OSTEOARTHRITIS OF THE DISTAL RADIAL ULNAR JOINT OF THE LEFT WRIST.
And the doctor states for the x-rays taken today of the left wrist indicate a positive Terry Thomas sign indicating scapholunate gap. There is also degenerative joint disease noted of the DRUJ is this correct...(distal radioulnar joint) or distal radial ulnar joint?? I am lost at the moment finding it both ways. tia.

Funny thing-l was checking Medilexicon for it and it also stands for "Chinese Hamsters with Spontaneous Diabetes" and "Chinese Hamsters of the Asahikawa Colony" although these do not match the letters in the acronym.  My son and I were just laughing it up over this one and wondering if some country funded a study somewhere to study hamsters in China who spontaneously develop Diabetes!

I've worked for a lot of orthopods as both an MT and an editor over the years and I don't think I've ever heard one of them define what CAM actually stood for.

It's not even very easy to find out what those letters mean via any source.

I've made a note of "controlled ankle motion" just for my own personal information, but if any of my docs dictate "CAM" then I would give them exactly that: CAM
