Shocked he wasn't impeached? Pelosi and Reid should be impeached for not impeaching him. It was their constitutional duty to impeach him but they didn't. So...what dirt on them does Bush/Cheney hold. Also, Kucinich has been trying to get him impeached for a long time. So there's a lot going on behind the scenes we are not aware of.

However, I just don't share your views about this administration. I don't think trying to increase this country's intelligence and making the CIA and FBI better networking departments a controversial issue. When asked the question what American has the Patriot Act violated the dems are strangely quiet. They just continue to insist that Bush has done something wrong by increasing the intelligence level through wiretaps that every other American president was okayed to do.
I just don't understand congressmen and women standing up there having a hissy over Bush wire taps knowing, KNOWING, that the 4th plane on 9/11 was bound for an in session capital building. To me the Dems are BLINDED by partisan politcs. It frankly borders on sociopathic..
Bush has done nothing to to hurt Americans but only to protect them. Frankly, I'm glad he's got the guts to do what it takes to keep America safe. I don't know what *9/11 perps* you are talking about, but I don't think anyone has gone free. I really don't know why in the heck you care about terrorists rotting in jail in the first place. They are not American citizens and have none of the rights an American has. If the military was allowed to do what it was supposed to do and try them they would be dispensed with, but throwing them in the American legal system only condemed them to the piss poor, liberally manged American judicial system---who would much rather have a T.V. celebrity trial with all the trimmings than actually get down to work to putting some of the psychos and thugs behind bars or better yet....executing some the slime who prey on children and the innocent.
While I will never convince you to support this president you need to see things for what they really are. What is going to take for some of you to see that the president is not the problem but terrorism and partisan politics is? I guess it may take a much broader hit than 9/11. The TRUTH of the matter is that Pat Tillman joined the Army in June of 2002 because he was so moved by the terror attack of 9/11 that he wanted to *get* Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan. That was almost a year before the Iraq invasion when Chickenhawk Bush sent our kids to die for his fake war based on lies of WMD. Obviously Tillman saw through all Bush's crap, just like most Americans today see through it.

He didn't switch sides because he is "disenchanted" with the republican party. He never voted republican to begin with. He has always been a liberal. When I heard he switched parties at first I thought he switched to be a republican. He was always left, just not as far left as most. He couldn't go too left otherwise suspicion would have been raised a long time ago. So there is no loss to the republican side since he was never really a republican to begin with. He also switched for one main reason. It has nothing to do with liberal or conservative values. It has everything to do with the fact that he does not believe he will be voted for next year as a conservative. He's done this in the past. He used to be democrat, then when he thought he would not be voted for as a democrat he switched to republican. So, he may have switched now, but don't worry, down the road if the democrats don't get voted in he will switch again for the following election.

As to Obama throwing his pastor under the bus, in my opinion he was about 20 years late in throwing him under the bus. I simply would rather take a chance on him (unknown) versus McCain (known). Either way we are royally screwed IMHO. If McCain is elected and doesn't pan out as you seem to think he will, I hope you remember you voted for him. I have been dealing with my mother's for years. You won't have to worry about your mother not being able to afford her medications for 4 months because the way it is being set up, your government will decide if your mother even needs that drug and if so, how many "pills" she can be dispensed and how long she can take it and if the GOVERNMENT doesn't feel it is helping, she will not be allowed to get any of it......PERIOD! They will decide if she is still young enough to make the government's handing her the meds worth their money or not. If not, they will allow her to do without and if that kills her, so be it. They have determined she is a lost case and doesn't deserve her medications, the medications I and you pay for.....but of course, Obama lovers just know their government knows best. Now they can decide if you live or die depending on your age. Just stick around folks.......it's gonna be sickening!!!
