Sound like he is saying A.M. or am plastic wire and A.M. or am plastic plug.  This is for placement of a plastic plug for abdominal aortic anuerysm and common iliac aneurysm.  Thanks.

My doc is saying that the patient has a lesion on her left upper forehead at the s/l "trickle" junction.  I know "trich-" or "tricho-" has to do with hair, but the only thing I found was a single reference online to a "Pre-trichal" (around a hair follicle) reference in a file I did not want to open and save to my computer.   Stedman's has a "pretrichial", but doctor definitely says "trickle"(phonetically) with no "pre".  Any thoughts?  Thanks for your help!

#2 The area of cadaver skin was covered with S/L Bridobel, Acticoat and sterile dressing.

I've looked in all my Stedman references, Vera Pyle, as well as Google.  Nothing has come up.  Hope you might have these terms written in somewhere.  If you know your reference source, please state.  Thanks.

Subject: In Stedman's ENT I see mucous plug (under plug).

This is one of those cases where the harder you think the more confused you can get. If it is mucous plug, then it seems like that would really be short for mucous membrane plug to me. Mucus plug, as in plug of mucus, does seem more logical to me.
