I just took a part time job as an IC for a company. I am looking for some info about taxes. If the company is in a different state (state tax)? Percentage you should put aside for taxes? What can you claim/and do you have to copy every single household bill to bring to the accountant? And can you just bring the 1099 or do you have to bring the invoices/checks? If someone can enlighten me I'd sure appreciate it. I am very disorganized so a little nervous.

I wasn't planning on going to the accountant until tax time and was hoping I could get some info in the meantime since you guys are so great and very informative.
