Mediastinal retrocrural lymphadenopathy
Subject: Mediastinal retrocrural lymphadenopathy

I have done quite a bit of research on this particular word as of late and it is mediastinal retrocrural lymphadenopathy.  Type in the whole phrase and I know you will find it as I did.  There is no such term as retrocrural adenopathy.

Subject: Well it is Friday... hilar/mediastinal would be okay and hilar or mediastinal would be okay, but hilar mediastinal are two different things, so where he wants the "slash" give him a slash (no pun intended) and where he says or put in "or" and then have a drink.

My doc is confusing me ( what else is new?).  He is evaluating pulmonary nodules and lymphadenopathy in his patient.  First he says "Hilar mediastinal lymphadenopathy"  then says "he is being followed for hilar/mediastinal (actually says "slash" there)  lymphadenopathy" then he says "there is a slight increase of the hilar or mediastinal lymphadenopathy" All of these he says clearly and I have no idea if it's AND, OR, / or WHAT.   I'm gonna start drinking .......
