Does this make sense? Doing a cataract surgery and it s/l the preop dx is descreased sclerotic cataract.

I am positive he is saying sugarcane, but I cannot find any documentation anywhere to support this. I have never heard this used as an anesthetic before. Am I hearing this correctly?
