tears that well up in the lids rather than draining off in the ducts. Not sure, though, but "lake" may be correct.

"limmuth" is probably limbus (edge or border or a part) and "lubetadine" sounds like Betadine - sure this is not a numbing topical anesthetic drop? Sorry for lack of help - sounds you have your hands full with this one.
