I've always used PermCath

If I'm not mistaken, I think I had looked up Permacath on the internet and it didn't come up. A few of the doctors I transcribe for say Permacath, but I always change it.

ChemPort and PermCath--is this right?

My eyesight is going because I've been squinting for 20 minutes trying to find either of these in my black surgical word book with no luck. If anyone knows what these are or a reliable website to find out, please let me know. I guess I should have sprung for the more expensive book with bigger print...

This word drives me BONKERS. Can anyone straighten me out as to which one to use. The doc is definitely saying permacath with the A sound. Doing an IJ tunneled Permacath or Perma-Cath???? for renal failure.

Okay, this one gets me too, however, the manufacture I found is listed as Quinton and they make a hemodialysis catheter called PermCath. I also saw this notation at an Oxford Medical College website referenced. I use PermCath.
