Nursing school teaches it as pus-like.
Subject: Nursing school teaches it as pus-like.

I am an LPN turned MT (did take classes).  In nursing school the very first thing we learned about charting, doing admission assessments, etc. was DO NOT use the word pussy.  In the medical profession it is not acceptable, even though doctors do dictate it.  Nurses are taught to use pus-like.  In addition to that and what the BOS says, as well as for the state of professionalism, I always use pus-like and have never had it corrected.

I have a dictator that said, "The child was born at term.  Mom was 24 weeks' gestation."  I always thought term was somewhere around 36+ weeks.  He went on to say the birth weight was 6 pounds 13 ounces.  Just from experience, I would think a 24-week gestation infant would not weigh that much.

glissement, you won't get what you need. You need to limit your results to those that are relevant to your topic by adding associated terms to your search. Try the two words "glissement" and "knee" (without the quotes). There will be a lot of results in French, but even if you can't read French, you will be able to see that they are relevant to your topic. There are, however, a few that use "glissement" in an English context, which should give you more confidence. In any event, it's your initials on the report, so you handled it in the way that is most comfortable for you. I could be wrong, of course, but I suspect that it will turn out to be "glissement".
