Sounds like a lot of negative energy lost in space.

Have you always been this hostile toward
just curious
So, ho wlong have you been feeling this hostile
some might conclude that the candidate with a double-digit lead would be the stronger of the two, but that logic evidently escapes you.
Obama will do just fine with hostile leaders.
Actually, understanding Islamic principles will serve the man of his intelligence quite well when up against either Ahmadinejad or with Israel. Obama knows exactly what to do with facing hostility. He certainly has faced enough of it on the home front here during the filthy word wars waged by the media and in fanatic chat room posts and has demonstrated the capacity to stoop to those low levels with the best of them. However, beyond the election, he will have not use for such petty, meaningless tactics and strategies. He is calm, collected and calculated in his responses, or lack there of, and has an uncanny ability to be conciliatory without having to compromise his basic values or objectives. Will be a breath of fresh air to see somebody at least try an approach that is not designed to promote US imperialism, world economic domination or the war of the civilizations.

Second paragraph of your post. It's all in the perspective, point-of-view and public perceptions. Being a good democrat does not necessarily make him a Washington insider, despite his long career. It only means that he knows his way around there and that his constituents continue to send him back there election, after election after election. Somebody somewhere must like him a lot. No further comment on your personal opinion. Sour grapes over an excellent pick. Let's see if McCain can show as much good judgment.

See the pattern here?

This person isn't here to contribute anything worthwhile to a debate.  He/she is only here to attack.  There is not ONE post on this board posted by this person that has to do with issues.  Every single post is an attack on the poster.

They're simply not worthy of a response, Democrat.  If they are ignored and offered no response, then all they can do is take swipes at one or more posters.  If we try to defend ourselves, then it's going to be translated by them as us attacking them.  The only purpose this poster has is to attack and bait, and I personally have elected to not give him/her the satisfaction of a response because I don't want to fuel this kind of behavior on this board.  They're trying to turn this into the Conservative board, and I think we're better than that.  Let's show them by example what it's like to be respectable, tolerant human beings who don't necessarily have to agree on every issue but who respect others' opinions and are open minded and can debate issues without stooping to their level of attacking other posters simply because their opinions might differ.

Sure do see the pattern.
It's been going on for a long time.  I'm glad most Americans are starting to wake up.  I want to have access to all sides of the issue so I can form my own independent opinion, realizing, as you said, there are two sides to every story and also realizing I may not have access to all sides, since America has a president who doesn't care so much for the First Amendment.  As for this board, when they don't have an intelligent response to offer, all they can do is resort to name calling, as you've correctly pointed out.
Is all right, seems to be a pattern.
Piglet here under new name for new year. Staunch conservatives have no sense of humor and refuse to admit when they are wrong. Ever notice that not much is said when a post is right on the money? They only jump on the band wagon when they feel defensive. I call it posturing.
And the pattern continues.

Another swiftboating of a hero.  Anyone who dares to disapprove of Bush's actions can expect to be dragged through the mud.

I wonder how many innocent  Americans who simply disagree with Bush have been spied upon and deemed terrorists for merely disagreeing with his flawed policies.  We'll never know because Bush refuses to obey the law and use warrants that would spell out probable cause for such surveillance.  :-(

A New Stitch in a Bad Pattern

Summary
McCain's new ad puts another stitch in what we've called his pattern of deceit on Obama's tax plan. This one claims Obama and congressional Democrats plan to push forward "painful tax increases on working American families" and that they will bring about "years of deficits," "no balanced budgets" and "billions in new government spending."

The ad is plain wrong about higher taxes on working families. In fact, Obama's economic plan would produce a tax cut for the majority of American households, with middle-income earners benefiting most. As for "years of deficits," exactly the same claim could be made about McCain's program. It's unlikely either Obama or McCain would balance the budget, and both are projected to increase the debt by trillions.

Huh? Care to clarify this incoherence?
su
This kind of incoherence can be trashed
You don't have what it takes to debate political issues on their merits, but rather hide bedhind petty sarcasm, smirks and platitudes. You're no match for me. Get lost, loser.
Incoherence must be contagious in the McCain camp.
Isn't that interesting? Just how rested would you be after 3 weeks staight of 2 or 3 plane trips a day across the country and back again during a heated primary season? Being a nonsmoker is not a qualification for the presidency. Are you seriously trying to get political traction by reminding us how Obama lost his mom to ovarian cancer in her early 50's? Just how desperate are you guys anyway? You've been watching too much Hannity. By the way, how's that economic plan coming along out of the McCain camp these days? Mum's the word, it seems. The polls tell us just how well that is working for ya.
Incoherence is a contagious disease in McC camp

Does anyone here speak McCain supporter incoherence?
