It is important that Valium not be administered  for DTs  until patient's arterial blood gas restula is established.

My department would not allow us to use made up words or slang, so I would spell it out as pulmonary arterial vent, or pulmonary artery vent, and I'm not even sure about the vent.  Maybe it should actually be ventilation.  I'd have to see the context.
