I know that cranial nerves are counted in Roman numerals, II-XII.  When the doctor dictates the number first, though, how do we type it?  7th nerve?  Seventh nerve?  Is there a standard.  I don't have access to the handbook.  Thanks!

I don't think in DocQscribe we have that function
Subject: I don't think in DocQscribe we have that function

I was told no underlining or bolding or suprascript/subcript can be used in the program DocQscribe (which some of us do use) - and is why I typed to the OP *10 to the 5th*

I saw another poster one day says it's *10X5*  but I don't like the way that looks

I asked a CMT a month ago (friend of mine who used to head a chapter of the AAMT) and she said she thought it was a good question and that she would use 10 to the 5th.

Just 2 opinions here...

well if F4 turns on and off a function....
Subject: well if F4 turns on and off a function....

Don't know what system you work on....but I think if one uses a function to turn something on, perhaps the same function you used to turn something on would/might turn the function off....

i.e., I use F4 for expansions but if I don't want something expanded I hit F4 to NOT expand something...like if an expansion is ER turning into emergency room but the dictator said ER and not stated emergency room, the F4 function would stop ER from expanding to emergency room.

Hope that explains things better......
