Subject: Versed? Class of medications?

This doctor mentions the patient has taken valium w/o difficulty so anything of Versed? nature would be safe- is this a class of medications?  I am having difficulty finding a match through my usual google, rxlist.com, etc.

I use drugs.com when I am unsure of the spelling or capitalization, etc.

I only use rxlist for the dosage information because it is easier to find on page 2 of their site.

The FDA also has a wonderful site -

Brand name/generic -- Versed?

Hi..I can't seem to find Versed as a brand name drug.  On searching the Internet I find Midazolam, with capitals, and even found versed in parentheses after it, but I'm pretty sure Versed is the brand and not the generic name.  Can anyone validate this?  Nothing at all comes up on www.rxlist.com.  Also send me your good web site link for looking up drugs.  Rxlist doesn't seem as good as it used to be.  Thanks.
