Baby daddy's mommy arrested on drug charges

I know exactly what you mean, on all counts....sm
I will only glance in at the board once or twice a day, and it's not worth the bother to post, because it's the same bashing of Palin as it always was, and the same Obama supporters being ga-ga over him, and he can do no wrong, and everything will be wonderful in the world now that he's been elected. They can have him, because even though I am trying to give him a chance, the man isn't even in office yet, and he's turning into a big disappointment, and making mistakes, but the media and his adoring masses will keep giving him passes.

He's had news conferences, terrorist leaders are calling him, left wing organizations are calling on him, he's made his own new office of the president elect, and now we even have to listen to him have a radio address on Saturdays (instead of the dem response to Pres Bush, we now get Obama).

Obama did fall on his face already, in a major way. He is definitely not presidential material. After only two hours in the oval office yesterday for a private meeting with Pres. Bush, the man (Obama) has leaked their private conversation, and "lied" about it.

What a wonderful four years we have to look forward to.

We're going out and buying more guns and supplies, too, as soon as we can, because our rights are going down the tubes, by this person who has no character. I wonder when the masses will start to awaken and see what they've done.

And I'm outta here from now on too. I'm sure I'm about to be bashed for my honest opinion, and it's just not worth my time.

Yes, they can. But it is a felony and I hope...
they catch them and throw the book at them, and I would say that if Obama's or Biden's had been hacked. It is against the law. Period.
LOL....I think I would fail on all counts (sm)
as well as on grammar and my inability to multitask.  I was talking on the phone when I wrote that last post, looked back at it after I posted it and was astounded.  LOL
Okay, give him a pass on the felony...
just like other Clintonites. Just an FYI, Laura Bush has worked with the Initiative to bring water to 10 million people in Africa. Imagine that. A BUSH. Part of the Initiative is also something that George Bush asked former President Clinton and his father former President Bush to work on...Katrina Relief. Imagine that...GEORGE BUSH'S idea. Say it ain't so. I'd like to know how much of Bill Clinton's own money is in his foundation. I would be REAL interested to know that. But, I digress. Yes, is foundation is doing good work, I don't deny that. He is not doing it alone and has worked with all three of the Bushes as part of it. So, let's please not act like he is the hero for the masses all by himself and George Bush has a black soul. The way Clinton used Monica Lewinsky and then threw her under the bus when he got caught, cheated on his wife and committed a felony while a sitting President...is much more indicative of soul problems than anything Bush has done. Let's be real here. As far as Bill Clinton trying to save the world...please. Bill Clinton is trying to save his legacy.
The point was....perpetuating a felony and further...
posting links to illegally obtained material is not particularly ethical.
Just to clarify, inciting one is a felony. sm
That would include just warning people to get their money out. They warn us about this in discussions we have in finance forums.

Washington Mutual was limiting or refusing withdrawals to depositors. I am not leaving my money in the bank, only enough to keep the account open. I do not want them making money off me. For every $1,000 you leave in the bank, they create $10,000 in credit, and debt is our biggest problem.
If it's a felony to incite a bank run, then
shouldn't these people on Wall Street be prosecuted?  After all, if they hadn't done what they did to the economy, then we wouldn't have to withdraw our money.
The volunteers are crucial for honest counts sm.
By throwing them out, there were no witnesses. I read they were also harrassed and intimidated by the lawyers in the Hillary camp. Hillary had a 7% swing in the vote only in precincts using Diebold electronic voting machines, and not anywhere using hand counts. Diebold is very hackable. Perhaps, Obama should not have conceded so quickly. There are people keeping very detailed data on this as they put the information up I will post it here. One is Bev Harris. Vote fraud has been confirmed from last night in Sutton, NH.
Rahm Emanuel counts as his mentors...
From what I can see about the Democratic Leadership Counsel is they think Democrats should adopt the more centrist view when the run for something...the way Obama did. Obama is a far left liberal, his voting record says it, his history says it. But that is not the way he ran his campaign.

Rahm Emanuel was totally immersed in the Chicago political machine and counts Richard Daley as a mentor. There is a centrist for you.

as to his supporting the Iraq War....I believe that comes from his militant pro-Israel stance, not from any support of Bush. I think anyone who looks at his history knows that. And anyone who knows him knows how he stands on Israel, so I am assuming that is A-ok with Mr. Obama. It might cause some concern for Hamas though...they might withdraw their endorsement.

Chief of Staff is a title and I know you are not naive enough to think that Emanuel will not have Obama's ear, probably before anyone else.

A little on Mr. Emanuel: "At this point of his political career he was known for his intensity. Notably, he reportedly told British Prime Minister Tony Blair, prior to Blair appearing in public with Clinton for the first time after the Lewinsky scandal, "This is important. Don't fu*k it up."[17] Emanuel is said to have "mailed a rotting fish to a former coworker after the two parted ways."[16] On the night after the 1996 election, "Emanuel was so angry at the president's enemies that he stood up at a celebratory dinner with colleagues from the campaign, grabbed a steak knife and began rattling off a list of betrayers, shouting 'Dead! ... Dead! ... Dead!' and plunging the knife into the table after every name."[2] His "take-no-prisoners attitude" earned him the nickname "Rahm-bo".[16]

I think even his mother called him that...lol.

People who worked with Emanuel at that time "insist the once hard-charging staffer has mellowed out."

Let's hope he mellowed out. Not a lot of impeccable discretion going on THERE.

He left the White House to accept a well-paid position at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein investment bank in Chicago, where he worked from 1999 to 2002 and reportedly earned US$18 million.[18]

Hmmm...$18 mil in 3 years. Not bad.
I thought the Democrats were the party of EVERY VOTE COUNTS....
I guess that only applies to certain situations? Amusing, to say the least. Wonder how they would be feeling right now if Obama were leading for delegates in those states?? LOL. Ahem. Sooo transparent.
Bush was sort of in national guard but never showed for the physical... that counts? Cheney was nev
duh?? ya'll?
Bristol might not want to be a celeb

Wasn't it nice for Jamie Lynn to support her?  NOT!  Big Ole Not!  But it's a private matter, but I bet she puts Jamie Lynn's expensive bib on her new baby!  What is this world coming to?  And you all say celebs and politicians don't mix!  Even Dr. Phil has something to say...

Bristol also stated that she would...
have preferred getting pregnant 10 years later, having finished her college education and having landed a job.
Sounds to me that she was prevented to make her choice.
They should all be arrested
I don't know what's more disgusting them telling us one thing however long ago that was (that FMFM was doing okay when they knew it wasn't) and they made fortunes off of it, or them trying to cover it up by saying its all the republicans fault and we are free and clear from all blame. What a line of crock! Bill O'Reilly was right in what he did. What should happen is these people (Franks, Dodd & Cox and all the others who benefitted) should be forced to sit in front of a panel and not be allowed to spew one word of their lies. While they are told why what they did was wrong. They are criminals and should be treated like criminals.

I say throw the whole lot of em in jail!
In Bristol's house, choice was never
Who know's? If she had felt comfortable enough to come to her mother about birth control, she may not now be in the position to (In Palin's own word) "grow up faster than we had ever thought." Furthermore, this begs the question of sex education taboos, both in the household and in the schools, parental controls over acess to education, the judgment involved in making these decision about access to education and birth control and so forth. Guess Plain was having a bit of difficulty balancing her priorities while governor. Of course, lost in the shuffle is the fact that no one will ever know how Bristol feels about her siutation, the decisions that she may or may not have made herself and the national spotlight she now finds herself in. This coming out of the ethics-housekeeper's own house. Unwittingly, she has really shone a brand new light on herself and the issues at hand. Way to go, Palin. John McCain probably knows by now that maybe he should have done a bit more homework before he got himself and his party into this pickle.
Bristol betrothed to (*&%* redneck

Already intensely caricatured, Mrs Palin and her family face heavy exposure as the US and international media attempt to fill the vacuum of information about the relatively little-known 44-year-old mother of five.

The most recent revelations surround the announcement that her teenage daughter, Bristol, was pregnant.

In a statement, Mrs Palin, who is avowedly pro-life, said Bristol intended to have the baby and would marry the father, Levi Johnston.

Johnston has described himself on his MySpace page as "a f***ing redneck", the New York Post reports. "But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s*** and just f***in' chillin' I guess," the 18-year-old hockey player wrote.

"Ya f --- with me I'll kick [your] a$$."

His My Space page has since been removed.

Johnston also wrote: "I don't want kids."

If you insist, we could always bring Bristol
unlike McC's supporters, I actually listen to my candidate when he says off limits. You are too covered with mud to realize he was defending your idiotic VP candidate and trying to shield her and her family from the glare of some VERY unfavorable media. The only chickens around this roost coming back are the ones that W set loose in the coop. I'll pass on following up the skeletons in McC's closet out of respect for my candidate's feelings. REAL American family values tell us not to go there.
Bristol Palin's Due Date
According to Levi Johnson, the baby daddy, Bristol Palin's due date is TODAY, December 18. It'll be interesting to see and hear what happens or doesn't happen in the next couple of weeks.

Here's how desperate the GOP is: During their convention, in September the religious family-values party trotted out an unwed teenage mother-to-be and the knucklehead who knocked her up, and they gave them a standing ovation.
Bristol Palin interview...(sm)
Looks like Bristol is going to be the complete opposite of her mother.  In the interview she said that abstinence is "not realistic."  Good for her!  Another thing that got my attention was the use of the word "choice" when speaking about her decision to have the child.   Hmmm....

Do not patronize. Bristol has no real voice here.
She, her baby and her husband be living their private lives out on the alter of sacrifice for the sake of SP, regardless of how the news got out there. It's out now and mom's ambitions played just as much role in this tragedy as any rumor factory you will repeatedly try to use as a scapegoat. No need to beat this dead horse and repeat youself a thousand times tonight. The media will not show restraint and the internet, even less. We will all have our bellies full of this as the convention grinds on. One thing is certain, Palin just rained on her own parade.
Does not matter. The problem is he was arrested for it. nm

Jeb Bush's son arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest

The Associated Press

September 16. 2005 5:32PM

John Ellis Bush, the youngest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, was arrested early Friday and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest, law enforcement officials in Texas said.

The 21-year-old nephew of President Bush was arrested by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission at 2:30 a.m. Friday on a corner of Austin's Sixth Street bar district, said spokesman Roger Wade.

John Ellis Bush was released on $2,500 bond for resisting arrest, and on a personal recognizance bond for the public intoxication charge, officials said.

Alia Faraj, the spokeswoman for Jeb Bush said the incident is a personal family matter which the governor and his wife are dealing with privately.

It's not the first time Florida's first family has experienced legal problems with one of their children.

Noelle Bush, the governor's daughter, was arrested in January 2002 and was accused of trying to pass a fraudulent prescription at a Tallahassee pharmacy to obtain the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. She completed a drug rehabilitation program in August 2003 and a judge dismissed the drug charges against her.

Noelle Bush was sent to jail twice for violating rules during her rehab stint. She was jailed for three days in July 2002 after being caught with prescription pills and served 10 days a month later after being accused of having a small rock of crack cocaine in her shoe

Bush Official Arrested in Corruption Probe

Bush Official Arrested in Corruption Probe

By R. Jeffrey Smith and Susan Schmidt

The Bush administration's top federal procurement official resigned Friday and was arrested yesterday, accused of lying and obstructing a criminal investigation into Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff's dealings with the federal government. It was the first criminal complaint filed against a government official in the ongoing corruption probe related to Abramoff's activities in Washington.

The complaint, filed by the FBI, alleges that David H. Safavian, 38, a White House procurement official involved until last week in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, made repeated false statements to government officials and investigators about a golf trip with Abramoff to Scotland in 2002.

Procurement
Procurement chief David H. Safavian was connected to probe of lobbyist Jack Abramoff. (Melina Mara/twp - Twp)

It also contends that he concealed his efforts to help Abramoff acquire control of two federally managed properties in the Washington area. Abramoff is the person identified as Lobbyist A in a 13-page affidavit unsealed in court, according to sources knowledgeable about the probe.

Until his resignation on the day the criminal complaint against him was signed, Safavian was the top administrator at the federal procurement office in the White House Office of Management and Budget, where he set purchasing policy for the entire government.

The arrest occurred at his home in Alexandria. A man who answered the phone there yesterday hung up when a reporter asked to speak to Safavian.

Abramoff was indicted by federal prosecutors in Miami last month on unrelated charges of wire fraud and conspiracy. He remains the linchpin of an 18-month probe by a federal task force that includes the Internal Revenue Service, the Interior Department and the Justice Department's fraud and public integrity units. His lawyer did not respond to phone calls seeking comment.

Abramoff's allegedly improper dealings with Indian tribes -- which netted him and an associate at least $82 million in fees -- prompted the federal probe. But investigators have found that his documents and e-mails contain a trove of information about his aggressive efforts to seek favors for clients from members of Congress and senior bureaucrats.

Accompanying Safavian and Abramoff on the 2002 trip to Scotland, for example, were Rep. Robert W. Ney (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Administration Committee, lobbyist and former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed and Neil Volz, a lobbyist with Abramoff at the Washington office of Greenburg Traurig.

Like Abramoff, Safavian is a veteran Washington player. He is a former lobbying partner of anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist and previously worked with Abramoff at another firm. Both he and Abramoff have represented gambling clients and Indian tribes with gambling interests.

At the time of the golf trip, Safavian was chief of staff at the General Services Administration, where ethics rules flatly prohibited the receipt of a gift from any person seeking an official action by the agency. When Safavian asked GSA ethics officers for permission to go on the trip, he assured them in writing that Abramoff has no business before GSA, according to the affidavit signed by FBI special agent Jeffrey A. Reising.

Reising alleged, however, that Abramoff had by then already secretly enlisted Safavian in an effort to buy 40 acres of land that GSA managed in Silver Spring for use as the campus of a Hebrew school Abramoff founded. Safavian also allegedly tried to help Abramoff lease space for Abramoff's clients in an old post office building downtown.

On July 22, 2002, Abramoff sent Safavian an e-mail with a proposed draft letter that at least two members of Congress could send to GSA supporting the lease, according to the affidavit. Does this work, or do you want it to be longer? Abramoff asked.

Three days later, Safavian forwarded Abramoff an e-mail describing how an employee at OMB was resisting Abramoff's plan to lease space at the post office. I suspect we'll end up having to bring some Hill pressure to bear on OMB, Safavian messaged Abramoff.

On the same day Safavian discussed the golf trip with the ethics office, he sent an e-mail to Abramoff from his home computer, advising him how to lay out a case for this lease. Abramoff subsequently wrote in an e-mail to his wife and two officials of the school that Safavian had shown him a map of the property at his GSA office but had cautioned that Abramoff should not visit again given my high profile politically.

Safavian nonetheless arranged a meeting for Abramoff's wife and business partner with officials at GSA on the day before he departed for Scotland aboard Abramoff's chartered jet. The trip cost more than $120,000 and was paid for mostly by a charity founded and run by Abramoff, the Capital Athletic Foundation.

When Safavian was questioned by The Washington Post about the trip in January, he said he paid his share of the expenses and took unpaid leave. The trip was exclusively personal; I did no business there. . . . Jack is an old friend of mine, Safavian said.

But the complaint alleges that Safavian lied about his contacts with Abramoff on three occasions after his initial false pledge to the GSA ethics officer. The first was during a 2003 investigation by GSA's inspector general, who was responding to an anonymous tipster's hotline complaint; the second was in a March 17, 2005, letter to the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs; and the third was during an FBI interview on May 26, 2005.

Corrupt liberal democrat Governor arrested.
Of course no surprise here. Why is it every day we see nothing but corrupt liberal after corrupt liberal? This is good though. Why can't liberals just be honest? It only supports the theory that liberals are mentally derranged.
Fox News Producer Arrested for Child Porn
Newser reports this morning that Fox News producer Aaron Bruns has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography and will appear in court this afternoon. Bruns was embedded with the Hillary Clinton campaign and has been employed by Fox since 1999. According to Fishbowl DC ,Fox News only began background checks on its staff in 2003. Must suck to be HR at Fox right now, as the same source provides this link to a 1999 article about Bruns' arrest on charges of distributing child pornography whle he was in college. According to detectives, Bruns had thousands of pornographic images stored on his pc, including many explicitly sexual photos of children, which he was trading via internet chat rooms.

So tell me - what political office does Levi Johnson and Bristol Palin hold -sm
Answer: None. What contract did they sign? Answer: None. If they did sign a contract like you said they did, I'd like to see the paper with their signatures on it. This post has nothing to do with the job that Gov. Palin is doing. It has nothing to do with what she is doing in her office, politics, or for the people of Alaska. It is not talking about issues that affect our lives on a daily basis (like skyrocketing taxes, unemployment, people losing homes, etc). This post is about as juvenile as they come. Again you need to take this to the gab board or a website that speaks of such juvenile issues.

Last I knew Sarah Palin was not exploiting anything right now. She has gone back to Alaska and is no longer running for VP for an election that has ended. And if you want to talk about exploiting children lets talk about Biden and that grandson he grabbed up and held onto everytime a camera came into site. It was like watching George with Kuato attached to his chest from the movie Total Recall. Now that there is a crat prop if I ever saw one.

If you hate Palin so much then fine. At least have the decency to pick on her for something she did. Levi Johnson and Bristol Palin do not hold any political office and they did not sign any contracts so that they could be bashed and harrassed the rest of their lives.

You said it "if you are looking for a more intelligent read, I suggest you start reading comic books". So you even admit that your posts are less intelligent than comic books.

I would suggest you and others that want to continue this juvenile discussion there are still issues of Archie and Veronica and Veronica and Betty comic books out there you could read too.

As for non-political issues (i.e. Levi Johnson and Bristol Palin's personal lives) take it to the gab board or a teenager website where you could discuss til your hearts content. Leave this board for political discussions.

And give it a rest. We are sick of non-political issues on this board.
Murder charges for 3 U.S. soldiers..sm
I have mixed feelings about this y'all. There is no doubt in my mind that mental issues are involved given the situation. However, they could have just been following orders. Or, worse just murdered the Iraqis on their own volition and threatened a fellow soldier.

Definitely worth the investigation, which sends the message that we (the US) does not tolerate this type behavior from our soldiers.

Murder charges for 3 U.S. soldiers
They are accused of killing 3 Iraqis

Julian E. Barnes, Los Angeles Times

Tuesday, June 20, 2006
(06-20) 04:00 PDT Washington -- Three U.S. soldiers have been charged with the premeditated murder of three Iraqi detainees as well as with threatening the life of a fellow soldier who they feared would challenge their accounts of the deaths, military officials said Monday.

The three Americans were identified as staff Sgt. Raymond L. Girouard, Spc. William B. Hunsaker and Pfc. Corey R. Clagett, all members of the 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division. They were charged with shooting the detainees May 9 during a military operation near Thar Thar Canal in Salahuddin province north of Baghdad.

A murder conviction in the military carries the possibility of the death penalty. The accused soldiers are being held in Kuwait, a Pentagon official said. No personal information was available Monday about the soldiers.

The latest charges come as the military is conducting a separate investigation of the killing of 24 civilians in Haditha in November. Military investigators are examining possible murder charges against a group of Marines for those deaths. In addition, seven other marines and a Navy corpsman are being held in the brig at Camp Pendleton (San Diego County) in connection with the death of an Iraqi man in another town, Hamandiya. Since the start of the Iraq war, the military has brought criminal charges against at least 20 other service members in deaths of Iraqis.

Military officials first mentioned the Salahuddin investigation in a brief news release June 16. But details of how the three soldiers shot the men, near the Muthana Chemical Complex, have remained sketchy. The military has not said why the three Iraqis were being detained.

In addition to murder, the soldiers were charged with conspiracy and with threatening another soldier. Military officials said the accused initially reported they shot the detainees while they were trying to flee.

But that account was contradicted by a junior soldier who saw the shooting. Defense Department charge sheets released Monday identify the object of the threats as Bradley Mason, an Army private first class. The legal papers do not specify whether Mason is the soldier who witnessed the killings.

The accused soldiers are charged with threatening to kill Mason on May 29, as the group was traveling from its own operating base to Camp Speicher, near Tikrit, where the Criminal Investigation Division has an office.

You better not say anything, or I swear I will kill you, Girouard allegedly told Mason, according to charge sheets.

Girouard is accused of threatening to kill Mason six different times in the weeks after the detainees died. Hunsaker is accused of threatening Mason four times, and Clagett twice.

They face a hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for a court-martial. The first proceeding, known as an Article 32 hearing, is likely several weeks away, a military officer said.

The military has not executed anyone since April 1961, but nine people are on death row, including a sergeant in the 101st Airborne who killed two officers and wounded 14 soldiers in Kuwait in March 2003.
No offense taken. The charges she made sm
are based on the evidence, which is overwhelming. Popular Mechanics definitely did not debunk it. I think it shattered her belief system, just like it did mine.
Bush and rape charges....
He was never charged. A very mentally ill woman filed a lawsuit. I outlined it above. The one against Reagan was never a charge either....was in that Kitty Kelley rag of a book. Never substantiated.

Cindy Sheehan not allowed to watch SOU address, was arrested.
Curiously, CNN reported that Cindy had UNFURLED A BANNER INSIDE THE CHAMBER WHICH IS AGAINST THE STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS RULES.

Half an hour later we learn that no such thing happened. Cindy simply wore a T-shirt with an antiwar message on it and was promptly hauled off to jail.

In Bushworld, you can not only be arrested and hauled off to jail for wearing a controversial T-shirt, but the major media will also make up ridiculous lies about you and broadcast them world-wide. That's some performance for a liberal press. But oh ho ho, we were all being so paranoid four years ago to claim that the press was a willing servant of deliberate Rovian disinformation spinmeisters. Once again, we are right on the mark and the Repubs? - blind and wrong and misdirected as usual - let us count the many things about which the progressive thinking people of this nation have been absolutely correct, and the Bush supporters oh so regrettably wrong. Wow, it would take pages and pages!

Can't tell them anything though - they can't admit it when they are wrong. The way things are going, they're going to deny us right into the communist USSR of 1965 - the state our teachers used to scare us about in 1965 - and we would think, oh, how awful to live in a place where the government controls all the media, where protestors are thrown in jail, where you have to be worried about speaking above a whisper if you criticize the government, because your own neighbor will turn you in! Oh those poor people, having their mail opened and never being able to see any real news, only what the govt. wants them to see!

But of course that was back in the days when dissent was patriotic, when Americans didn't spy on each other, when the govt. could not throw you in jail without a trial, when even Presidents had to resign if they wiretapped you without a warrant. You know, the OLD America, when nobody was above the law and citizens were shocked when the lies and deceit and self-serving greed of elected officials was exposed, instead of sniggering and giggling behind their hands about how bold their guys are, and ain't it grand they're still in charge.

Gee, I really miss it - was good while it lasted, and something to tell the grandkids about.

I wonder if there is any member of the GOP who is able to accept these realities and own up to just a fraction of this despicable behavior? His inevitable legacy as the worst US President of all time does not even begin to address the justice he deserves.
Drug companies
Why is it that other countries have American made medications so much cheaper than America.  The argument has been well we pay the extra amount so drug companies can do research.  Why us?  We are expected to pay more for medications and also health benefits when other countries have universal healthcare and lower drug costs.  It isnt right that Americans foot the bill for the world to enjoy the medications we produce at less cost than us.  It isnt right that Americans have to go bankrupt when faced with a major illness because either their healthcare is inadequate or they dont have healthcare.  If this administration really cared about what Americans need most, they wouldnt be talking about Social Security, they would be devising a universal health plan for all Americans.  Some say that would be socialized medicine.  Heck, when you dont have any health coverage, socialized medicine is better than nothing.
Only the lie about not being a drug abuser...

Teen charged with threats

Middle-school boy e-mailed theats to officials

FLORENCE - A 13-year-old Ockerman Middle School student has been charged with threatening George W. Bush, just days before the president is set to throw the first pitch for Reds Opening Day in Cincinnati.

The teen - described by a police investigator as a student of presidential politics - remained in the custody of his mother Tuesday afternoon at their Florence home.

He is charged with one felony count of terroristic threatening.

He is extremely well versed in the history of President Bush, Florence police Capt. Linny Cloyd said. In talking with him, you can tell this is a hot-button topic with him.

Cloyd launched an investigation after Florence Mayor Diane Whalen received an anonymous threatening e-mail. Cloyd and Whalen refused to give a more detailed account of the threats or release the e-mails.

As investigators worked to track down the sender, a second e-mail arrived in Whalen's city e-mail account. That e-mail threatened Bush and was also sent to the White House, Vice President Cheney and the Pentagon.

If the teen was just looking for attention, he certainly got it, said Whalen, who doesn't know the teen or his parents. I think the key thing here is you can't ignore any threat in these times.

Cloyd went to the teen's home Monday evening with agents from the FBI and Secret Service.

He is a student of the present administration, Cloyd said. He described the teen as in tune with current political affairs.

We asked him what brought him to this point, Cloyd said. He didn't have an answer he was willing to share with us.

Cloyd said the teen's parents consented to a search of the home, and investigators did not find anything, such as weapons, that led them to believe the teen was intending to carry out the threats.

Investigators seized a computer from the home. Cloyd said additional charges might hinge on what's recovered from the hard drive.

Mom was shocked, Cloyd said. That would lead me to believe, if the parents are politically active, it isn't in the same manner at all. He said the teen acted alone, and there is no evidence anyone else is involved

Investigators said the teen will appear in Boone Family Court within two weeks.

911 widow charges Bush in RICO suit.sm
911 Victim Ellen Mariani Open Letter To The POTUS
Thursday, 27 November 2003
Press Release: Ellen Mariani Lawsuit
=======================================
Open Letter To The President Of The United States

Mr. Bush,

This ''open letter'' is coming from my heart. I want you to know that I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat and that this is not an attempt to ''bash the Government''.

You Mr. Bush should be held responsible and liable for any and all acts that were committed to aid in any cover up of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. As President you have a duty to protect the American people. On September 11th you did not instruct your staff to issue a nationwide emergency warning/alert to advise us of the attack on America. We had to receive the news of the attacks via the news networks.

In the months leading up to the attacks you were repeatedly advised of a possible attack on American soil. During your daily intelligence briefings you were given information that had been uncovered that the very real possibility existed that certain undesirable elements would use commercial aircraft to destroy certain target buildings. You never warned the American people of this possible threat. Who were you protecting?

When you took no responsibility towards protecting the general public from the possibility of attack, you were certainly not upholding the oath you spoke when you took office. In that oath you pledged to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

On the morning of the attack, you and members of your staff were fully aware of the unfolding events yet you chose to continue on to the Emma E. Booker Elementary School to proceed with a scheduled event and photo op. While our nation was under attack you did not appear to blink an eye or shed a tear. You continued on as if everything was business as usual.

In the days following the attacks all air traffic was grounded and Americans, including myself, were stranded wherever they had been when the flight ban was imposed. I was stranded at Midway Airport in Chicago, unable to continue on to California for my daughter's wedding. Imagine my surprise when I later found out that during this no fly period a number of people were flown out of the country on a 747 with Arabic lettering on the fuselage. None of these people were interviewed or questioned by any local, State or Federal agencies. Why were they allowed to leave and who exactly was on that flight. We know for a fact that some of the people on the flight were members of (or related to) the royal family of Saudi Arabia and members of the Bin Laden family. Were these people allowed to leave because of the long-standing relationships that your family has with both families?

It is my belief that you intentionally allowed 9/11 to happen to gather public support for a war on terrorism. These wars, in Afghanistan and Iraq, have not accomplished what you stated were your goals. Why have you not captured Osama Bin Laden? Where are Saddam's weapons of mass destruction? All that has happened is a bill that is passed before Congress for 87 billion dollars to rebuild what you ordered blown to bits. As an American who lost a loved one in the war on terror I do pray and support our troops who were sent to Afghanistan and Iraq by you. These troops have and will continue to die for your lies. As an American I can make this statement as it appears that associates of your family may stand to prosper from the rebuilding of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mr. Bush the time has come for you to stop your control over us. Stop blocking the release of certain evidence and documents that were discovered by the 9/11 Investigation Commission if you have nothing to hide proving you did not fail to act and prevent the attacks of 9/11. Your reason for not releasing this material is that it is a matter of national security. When in fact I believe that it is your personal credibility/security that you are concerned with. You do not want the public to know the full extent of your responsibility and involvement.

After 9/11 the Patriot Act and Homeland Security Act were passed. Both of these allow the government to tap your telephone, search your home, and seize whatever they feel they need to do on a whim. They can do this without a judge's review or a warrant. I feel that this is in direct conflict with our rights as stated in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

We the families of 9/11 victims need to have answers to the following questions:

1. Why were 29 pages of the 9/11committee report personally censored at your request?

2. Where are the black boxes from Flight 11 and Flight 175?

3. Where are the voice recorders from Flight 11 and Flight 175?

4. Why can't we gain access to the complete air traffic control records for Flight 11 and Flight 175?

5. Where are the airport surveillance tapes that show the passengers boarding the doomed flights?

6. When will complete passenger lists for all of the flights be released?

7. Why did your brother Jeb (the Governor of Florida) go to the offices of the Hoffman Aviation School and order that flight records and files be removed? These files were then put on a C130 government cargo plane and flown out of the country. Where were they taken and who ordered it done?

It has been over two years since hundreds of our lost loved ones remains have still yet to be identified and their remains placed in a landfill at Fresh Kill. We want our heroes brought back and given a public and proud resting place where we all can pay our respects and honor them. These innocent people never had a chance as they were taken from us on that sad September Day.

In the court of public opinion Mr. Bush, your lies are being uncovered each day. My husband, all of the other victims and their families and our nation as a whole, has been victimized by your failed leadership prior to and after 9/11!

I will prove this in a court of law!

Ellen M. Mariani ###
