Welcome to the boards!
Subject: Welcome to the boards!

I don't think you would get slammed for helping, but I have seen people on these boards get slammed for less.  Like the other poster said, you can usually see a pattern with these types of posts.  A lot of times people will ask for more context in order to help them find an answer...and the original poster never returns to answer.  Also, like the other poster said, they rarely say 'thank you'.  Most of us are pretty good about saying thank you when someone gives us advice or help on here.  Asking three or four questions in a row is sometimes an indicator as well, especially when the three or four posts made are for the same exact question.

Welcome to the boards, and just remember to try not to take things too personally.  There will be people at times who will say nasty things just to try to start something or to try to hurt your feelings.  Take it with a grain of salt if this happens.

Good luck to you!

free filling or flowing vitrinus?
I need help with this orthopedic term.  I have heard it before, but I don't have a clue what it is.  Sounds like free flowing or free filling vitreous or vitrinus.  Doc is doing an arthroscopic surgery.  Thanks

We did write the note for the coach that she can pitch 2-3 innings per game but really is not to do any s/l (filling/fielding) type activities that would require deceleration.

Can anyone tell me if I have the form of the word malleoli correct in this sentence.  Should it be malleoli or malleolus in this sentence.  The doc is saying malleoli, but it sounds funny to me.  Here is the sentence:

She has mild edema to the left ankle with mild tenderness over the bilateral malleoli, a little more prominent over the lateral malleoli, just anterior.

TIA
