experience is, it lacks credibility especiall when you base it on YOUR experience.  Who are you?  How much experience do you actually have?  What kind of experience do you have?  How many diabetic patients have you encountered in your years of experience?

You can't expect to make a sweeping generalization like "all diabetics have hypertension" and not get called out on it.  Come on!  Know your place.  Arrogance is an unattactive personality trait.

I did offer help...I offered a great resource, not only to the original poster, but to those who may read this thread and not have known of this resource. I have done my share of spoonfeeding here and have probably been thanked more often than you know. I don't see anything in the TOS that keeps the antisocials from participating on this site, regardless of your personal feelings.

We discussed smoking cessation. I explained to him the need to determine what each cigarette is being smoked for and to find alternatives to that. We discussed Chantix. I explained to him that one of the side effects is suicide. When he hears this, he decides he does not want try that medication, but he will try it with over-the-counter aids and his _____ . We will go ahead and get some routine blood work today. We will have him follow up in 2 weeks for a physical exam and to review the blood work.
