No - its not for certain that a rapists child would become a rapist.

Yes - it is known that behaviors are passed down from generation to generation (alcoholism, violence, etc). It is known that if a child grows up in a home where the husband is abusive to the wife, that child will more than likely be abusive to his wife when he becomes an adult.

I'm not saying for sure that a rapist's child would be a rapist themselve when they grow up, but the possibility is there. I know I would not want to raise a rapists child wondering if they will turn out the same when they grow up.
