mottling
What is the sentence you are referring to with the word in it? I have only heard doctors refer to mottling or mottled as a sort of discoloration of a person's skin due to poor circulation or other problems. I need you to give me the sentence or paragraph and I will try to help.
Mottling
You just answered my question.  If mottling refers to the skin, then it is remodeling.  The sentence was referring to bones.   Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.
