Anyone know which one is more likely here?  Thanks.

Patient had a CVA. He also had an MRA at that time, which showed a hyperplastic? hypoplastic? artery, and no aneurysms.  (I think artery mentioned is carotid.)

Subject: Help with external fixator slang

On this account slang words are typed as dictated.  For external fixator he dictates ex-fix.  Is 'ex-fix' correct or should it be x-fix?  It has been suggested that it might XFIX, a brand name, but I have not been able to find anything to confirm it.

Thanks!
