Actually we are in some cases responsible for the content. It is the opinion of a nurse friend of mine that we shouldn't be since we are not in the chain of responsibility. However, when a doctor dictates Synthroid 100 mg do you type what he says? What if the BP is 210/100 and he says hypotension. We don't type that if we don't want a poor audit and in some people's cases, poor audits equal pay cuts. So yes we are responsible for pertinent medical content. In my opinion if a doctor says something rude or ignorant, leave a blank and let him type it or rethink what he said.

Actually I have seen it spelled that way in my old Eye Dictionary, but Sted's has synophrys so I will correct spelling to that.

We are all typing without spell check in this program which we are all very accustom to relying on. Give us all a break....and yes...I am SURE that I have a typo in here and don't care. My question is would this go under the heading of MUSCULOSKELETAL?? If not that, then which one???
