satting versus sating
I have a correction from QA stating it should be sating, I remember from awhile back being told it should be satting    % on room air ......  can anyone tell me which is correct and where to find it?  Thanks!

(I know I can't satisfy anone else here).  I asked my QA manager this morning on my verbatim account about this issue without going into detail about the responses.  Just the simple original question "packs per day or PPD."  Her immediate response was to gasp and say always spell out something like that so there would be no confusion in the report as the point of transcription is to provide clarity.

To each his/her own.  I just wanted to see how my company wanted it on my VERBATIM account.

satting

I always type satting. One of those "docisms" or slang that you will run into along the way. Here is a link from MT Daily that tells a little more about this stuff. Good luck.

since most of my accounts have been verbatim and no expanding to saturation, etc.  To me, sating would mean like to sate, i.e., to satisfy a desire or appetite.

The patient went ahead and took something for the UTI, causing partial clearing of the urine, so the results of the UA are skewed.
