You could have a crown attached to the one next to it ...

In Reply to: I have to have a front tooth removed because it cant be fixed anymore and has had all it can have - PAMT

with a false front one attached to the side of the one with the crown. That's what I did many years ago. Much cheaper and easier than an implant.

I do have a crown on this tooth and have had a lot of surgeries on it but it is failing now so the

next step is removing it.  The teeth on either side are not the best because they were also damaged when I was young with this one.

Yes, get another bird. They become very attached.
xx
I know how attached a person can get
because I own cats as well, 3 of them. I have just sent a check to the ASPCA to help spay/neuter animals to cut down on the ones being born that are feral. I also have a letter from a feral place asking for a donation to help out their animals. These are 2 things I am giving to this Christmas plus have sent some money to a mother of several children and tomorrow am meeting a lady at a closeby Wal-Mart who put on Craigs List about wanting coats and shoes for her 2 sons and I hope to be able to find those for them. I am not, understand, blowing my own horn but gosh I am feeling so good about the places I have chosen to give assistance to. I read through Craigs and picked out the 2 I thought needed some assistance and then the other 2 I have been contacted about through the mail. I get more pleasure out of giving actually than I do receiving- older broad here and I have been blessed so much already.
As someone with barn attached to house (sm)

you can imagine the fly problems I have encountered!  Hands down the best piece of arsenal you can have is this "metered fly spray dispenser" from Country Vet.  Every 15 minutes it automatically sprays a squirt of fly spray.  A can lasts 30 days (longer if you turn off machine at night) and IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!

In the fly-free seasons, I have scents that I can put in there instead, so it's a device that does double-duty, which is always a bonus if you're a penny pincher like me!  Here's a link to where I bought my machine and refills:
