This is driving me crazy. He has said it 4 times.
"under the eppidiceum" so maybe he is referring to the skin of the finger? The laceration is near the nail bed. I can't find it, have been looking and looking.

On examination, she has a well-healed carpal tunnel release, full range of motion of all of her fingers. Negative Tinel's and Phalen’s and median nerve compression of the left wrist.
