Maybe you could get a 3rd grader to explain it to you.
Then you could laugh along with the rest of us.
SO WHAT?? That's what my sixth grader says when he can't reason something out.

SP scores F on third grader's question

Answer:  "They're in charge of the US Senate and get to make a lot of good policies that make our lives letter!"  Flash pearly whites, wink, wink!  Looks like she hasn't done her homework from August.  Constitutionally challenged VP pick:  "Thankful that the Constitution would allow a bit more authority given to the vice president also, if that vice president so chose to exert it."  Another time:  "As for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what it is exactly that the VP does every day?  I'm used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration.  We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we're trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the US, before I can even start addressing that question.  OMG.

Resorting to the 2nd grader finger-pointing and
Don't you recognize when you have run out of anything pertinent to say?
5th grader suspended over Obama shirt

Well, DUH!!!!! The boy may not have known better, but I bet his dad did.

AURORA, Colo. -- A Colorado fifth-grader said he has been suspended from school for wearing a homemade T-shirt that said "Obama is a terrorist's best friend."

Daxx Dalton and his father, Dann Dalton, said his First Amendment rights were violated.

School officials in Aurora -- a Denver suburb -- said they respect students' free speech rights but also watch for things that might interrupt the learning environment. They said they can't discuss the specifics of the case.

The boy said he was given a choice of changing his shirt, turning it inside-out or being suspended, and he chose suspension.

His father told a Denver television station he's considering a lawsuit.

This teacher has her nerve.
1. Graduate from high school.
Good, I agree.

2. Get a job - keep it, no matter how much money.

So she would have her students stay at McDonalds the rest of their lives, no matter how much money they make. Don't strive for anything more (ya know, some older people have this mindset).

3. Never have a baby out of wedlock.

This makes me a bad person.

4. Get married and stay married.

I hope she explained to them not to stay in an abusive relationship just for the sake of staying married.

Aside from #1, these are definitely not things that you want to have drilled into a 7th graders mind.

Definitely don't stop at the principal, they back up the teachers in most cases. BTDT.

The case was about a teacher
There was a case where they were trying to ban a teacher from wearing a cross.

maybe he became a spelling teacher
HA HA HA
Like my teacher used to say, if you have nothing worth
xx
This probably all started with a 7-yo misunderstanding his teacher.nm

In the case you gave if the teacher said...sm
*I'm not in any way trying to tell you what you should believe of think but I am going to put this out there for you thing about...Some people believe Jesus Christ died and was born again for the sins of man.*

I still wouldn't see the problem. You have to listen to the entire statement. He said pointedly that he was not trying to tell the students how they should believe. But, if all you got over the newswaves were the butt end *Jesus died and was born again for the sins of man* then the entire point would be lost anyway.

That said, I think this teacher needs to find a job in a political science class where his comments would be more appropriate. I don't think he should be fired but a) moved to a political science class or b) told to stick to the cirriculum. I don't think either will be enough for those out for blood on this case.

My *teacher* has provided the Bible...
the same Bible that says Do Unto Others is very clear about homosexuality. It is called an abomination. Not too many ways you can take that. Therefore, the twinge you feel about homosexual marriage probably was not caused by bad cheese. But, as we all know, no one but you will have to explain your decisions when you stand before Him, and no one but me will have to explain my decisions when I stand before Him.

God bless.
That teacher also burned a cross into a student's arm.

4th grade teacher's letter to Obama

April 17, 2009

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington , DC 20500

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an  adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States ... You are not responsible to the people of any other country on Earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the people of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States?

This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You didn't show Great Britain, our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia .. How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey ... You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves.

What's the matter with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves?

I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad take.

Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.

I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Sincerely,
Every real American

Teacher Probed Over Bush Remarks (see article)

I'm glad we didn't have any whiners in our political science class in high school.  Our teacher was one that provoked thought, and this was during Clinton's presidency.   I think that's the whole point as unless you are a Bush loyalist who thinks any comment not praising him is against the law.

Teacher Probed Over Bush Remarks

Fast Fact

A student recorded about 20 minutes of Bennish's class during a Feb. 1st discussion about President Bush's State of the Union speech and gave the recording to his father, who complained to the principal.

(CBS/AP) About 150 students at a suburban Denver high school walked out of class to protest a decision to put a teacher on administrative leave while the school investigates remarks he allegedly made in class about President Bush, including a comment that some people compare Mr. Bush to Adolf Hitler.

The protest came Thursday as administrators began investigating whether Overland High School teacher Jay Bennish violated a policy requiring balancing viewpoints in the classroom, Cherry Creek School District spokeswoman Tustin Amole said.

It was peaceful. The students yelled, but there was no fighting, Amole said. Most of them did return to class.

The suspension, says Amole, is a paid leave and is not a punitive situation... It just gives us the opportunity to talk to him, to talk to students.

Overland High student Stacy Caruso says Bennish hasn't done anything wrong. In the classroom, says Caruso, everyone has their right to speak their opinion and he's not forcing any opinions on anyone.

Another student, Derek Belloni, tells CBS News Station KCNC-TV reporter Rick Sallinger that Bennish is out of line.

He's supposed to be teaching geography, says Belloni, and yet he's pushing a liberal agenda trying to convert kids to his side of the spectrum.

A telephone number listed for Bennish, who has been teaching social studies and American history at Overland since 2000, had been disconnected.

Sophomore Sean Allen recorded about 20 minutes of Bennish's class during a Feb. 1 discussion about President Bush's State of the Union speech and gave the recording to his father, who complained to the principal, Amole said.

After listening to the tape, it's evident the comments in the class were inappropriate. There were not adequate opportunities for opposing points of view, she said.

The student who made the tape agrees.

I've been his class four weeks, says Allen, and I've never heard another side.

Deborah Fallin, spokeswoman for the Colorado Education Association, which represents about 37,000 union teachers, said it will not represent Bennish because he is not a member.

He's terribly upset about the fact that he can't teach right now, says David Lane, an attorney who is now representing Bennish. He's so upset and I am now his lawyer and we will be going to federal court.

OMG! ! ! Have you ever been brain-

You are just another Fox hater because you know cannot stand the fact that they present the truth to people and are not ashamed to do so.
You think you got your brain all by yourself? WOW....

brain study
I read a study where they did brain scans on democrats and republicans and while scanning showed pictures of war.  The republican brains lit up on the opposite side than the democrat brains.  So, the study surmised that just maybe our brains were built to work differently and that could be why we have a take on things so radically differently.  I will try to find the article and post the net address.
If the scarecrow had a brain (sm)
they would be smart enough to know that not everyone being paid an hourly wage less than the minimum wage is EARNING lessing than minimum wage. Or are they so cheap they've never left a tip?
If they had a brain they also would have checked their facts before they posted Al Franken's butt talk.
And if it didn't have a brain, it would be

This is how his mind works: How am I supposed to evacuate New Orleans.

His mind says, I KNOW ROW VERSUS WADE, I believe I heard that somewhere.

What an idiot, what a jerk.  He took responsibility for this mess, did not have enough balls to mention Iraq.  The saddest thing is he has several extreme right believing him.  I have nothing against conservative right, just extreme right.  Hey, I am born again.  I am not into organized religion, I am just into the teachings of Jesus Christ.  I have strong beliefs, but this administration has decided we should all be organized religion.  There has to be, has to be, a separation of church and state, that is where this idiot went wrong.  Yes, things are different, kids cannot pray in schools or do the pledge of allegiance, but anyone with a mind knows you can pray silently or do anything silently.  Prob is they want it crammed down everyones throat.  I have enough of a relationship with my God, I can pray anywhere, privately, do not have to do it like a marter with everyone looking on, it loses its power that way.

If you had a brain, you'd have a clue. sm
Unfortunately, you don't have either.  And you are dangerous. You put us all at risk.  Especially the military you PRETEND to support.  And it is a pretense.  We all know it.  Cowards.  You are all cowards.
Yes, the brain is evil.
I don't know what else you could call it. Just the fact that Bush relies on a man with Rove's kind of history says all there is to say about this administration - the addition of the rest of the Nixon-era chickenhawks is icing on that sh**cake. It's creepy beyond belief how some Bush supporters actually applaud that kind of dirty business and call it political saavy. Let's call it what it really is - just plain amoral and reprehensible sociopathic behavior.
Fox is #1 among the BRAIN DEAD
LOL - studies have proven FOX viewers to be significantly LESS informed about current events than ANY of the other networks (though they are all back)...

FOX tells the brain-dead WHAT THEY WANT to hear -

Taking everything you read literally is the best way I know of to be brainwashed, cheated, fooled, hoodwinked, taken advantage of, screwed, you name it.

What I alluded to is that I don't want MY tax dollars, or anyone ELSE's, bailing out a bunch of crooks who STOLE money from a bunch of people, sold 'em bad loans, etc., and got RICH BEYOND ANYONE'S WILDEST DREAMS by doing so.

Wall Street & Corporate America have turned into one giant con-man's shell-game, and it's about time there was a major shakeout and restructuring. Would it be difficult in the short-run? You bet. (Like it isn't already?) But in the long-run, if the system were reinvented and rebuilt, it might come out a lot better in the end.
Thank you.....nice to know someone has a brain

It does not matter if he was born on Mars or in a spaceship, his mother was an American citizen when he was born and was until the day she died. That makes him a natural-born American citizen and eligible to run for president. Do I need to repeat myself again? What is it that you do not understand?

A narrow-minded believer in fantasy until the bitter end.
And some of us with a full brain knows this is (sm)

also about Israel.

From another Republican under the Reagan Administration, Paul Craig Roberts:  http://www.vdare.com/roberts/090508_hate_crime.htm

Since the passage of the Global Anti-Semitism Review Act in 2004, the US Department of State is required to monitor anti-Semitism worldwide.  The State Department is not required to monitor anti-Americanism or sentiments against Christians, Muslims or Arabs.  Thus, the act created a specially protected class worthy of careful monitoring by the US Department of State of negative sentiments expressed against Jews.

In order to monitor anti-Semitism, the term must be defined.  The definition is subjective and will be widely, rather than narrowly, interpreted.

The State Department has come up with its attempt.  The State Department’s approach could include any truthful statements about Israel and its behavior toward the Palestinians that the Israeli government or AIPAC or the Anti-Defamation League would deny or contest.

Anti-Semitic speech can be interpreted as inciting hatred.  Inciting hatred can be interpreted to be a violent act.  “Excessive” criticism of Israel is a subjective, indefinable concept that can be used to determine anti-semitic speech.  It is easy to conflate “excessive” with “strong”

Thus, demands that Israel be held accountable for war crimes committed in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, or elsewhere become acts of the “hate crime” of anti-semitism.

But you do not get it, do you?

Remember, when Blair was called 'the poodle of Bush'?

Or did you never hear about this? It's politics.

Most of us with half a brain already knew this

Hate crimes bill.....what a joke it is in the first place, but most people who aren't on the homosexual bandwagon already knew that.  Now, at least a homosexual activist gets it!!
