This is correct but there is a catch..
Subject: This is correct but there is a catch..

if the doc dictates "eleven thirty", then you would type it as 11:30 and make sure you use the digital format throughout the remainder of the report to keep consistency.  (i.e.: The patient had a palpable lump at 11:30 in the right breast and at 1:00 in the left breast.) Do not type 11:30 o'clock (even though some will actually dictate it that way).

If all locations are on the "whole" hour then you do use the format of 11 o'clock.

A 22-gauge long spinal needle was inserted directly into the (s/l-THEP)  joint.  It's not hip.  I'm sure of that.  It sounds like it starts with a TH or an F.  This is for a fusion for a spinal fracture.

THANKS!

may be just too new to have much info on.  I did see an article on Google with the Oakland Bone and Joint Specialists, where he and a colleague, Dr. Jeffrey Mann, were pioneering a new total ankle replacement.  This is copyrighted for 2007-2008, so maybe he has developed dressings, bandages and such.

I'm gonna save this one, and if I do find it verified in any medical books, etc., will send you a message about it.  Thanks for sharing!

PET scan wiht cortex with prominent anterior s/l *singulet* hypometabolism. Definite T at end. sm
Subject: PET scan wiht cortex with prominent anterior s/l *singulet* hypometabolism. Definite T at end. sm

The FDG-PET scan is classic textbook for frontotemporal dementia and confirms this clinical diagnosis with a high degree of diagnostic certainty.  The patient has severe bilaterally symmetric frontal hypometabolism. This includes both lateral and mesial portions of the cortex with prominent anterior *singulet* hypometabolism.  There are lesser degrees of anterior temporal hypometabolism but by far frontal lobes are more affected. There is also slight decrease in left parietal cortex with relative sparing of primary motor sensory cortex.
