The reason I posted is because it's a fact that snopes is not a credible source to get your information from. Snopes is run by a couple of leftwingers. They interject their opinion and try to debunk things that are most definitely true. One being that they would say certain things were hoaxes when in fact they were true and we know this because we'd pull up Youtube and there it was right on camera. Example: Snopes said that the email going around that the O is going to cut back veterans benefits is a hoax. The fact is it was not a hoax. I was watching a talk show and a lady in the Obama administration said it's true and that she was not happy about it, but "blah, blah, blah" (give some lame excuse as to why they were doing it). Hence...snopes outright lied about information that is true. The couple that runs snopes are not credible sources for any truth. They are a couple with an agenda and I'm sure get paid plenty for it.
That was the reason for my post - because anyone who tries to back up what they want uses the excuse "check it out on snopes first". Well snopes has been debunked on many issues. They put out false things that benefit the left wingers and demonize anyone who has a conservative or moderate point of view.
It's just very simple. Snopes is not a credible source for truth or fiction. If you want to find out the truth check multiple sources (and don't even try to pull a "Fox news thing" because I'm not suggesting anything about Fox news. I'm saying check out multiple sources. Do not just stick with one source. And certainly not snopes!!!

I also saw the part where she was fired for using the credit cards for her own personal use. I thought others might like to see the article and read it for themselves since it is a topic for discussion today. I would say with her being fired, that demeans her credibility. Obama is requiring community service not military service. Community service is a constructive way to spend time and energy. War is a destructive way to spend time and energy.
Obama also said that he would provide a college education to anyone who volunteers to do community service. This can only help make the United States a stronger and better nation. It sounds like a wonderful plan to me!

to back up her claims. I don't need to research this further. I was a 40+ grown-up when the confirmation hearings were held and I remember them vividly, since it was one of the most blatent miscarriages of justice I have witnessed first-hand in my entire life. I was a bit more naive back then but now, of course, I understand completely how the Bushes operate and how this could have happened under their watch.

All you have to do is read up on Marxism, read up on...
black liberation theology, and look at what Obama is proposing. All of it a matter of public record, most of it from his own mouth. Your denial of it does not change the facts. If you support socialism, vote for him. Certainly your right. You are already wanting to squelch any kind of dissent...what's up with that? If you seriously consider calling someone a socialist a smear, you really need to read up on your candidate. I did not post a smear, I posted a fact. Redistribution of wealth is socialist and he already said he was going to do it...I heard him say it and it is now a campaign commercial. Sigh.

I've read it and can't tell if it is a more favorable article towards the republicans or democrats, so don't have anything to argue about that. However, the study only worked on 45 people? They are basing a study on just 45 people when the US is made up of 301,139,947 people (as of Jul 07). Like I say, I can't tell by the article which political group this benefits but it just seems to be an unreasonable basis to base the way a whole country votes on just 45 people (and all from the same region of the US) - again not sure if Nebraska is more liberal or conservative. Just seems like an invalid study to me.

I'm sorry that I didn't save the link to the video clip I mentioned. I did a search for Obama messiah on Youtube just now and I didn't find the one I mentioned. Much to my surprise there were tons of such videos with accusations. What I did find was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FyEZdy-Rag&feature=related (Again, I don't know how to make a link but copy and paste in your browser. It appears to be the real deal. I didn't watch it all the way through as I am really, really busy today, so you can watch it and draw your own conclusions.
If you go to youtube and search for Obama messiah you'll probably find the original one I was talking about which I believe to be a fake. The above link, appears to me to be Obama himself in his own voice with his recognizable body language.
