"The fracture was segmental with the fracture distally requiring a blocking screw. We placed in a blocking screw from anterior to posterior to medialize the rod and prevent valgus instability. With the locking screw in place, using Kretek and Cole pollar blocking screws we then proceeded to place a guide pin down the femoral shaft to the end of the femur.

Doc spelled this out but cannot document it and he doesn't always get it right - anybody heard this before - thanks

it has Tiny Tytan.  I was trying to find s/l "Dutcher" before but no lock.  I love Stedman's Equipment.

but must prefer matrixectomy as it lists the different types under it, and nothing under matricectomy. 

For all of the years I have typed in this for orthopods or any other documents including x-rays, it has always been patellofemoral.  Hope this helps!

Hi.  I do quite a bit of OP notes with lots of deliveries and surgeries for OB/GYN.  I do agree with the previous post that those books would be extremely helpful, but I totally understand being strapped for cash (single mom with three kids here).  I thought this website might offer you some help until things start to get a little better for you.  You will find links here for just about everything.

for the past 10-15 minutes - I wish my plastic surgeons, who use the V.A.C. System all the time and I've been working for them 10+ years - would have corrected me over ALL this time......*cyberslaps them* *LOL*

Well, I thank you and the person who posted the corrrect answer (was that you?).....for sending me in the right direction.  Actually it's better because now I will type in the periods and that's 3 more character spaces to get paid for *rofl*
