Looking at various hits on Google, it looks like the acid and the mofetil are 2 different things, so maybe a slash should go in there and it should be transcribed: mycophenolic acid/mofetil field? Would you all agree?

because that is how they have it listed in the EXAM portion of the radiology reports that I type.  If they had it like tib-fib I would type it that way more than likely.    I like to keep it the same throughout.

This is how I do it.  Don't you love when they dictate things like that?  What is wrong with "better than 70% improvement" or improvement greater than 70%, or whatever.  Sometimes I change things like that to make it clear and so they look like they have a grip on the English language.

On the physical exam in the category of extremities, the doctor says "The patient has bilateral chronic stasis changes in the lower extremities.  There is associated [s/l mark-type profigmentation] with no edema, erythema or warmth"


I'm assuming the "profigmentation" is maybe pigmentation that he just stumbled on but I'm not positive on that.  The patient was being seen for bilateral lower extremity recurrent cellulitis.


Any ideas?
