Subject: Where to plug into

The place on the back of your computer where your speakers are plugged. The volume adjust through the computer in your volume control.

This is one of those cases where the harder you think the more confused you can get. If it is mucous plug, then it seems like that would really be short for mucous membrane plug to me. Mucus plug, as in plug of mucus, does seem more logical to me.

Some of the newer computers have an earphone jack on the front as well as USB ports.  Like the poster above said, you can change the volume from your desktop using your speaker volumn control.
