aged middle-class, who need it the most. Take the ski-industry: Young children ski for next-to-nothing, and sometimes nothing. There is a Teen Discount. There is a Student Discount for college kids. There I'll probably never be old enough - it's a carrot-on-a-stick, always just out of reach.) There are even corporate (UGH) discounts. But for those in my age group, who barely make ends meet but like to go up once a year for a couple days of bliss, there is NOTHING. 6) Travel-lodging deals that are always based on double or quadruple occupancy. What about singles? NOTHING. 7) TV commercials that are about a million decibels louder than the regular shows. Why can't it all be the same volume? Same with online newscasts. THEIR commercials will blow your eardrums out if you aren't quick enough turning down the volume before they start. 8) Surround-sound: Everything is too loud, already! Why do we need it coming at us from 4 directions? Why do people living in tiny apartments feel they need it? I've lost count of how many fights I've had with neighbors over this issue. Same with movies and music concerts. Why do they feel we need to feel the music in our SPLEENS? I went to Universal Amphitheater last week. (Now named something else). There is actually a sign outside warning that the decibel level inside might damage your hearing! (?!?!?!) Why do they need this? (To avoid lawsuits, obviously). If it's so loud you have to post a warning sign outside the entrance, then DUH.... it's TOO LOUD! 9) Banks that charge you a fee to use their ATM. They (I haven't actually been INSIDE a bank in YEARS).... and they want to charge US for using the machines instead of the tellers? Forget it. I won't give those banks my business. 10) The Post Office: Talk about rewarding slow, inept performance! The worse their employees are, the longer they seem to stay there. I'd rather have a root canal than go to a P.O. during the holiday season.

I just need to VENT and see what you all think...Beware...this is long...sm [2008-11-30]
I have tried twice to tell this story but deleted it both times because the story is just too long so I will be as short as I can. I have a bunch of ROTTEN TO THE CORE sisters. My sisters are just about the worst people I have ever met in my whole 43 years on this planet. There is one who is especially bad and I just told my other sister that if she ever dies, to please not call me as I won I come from a very large family with 5 sisters and 1 brother with my brother being the oldest. He is not involved. He sort ofleft the family years ago because he couldn They did terrible things to him after his divorce. We rarely see him now.I am considered a scumbag and a loser because my husband and I don We don We don We can We love our children with everything in our souls. They have made fun of me and my husband and insulted us to our faces. My husband and I have a difficult marriage as he is tough to get along with so they hate my husband My sistershave all gone out to dinner without inviting me. I have found out because of someone They have made threats and sent rumors flying throughout the family, without me knowing, about calling DCYF on me. I heard that one too from a slip of the tongue. I cried for 2 hours in the shower that day. They talk about everyone and I mean everyone badly. They have awell known reputation ina couple of our towns here for being mean horrible girls. They are about as fake and phony as a person can get. Sweet and all smiles to your face and when you turn around, they stick that knife in as far as they can get it in. They have what they have in their lives because of what someone has given them. My sister had her property given to her by her in-laws. It is worth about $1,000,000. My other sister had land given to her by her husbandto lessen their mortage burden so now they owe almost nothing on their $500,000 house. They think they are fabulous people. They think they are the cat In the past years when we were all talking and I would be invited to a holiday, I was not spoken to at all the whole time I was there. I am a venter and I always have been so if my husband and I are fighting, I will always go to my older sister (one up from me) and vent and vent until I can She gets on the phone the second I leave and tells every person in my family what is going on. They in turn judge me and my husband, make their threats, and so on. This is also happening to my oldest sister and her partner (she is in a gay relationship but was always dating a man and was married twice) and my sister The three of us, me, my sister and her partner, and my sister We get along well. We are happy with each other. We don Whatever happens in each other lives, we just accept it and don I now attend holidays at my sister I don I don The sisters (I like to call them the Witches of Eastwick) all attend holidays with each other up at my sister The three of us are not invited. My older sister has a son. Several yeas ago, my sister and her partner had a terrible fight with him. He went to the witches and told them a bunch of lies and now they have pretty much shunned her and her daughter and me too because we still talk to her.I have a sister, who is involved in all of this, that I speak to on a regular basis. She is close to my kids or at least my oldest son. She pretty much ignores my other two children and they tell me, It She is the one who has spread rumors about me in the family trying to get everyone to call DCYF on me. I heard this too by a slip of the tongue from another sister a few years back. I tend to be a forgiving person so I quietly forgave her for this without her ever knowing that I knew what she was trying to do. Now that they are all inviited to the holidays up to my sister They are extremely fat just like her. These holiday trips up north are usually kept quiet and I only know about it the day before they are leaving to go, which is when she inevitably asks me to come feed her f******g cats. This is how Iknow that a big party is going on up at the cabin and once again only the chosen selected few are going. This is usually for 3 or 4 days and they get fed twice a day so I have to goto her house twice a day. Sometimes I have to give them medication and the last time she asked me, I even had to soak her sick cat She lives about 20 minutes away from me. This girl would NEVER, NEVER, EVER do this for me. My husband and I took our children on a cruise 3 years ago and we have a cat and I never asked her to do this for me as I know she would have laughed in my face. I have been feeding her cats for years now when she goes away. Keep in mind though that she was in the select chosen few to be invited up to the cabin. I was not as I am considered trash in the family. I am SICK AND TIRED of feeding this girl My sister who invites everyone to go is a mean, horrible, sadistic, vicious, backstabbing wretched b***h. No one will say anything to her like, Gee Pat, where is everyone else? Didn They could care less. All they know is that THEY were invited. Anyway, I am sorry this is so long. I cananymore. I have been thinking of this all day all weekend long. I am really to the point where I just don I am goingto tell my fat a** b***h sister to fnd another way to get her cats fed because I She is just using me and believe me when I tell you, she enjoys it. She is verydiabolical. She loves it that I am not invited and she and her husband are.She even questions me and counts the cat food cans to make sure that I came on all of the days they were gone. These people have balls of brass and I have had ENOUGH.I am just sitting and waiting patiently for the next time she says, Oh, we Can you come and feed the cats? I just canNo. I can I will never feed your cats again! Find some other sucker to do it! I believe that they are severely narcissistic people and this is nothing to take lightly. These types of people are very destructive. Do any of you have family members like this and what do you do about them? How do you stop them from making you feelsad, lonely, excluded andless than you are or deserve? I think it is time for me to cut all ties with them. I just can

I agree with you 100%! [2008-11-29]
Christmas has become this commercialized that people have forgotten the meaning. As for the stores, I think they need to come up with a better idea than allowing these people to wait for hours outside for their bargains which only happen that one day. This is why people get so uptight. I personally don't do Black Friday just for this reason. I think my family would appreciate having me around for Christmas, not having my funeral.

TY everyone for your responses. [2008-11-28]
Since we'll all be doing this again in a few weeks for Xmas - I now know what to do !

Black Friday Shopping [2008-11-28]
My husband got up really early and went to Target. He said it wasn't bad at all. He got my daughter two seasons of House on DVD and got my other daughter one of those Crayola Light Up Boards, all were on sale. Then we went out at about 9:00. We went to Kohl's, and the line, literally went around the whole store! Needless to say we didn't need anything that badly (I bet the wait was 4 hours, no kidding). Then we went to Target again and looked around (actually not very busy at all). Then we went to the Mall and got a slew of Twilight stuff for my oldest daugter and picked a few other things for my oldest. Then we ate lunch went to Walmart and just got home about 3:00. Now my husband is finishing up the Christmas decorations outside and tomorrow is tree day. I love shopping on Black Friday. And with the exception of Kohl's are wait was 5 minutes or less.

thanks for help [2008-11-28]
I can't wait to go shopping!

according to the doc... [2008-11-27]
at least a couple of weeks. The older the better. Another interesting fact--did you know that they really don't need to be refridgerated, as long as where you keep them is not hot?

English Toffee--super easy [2008-11-26]
You can put down any kind of nuts you want--if you want in a raised-sided cookie sheet. Cook 1# of butter and 1# of brown sugar plus a little vanilla to hardball stage (I put a little in a cup of cold water and if it is crunchy, it is done). Quickly pour into cookie sheet because it is easy to burn. Scatter one bag of chocolate chips on top and wait to melt a little before speading across the top. Everyone loves it and it is pretty easy to make. Once it cools, you break it into pieces.

it's not lying [2008-11-26]
It's just not. I was about to get all preachy and talk about how we need mythology in our lives--stories that tell teach us morals, that remind us of our traditions--but I'll stay off the soapbox for now and just say that for as long as my kids are willing to believe, I will give them stories to believe in. The five-minute cry when they discover Santa isn't real, is more than made up for by the years of joy beforehand, don't you think? As for talking in front of the kids, I don they're good at that.

thank you! [2008-11-26]
but no sex when he first gets home. It will be just a couple of weeks after the baby is born, but I am just looking forward to not sleeping alone!!!

Western NY prices [2008-11-26]
I live in Western NY and the major chain here, Wegmans, just lowered prices on a large amount of their groceries. The staples we all need. I really noticed a different in my grocery bill the last couple weeks. Flour5 lbs $1.49, sugar 5 lbs $1.99, 10 lbs potatoes $2.49. Those are things I can think of off the top of my head. i go there and to the super walmart to keep my grocery budget somewhat reasonable and I use coupons.

oh no, he's not exaggerating. [2008-11-26]
Ordinarily I would agree with you that men are...well...kinda dumb sometimes. lol But, this has been a recurrent problem lately. That's why he specifically asked her about it. We were invited to dinner a couple weeks ago and she bought 2 medium pizzas for 9 people, 3 of which are teenagers. I am not a big eater by any means but I came home and made dinner. This is only one example. It's been happening for about 6 months now. I know they are on a budget like the rest of the world but that doesn't mean you have to invite everyone over if you can't feed them.

Here's mine for bugeyes... our version of buckeyes... sm [2008-11-25]
I hear that I am a good candy maker and my secret is I don I eyeball everything! Lazy! So the measurements I give are kind of guesses... but you can look up recipe for buckeye candy too. We changed the name of ours to bug eyes because they kind of looked like bulging out bug eyes Peanut Butter - approx 2-3 cups. I use Skippy Honey Nut. In a household taste test with another regular brand this got higher review. Definitely go for a creamy kind and don't use all natural. 3-4 cups powdered sugar (I specifically remember the recipe called for 3, but when I looked in the box there was not that much sugar left in there, so I dumped it in. So basically one whole box of powdered sugar) 2 sticks butter 1 package of chocolate chips. I I think the recipe was actually for those melting choc chips, but I think those don Beat BP and 1 stick softened butter in very large bowl until PB is really creamy then slowly add in sugar until it seems to hold together well enough to form balls. I say slowly on adding in the sugar so you can stop whenyou can make good balls that are moist and not crumbly. Probably about 1-inch size balls or so. Use waxed paper on a baking sheet and stick in the freezer for about an hour. When hour is up, melt chocolate and about half of the other stick of butter together in pot on stove. You can microwave but I think slowly stirring over the stove is easier to monitor. When all of the chips have melted together, you are done. Don I put tiny slivers of unmelted chocolate in the middle of the uncovered part to look like pupils. Keep in fridge until set. I hope someone enjoys. This is probably a very common recipe, and like I said you can probably find it somewhere with real measurements!. But it is so easy, one of those ones I can make without looking at the instructions over and over and everyone loves. I cannot wait to make them, after typing about it!

Chocolate-Oatmeal-Peanut Butter Yum-Yums [2008-11-25]
Melt 1 stick butter. Add: 2 c. sugar 3 Tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. milk Bring to a boil and then boil for 1 minute. 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter (I use creamy) 2 c. quick oats 1 tsp. vanilla Stir in peanut butter until melted. Stir in vanilla and quick oats. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto waxed paper and let sit until cool and then refrigerate.

I will be spending Thanksgiving with my daughter (age 39) and some of her friends and we plan to break out the old Trivial Pursuit! Can't wait - it sure beats watching sports on T.V.

I just got a Scrabble game on EBay [2008-11-25]
We play Scrabble each holiday - kinda got a contest going on. We have been through 2 regular games but thought it would be great to have the turntable. I decided to checkEbay 2 weeks ago and one had an hour left on the bid and I won the bid for $19 w/ SH. There was one tile gone but they told meahead of time about that which is n problem really as we had all the tiles from the old game and they fit justfine. Bought an egg timer at the dollar store and looking forward to this year Good for you playing a board game with the grandkids. Teaches them a little spelling subliminally too.

Join the club! [2008-11-25]

Here Best friend and neighbor from kindergarten through highschool. Grew apart with college but stayed in touch. After college I moved out of state, she moved back in state - still stay in touch and email regularly. I see her every time I am in town, if she is available. She is got married in November and eloped in Jamaica. She is having a reception in December. I planned to come to the reception, take my stepchild out of school, etc. only for this reason and its on a Friday so its a 4-day weekendtodrive there.I am pregnant and not able to travel after the holidays. My family decided to throw me a shower there that same weekend because I really canafford to go down again. They specifically planned it for Saturday night so she would be able to make it after her festivities Friday and any of her family leaving on Sunday. So I saw her recently when I went for a visit and she said she wouldn She then gives me a gift, not wrapped, obviously thrown together and tells me that she picked it up quickly on her way to meet me because she won't be able to make the shower. It When I got married she sent me nothing, not even a card but she was just out of college. I had planned to give her a $50 gift for her wedding. I received a $10, maybe $20 baby gift of which 1 outfit is the wrong gender. She was well aware we know what were are having. This is my first baby. My feelings are conflicted on this but the more I think about it, the more upset I get. I just dont Is it truely that she is just wrapped up in herself right now and the marriage moment and happily every after and (after almost 10 years) I am over the marriage thing being some huge, happy, perfect day and realize there is more to life? I feel like she could have atleast planned to stop by the shower for 10 minutes and I wouldn Or she could have even told me she planned to come and then couldn Sorry this is getting long. I just can Am I clinging to a friendship that is not there?

I did a 7-day sex challenge but for different reasons. [2008-11-24]
My husband had to wake up an hour before me for work. Every morning, he liked to wake me up with him and then tried to get some before getting ready. I went to bed usually 2 to 3 hours later than him. Needless to say, I wasn So, I decided to give him a taste of his own medicine. One night, I came to bed about 2 hours after him and he was sleeping soundly. I woke him up to have sex with me, which he did without complaint. The next night, the same thing. The third night, the same thing. He never complained. By the 5th night, when I woke him up, he said he was just too tired. He needed to sleep. I laughed a little and said,Funny, that He got the hint and apologized. He agreed not to do that more than once or twice a week and things seemed to be fine. That was 6 years, 9 months and about 2 weeks ago. You see my son was born 6 years and 2 weeks ago. The little lesson I taught him ended up teaching me a much bigger lesson. How come we women always get the short end of the stick? But I love my little guy!

The others do have valid points, but...sm [2008-11-24]
things like this happen to me and I am most annoyed about the lack of consideration. It bothers me to spend time looking for an item to use only to find out it was lent out. My brother once let his friend use my lawnmower, without telling me. I ended up borrowing my neighborbecause the lawn was getting overgrown. It took 3 weeks to get mine back. I think it is reasonable to be asked first, especially if it is something of sentimental value, something that needs extra careful handling, or something that is actually used frequentlylike kitchen implements/pots/pans...and lawnmowers, of course. : )
