Makes you wonder who's been visiting (advising) him
There's some reason he doesn't want you to know who's been slumming at the WH these days.
This happened in 2005. He was a visiting speaker...
to the church and Palin attended that service. She has not been a member of that church since 2002 and that man has never been her pastor. He did lay hands on and pray for her; nothing wrong with that. This is what she said about it:

In video footage of the speech, she is seen saying: “As I was mayor and Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how he speaks and he’s so bold. And he was praying “Lord make a way, Lord make a way.”
“And I’m thinking, this guy’s really bold, he doesn’t even know what I’m going to do, he doesn’t know what my plans are. And he’s praying not “oh Lord if it be your will may she become governor,” no, he just prayed for it. He said “Lord make a way and let her do this next step. And that’s exactly what happened.”

Where is bad judgment in that? Christians often pray with each other about decisions or just to help each other, period. We are granted that right by the constitution...the free exercise of which is not to be prohibited. Are you saying it is bad judgment to exercise your constitutional rights inside a church? What about that video was so disturbing to you? You are okay with Obama's connection to Jeremiah Wright and you know what he preached. Doesn't that also go to judgment?
I am also an OB nurse and disagree.
My conviction that life--even prenatal life--is sacred was the determining factor in my choice to vote for McCain. If you know what you believe and follow your conscience on this one issue the rest of it will fall into place.

Viable babies up to 28 weeks (and beyond with a little fudging) are aborted every day where I live and work. My girlfriend and I took turns holding one in the NICU that was expelled alive and legally required rescusitation attempts, until she quit gasping an hour and a half later. I do believe parents should see the result of their actions, not as a form of punishment but as a form of education.
In my professional experience as an OB nurse...sm
your views wherever you learned them from are way too extreme. No 9 month babies are murdered, period! I will not get into the whole thing in detail with you now, but believe me I have first hand knowledge about this. I am telling you this because I am Catholic and a prolifer. I want Roe vs Wade to be overturned. HOWEVER, with the condition our country is in today, the immediate concerns for the survival of our economy, the war, national security, etc. I choose to vote for someone that I think can give me change and hope for the future and turn things around for ordinary Americans. I want our taxes to be for good not for war. We have been duped for too long by the people with power and money. If you can for a minute put away your right to life views and make your decision based on every other issue that is important, who would you vote for. That is how I made my decision to vote for Obama. I will continue my prolife advocacy but will not base my vote solely on those beliefs.
Nope, OB/NICU nurse and midwife
