TICC line
Subject: TICC line

Doctor is very specific about T(not P)---The TICC line was placed as she is on dialysis.  After a lot of searching did find a vague reference to totally implantable chamber catheter, which is placed in the internal jugular or femoral veins, usually with cancer patients on long-term chemotherapy.  Would greatly appreciate any validation of this, as it is the first time I have heard of it.

Thank you for your help, but again, the doctor was very specific on the spelling. Am very aware what a PICC line is, but was hoping someone might have heard of a TICC line.

acidic and non-acidic line or is it acetic and non-acetic line? see message for more.
Subject: acidic and non-acidic line or is it acetic and non-acetic line? see message for more.

Title of procedure:  A 24-hour pH probe study.

Then we pulled the probe 2 inches above the level between the acidic and non-acidic line and then we taped it and anchored it and the baby started the breast-feeding right away after the probe placement.

I would have to disagree with you on that one and haven't seen a company yet accept it that way.  The norm is followup for noun and follow up or follow-up for a verb.  What I'm trying to find is a REAL rule for this somewhere in some book.
Nope, don't think it was either of those....

I just sent it to QA and was gratified to see they had no clue either so the blank got sent on to the client. Guess whatever it was he mangled it beyond recognition LOL. Thanks for the suggestions though!

If no species is mentioned, it doesn't get the capital letter. I think this information is in BOS, 2nd Edition, in case you forget again.

Gets capital letter only if species is mentioned.
