In Reply to: crepitants is plural of crepitant - no such word as crepitance sm - ALS

In that case, it would depend on client preference -- if client prefers BOS, then there is no such word as crepitants (and my guess would be that the client is saying crepitance as the pronunciation sounds the same)

I am confused -- if BOS says crepitant is the adjective use, is there a need for a plural form?
crepitants
But what I really wanted to know is where you got crepitants???
There is no such word as crepitants. Please SM.
I checked Stedman's 27th, Dorland's Illustrated, a Webster's, other medical dictionaries, and various online dictionaries. The word crepitant is cited as an ADJECTIVE, but there is no notation of a plural. I am having a hard time even coming up with an adjective that you would add an -s to.
crepitants is plural of crepitant - no such word as crepitance sm
regardless of what it says in AAMT BOS.
