Where are you getting that I

let my kids wander around by themselves in public?  All it takes is for my 5 year old son and me to turn a corner and see a computer monitor with someone looking at obscene stuff.  If people want to access that kind of material, it should be done in the privacy of their home but not in a public place.  There is a reason why underage children aren't allowed in titty bars and novelty shops.  So why should we allow people to access that same kind of imagery in public view when our children could be exposed to it?
