I have searched MTStars and can't find my answer.  I have posted this question before and do not get a reply.  I promise this will be my last attempt to find this answer.  I know how to use follow up and follow-up, BUT many people are using followup per BOS.  I can't find followup as a word in any dictionary.  Can someone please tell me where this is found BESIDES BOS?  Thanks in advance.  We are possibly putting in a quality check and I want to make sure I have it correct before then.  Thank you!

I reached the half-century point last March; been in this profession since I was 17! (that's *33 years* if you don't want to do the math)...I've worked for USA services, hospitals, doctor offices; been an MTSO, corporate management, account manager...onsite, offsite, you name it...been through every specialty, every accent, every change (remember WP5.1?), every pay cut....! and this board keeps me sane while I search for a new career that values my experience and knowledge as globalism and technology redefine our industry...so I may be old and set, but I refuse to be left behind! =)

HEART: Regular in rhythm and rate, with an occasional topic beat.

hate to beat a dead horse on ileal conduit
Subject: hate to beat a dead horse on ileal conduit

Does anyone have a GI/GU book that lists ileoconduit?  My QA does not like to be proved wrong.  She took a large deduction for my putting ileal conduit.  I am sending a QA review to have it looked at again, but she always comes up with a reference book from somewhere that has her word listed, so I'm just trying to save myself all the headache of submitting a QA review to find out it is listed somewhere ileoconduit.

NWMNMT:Good grief, good grief, good grief..If this is the case, the doctor should also explain
Subject: NWMNMT:Good grief, good grief, good grief..If this is the case, the doctor should also explain

the meaning in an ADDENDUM.
How do you know what the doctor meant? GOOD GRIEF, are you the know-it-all (hyphens must be put here, as it is used as a noun!) on this board? Get over yourself!

Who understands what it means without an explanation?
The MOST obvious is apparently like I understood it:
5 packs in 1 year.

Maybe the doctor really meant this, 5 packs per year, so essentially a nonsmoker.

GOOD GRIEF, get over yourself!

good/well
Subject: good/well

According to Webster's, good as an adjective and standard after verbs like "feel" and "taste". It goes on to say that both "good" and "well" are used to express good health, but "I feel good" may connote good spirits in addition to good health. I was always taught in English class that one feels "good," not well. If you feel well, your fingers are working correctly. Since it says that good and well are both used to express health, perhaps you can take your choice. I would write that he looks good.
