I hav fought with Logitec and many more about this same issue. Now have a Microsoft -- again, 6000 and have had it for about 3 months and so far so good. Perhaps the slight curvature helps. But I go through at least one keyboard a year, and usually buy fairly expensive ones. But so far, in 20 years, have not found any that last more than a year. They also loose their bounce. Good luck
