Subject: Facial skin rash

Hi all,

I am now in a panic on this one.  I have spent an hour looking for this word.  The patient has the diagnosis of photosensitive allergic dermatitis and only has a rash on the face.  Toward the end of the report the doctor dictates the following: We did discuss _______ but this is not clinically that diagnosis.  The blank sounds like ericiproteous OR a resiprotus.  Thanks for your help and time.

The nature of her chest wall spasms is not clear. The first thing that comes to mind is herpes, but this would have to be herpes syn rash. There does not appear to be a cutaneous component to it, and postherpetic neuralgia is less likely but still remains the most likely diagnosis.

Impression: Probable viral "xantham" .  The doctor spells the word but even says he is not sure if that is correct.  He says it means a rash that goes along with a virus.  I can't find anything on this.  It if google, it comes up xanthan gum.  Any suggestions?
