Subject: as no HUMAN name is before it...sm

the original poster said something like "pt to be seen by cardiology and infectious disease departments" -

These are not proper nouns/names..........it would only be a proper noun/name if the hospital name precedes it.....i.e., St. Mary's Dept of Cardiology and/or St. Mary's Infectious Disease Department, or a name like....John Doe's Dept of Cardiology etc., etc.

Unless, of course, your client wants these things capitalized...but even if your client wants them capitalized, without a proper name preceding the departments, your client would be incorrect, but again one gives the client(s) what they want.

Refilled her ProAir and her Flovent. Will increase strength of Flovent to 110, as she may have some s/l barking spasm.

I know about barking cough, but I've never heard it put this way, as spasm. Has anyone heard of this. I thought he may be saying marked spasm. I've listened to it so many times that I can hear both barking and marked, but when I think I hear marked, it sounds more like mark-ed. Definitely hear 2 syls.

Thanks

Subject: basic human anatomy (thumb has "opponens" musculature) sm

Opposition is the movement whereby the palmar aspect of the thumb touches the palmar aspect of another finger of the same hand. (When the contact is not by their palmar aspects, the movement is merely apposition.) The converse of opposition is reposition. These movements occur at all the joints of the thumb, although opposition takes place mainly at the carpometacarpal joint.(source--Dartmouth.edu)

It sounds like you have a computer virus. I work out of Word 2003 and have never experienced
Subject: It sounds like you have a computer virus. I work out of Word 2003 and have never experienced

that before.  Do you current up-to-date anti-virus programs on your computer?  You may want to check that out, or better yet, call a computer shop nearby and ask their advice.  Once I had over 70 viruses on my computer, and had to have the entire hard drive wiped out and everything put back in.  Once it gets that infected, you have to basically start over, and it would do really weird things like you are describing.
