This post by Chele has nothing to do with my opinion and my post from yesterday.  And there is a huge difference between government telling me how to raise my child and dictating to me or my children what to believe about religion and the government monitoring websites in a public place like a library.  If you cannot see that difference, then you have a big problem.  If you think that a parent can always be at the library monitoring what their kid is doing 24x7, or any other public place with internet access, you are crazy.  And I don't think that there is anything wrong in those cases with the gov stepping up and ensuring FOR the parents and the children that our youth will not be exposed to this type of thing and that public property would not be used for this type of thing.  That does not at all infringe upon my rights as a parent, it actually helps supports me as a parent in the fact that it helps me raise my child up w/o that negative influence.  You are grasping at straws.
